Well the title pretty much says it all.
I've come back from uni for the summer and I was tidying up the spareroom and found a tape in the machine. So i know it probably wasn't right of me to watch it but it turns out it was porn! I looked in one of his draws and there's like 7 tapes in there!
I really don't know what to do, I want him to stop doing it. But i don't know what to say to anyone? Or whether i should say anything at all?
I don't think it would bother me so much if he wasn't over 65!!!!!!!!!!!! It's disgusting!! And it's really on my mind loads.
we are moving house soon, so i was thinking maybe i could 'misplace' them in a bin somewhere and he wouldn't notice?

I know this has probably turned into something you wish you hadn't started at all by asking this question, but I hope you will not mind this input.
Put as shortly as possible with no personality issues:
He is your Dad.
I know you have a problem with him doing this, but I have to ask one simple question: Is it worth ruining your relationship over?
I know the first thought I would have if this were a debate would be: "But HE is doing it, not me!"
I understand. The real crux of the matter is this: He doesn't have a problem with it, but you do. This makes it a problem that belongs to you.
Now, you can choose to share that problem with your dad, but you risk making him never think the same way about you again.
Do you wish you could "un-know" what you know? He would always wish he could "un-know" that you know if you share your problem with him.
The other thing to consider is the age issue. It is entirely possible that he has been doing this longer than you have been alive. If he is addicted to porn, I don't know that you saying something would help. Maybe it would, and maybe it would push him further away from you. There is no way to know without trying it, and it will be an expensive experiment if it goes badly. :-(
I hope you decide what to do from the perspective that between the two of you... you are the one who has a problem with the idea, not him. I also hope that if you share this with him, you do so in a loving way, and not in a "you are so disgusting!!!!!!!!!" way.
If you just happen to "lose" his items, he will get more. This is a fact that you should know before you decide to do that. So, it wouldn't really do anything beside make him mad, and perhaps let him know that you know.
Please think carefully before you decide what to do.

Traveling to Cuba on a budget seems to be very popular these days. Sadly, nobody here has been, apparently, judging by the length of time this has been posted here.
The same advice I gave you in your other question on picking between two resort hotels would apply just as well to trying to find an overall CHEAP Cuban Resort vacation which is all inclusive.

Hello there,
There are occasions where an answer was deleted and the number of answers gets out of sync. There are also times when a user has been banned, and their answer is hidden until the ban is lifted. Lastly if you have your threshold set to 3 and the user either doesn't have enough ratings to have an average yet, or has a rating below 3, you will not see their answer(s.)

I am working on my friends 1996 accord ex.He has a problem with the power locks not working they sound like they want to inguage but no go.Even with the remote does not work. I took the passenger side door switch over to the driver side to see if it was the switch but still the same I can hear a noise from what I think is the door actuater on driver door when you hit the button at first sounds loud like trying to work then gets faint as you continue to hit the button almost like loosing electrical juice. If you give it a rest and start over then again sounds loud then gets lower in sound. So I am lost any ideas or hints as to what is going on please help ! (link)

Hi there,
Well, by using the remote you bypass the switches altogether. Some cars this age will have a central lock control unit for the power door-locks. The 1996 Honda Accord is probably no different. Odds are it is in the driver's door. of your car.
Have a look at your wiring diagram, and see where that control unit is. If you don't have a book with a wiring schematic for your 1996 Honda Accord, you are going to want to get one.
If you check the central lock control unit and it is good (just because it clicks doesn't mean the contacts are good) then trace the wiring on both sides of the locking unit to see if you can find a damaged wire.
Once you have the wiring diagram for the locks in your Accord, you can see which wires you can use to send current directly to the door actuators themselves. If you send a known good current there and nothing different happens, pull a door panel on the passenger side where you first noticed the issue with your door locks, and apply known good current to the door lock actuator itself.
If you have a solid lock/unlock cycle, then you need to look at the wiring between the lock actuator and the central locking unit. Remember, we already sent known good power to the door while bypassing the central locking unit, so we know the central locking unit isn't at fault.
If you don't get a solid lock/unlock cycle, then it is time for you to consider shopping for some 1996 Honda Accord door lock actuators. :-(
Beyond this, I don't know what to tell you. Electrical never seemed to be Honda's strong suit, so gremlins are to be expected from time to time. You may need to let someone who really knows their Hondas have a look at it.

I am having to make a decision about whether or not I stay in my relationship with my boyfriend of just over a year. To clear my head I wrote down the good points and the bad points. I just stumbled across this and had to wonder why nobody pointed this out simply: A greater percentage of the "BAD" things on your list are things that are your perceptions, or your insecurities.
Example: "I am jealous of him." = I would be happier with someone more mediocre.
With this in mind, and knowing that a little time has gone by, would you leave some feedback and tell me what happened?
It sounds as though you had almost a hatred for him. If that is accurate, then the best thing in the world would have been to free him to find someone who doesn't secretly loathe him.

I've been using this editor (Picasa 3)since around October
And everytime theres an update for it I update
But lately when I 'sharpen' my photos, it doesnt save the sharpen edit
Like I hit 'save' and after a few seconds once it done saving my picture reverts back to how it loooked after its been sharpened
But all my other edits stay
Help please?
I ALWAY sharpen my photos, so telling me not too is bull

To get the most accurate representation of how much Sharpen is actually being applied, you need to apply the Sharpen edit to your image at output size ( the size at which you'll share, print, export) while viewing the photo at actual size. Follow these steps:
Before editing, use the Export feature to resize all images to the size at which you'll share, print, or otherwise output.
In the edit room in Picasa, apply all edits other than Sharpen.
Zoom in to a one-to-one ratio by clicking the 1:1 button in the edit room.
Apply Sharpen as the final edit.
Save, share, export or otherwise output your images.

So I'm a little late but I just learned that Polaroid has stopped production of their instant film last year. I also just recently bought a Polaroid SX-70 Sonar Land camera for a project I'm working on.
I was wondering where would be the best place to get a lot of the film that the SX-70 uses or if another company is still continuing to make the film.

I purchased the CECT P168 recently & I'm not sure how to work things on it. there's no manual, and i haven't found anything useful online.
My questions are (any answers, even for 1 of the questions is GREATLY appreciated!!)
1. What type of music files can it play?
2. What type of video files can it play?
3. When sending a MMS message, how can you send an mp3 file? (it tells me it's too large, and i dont know how to make it bigger...so how would i go about doing that?)
4. Is there a way to change your text ringtone to something other than the ones they preset for you?
5. Can i download programs onto it? (And if you know what kind of programs, that would be great!)
6. What type of game files can it play?
7. How do I get an E-book on there? (Does it only play certain E-book files? because i tried to put one on and it said it couldn't read it)
8. Is there a way to get t9 english or iTAP english for the texting?

Good news: SO many people are having the same issues with the mostly Chinese manual for the CECT P168 that some folks got together and wrote a new, and apparently more helpful, CECT P168 manual... in English!

the problem now is, skype doesnt recognise it.. like it doesnt have the button/link 'video call'... otherwise, everything is fine, i can see myself on the computer etc. just that skpe doesnt recognise it.. i just dont know why..

Hi there,
Go into the skype settings and select your camera to enable it. Please also check the rest of your video settings while you are there for anything that is an obvious problem.
The person you are chatting with also has to agree to accept video from you, so that can be an issue. They will have to check their skype settings and see if they have it set up to accept video from people in their contacts lists.
Typically, with Skype anyway, you start a call as normal, then click the button/bar that is labeled: "Start my video."
If all of this fails, you will want to get ahold of the people who wrote the phone driver you are using to hook your cell camera phone up as a webcam on the computer.
They may not have updated it to work with the latest version of Skype. This should NOT be an issue, but you never know, so give it a shot if all else fails.

That is the main app I have found for this. There is a free trial, so you can give Mobiola Web Camera 3 a whirl with no obligation. This way you can see if it really does work to turn your Nokia 5320 camera phone into a webcam.

May I also suggest, if you haven't already, that you get a bluetooth connection going to your PC. That way you have the whole bluetooth mobile webcam thing going on and can be rid of the USB cables for your phone.
