Disco

Question Posted Thursday March 10 2005, 5:32 pm

Is a disco party a good party for a 12-year-old turning 13? My little sister is thinking of doing that for her birthday, and I was wondering what everyone thought.

P.S.- also, what about playing Dance Dance Revolution at the party, to have like a mini dance- off?.

Hi Sweetie,
This girl who had the party is a friend of your sister's, right? If she is then maybe it wouldn't be a good idea to have a disco party too. See... for that girl the party still seems like a good idea because its unusual and weird and cool. ...But since it IS unusual it will be too weird to have one... right after the other. Sorry but that type of thing gets burned out fast. It will still be a good idea if that girl is some stranger who does not have the same guests s your sister plans to invite to her party. ...If you DO have the party then yes have a mini-dance off.
Take care, good luck. ~Blessed Be...

That's really cool! It sounds better than my party when I was 12. Except I got a Louis Viton. Yep that was cool. But that sounds like a really good idea.

That`d be so much fun! You should get some guys and make them dress up! haha do you have a disco ball? Clear your basement or living room and make a dance floor! Earth, Wind, and fire is the BEST disco band especially their song Dancin thru September so you could dance to that! And make sure everyone dresses up in wigs, bell bottoms and 70`s stuff! =) ♥ mucho love- Rachel!

I think that's a great idea and she'll love it. It's awesome that your going to throw her a disco party. When you turn 13 it should always be a party everyones going to remember; and it looks like this one will be remembered! Also playing Dance Dance Revolution and having a dance off sounds like a lot of fun. Go for it!
