I'm Almedina. I'm foreign, and I'm pretty much ready to handle whatever life throws at me. Ha, pretty random that I go from being foreign to life,but anyways. I've had this column for about two yearsnow, and I don't update it as I should, or want to but with school and this crazy teenage life of mine, it gets pretty hard to do so. I've been giving advice to all my friends since I can remember and I love trying to help them. I'm out going and extrememly loud once you get to know me. I'm usually shy at first unless I've gotten to know you. I don't understand life sometimes. But I've got my whole life to figure out the meaning of it. I'm selfish at times, and stubborn. I care too much about things I shouldn't and not enough about the MOST important things in my life. I'm very annoyed with people at times, and tend to just block everyone out. I'm afraid to say I'm in love, but I'm not afraid of love itself. I'm myself and that's all I can be. I've gone through a lot, so I'm willing to help in whatever way I can (:

Hi. My boyfriend, he flirts with other girls and does things right in front of my face, and sometimes he seems not to care, but then when we hang out he seems like he loves me more than ever, its really confuzing. Woah ! That's really immature. You shouldn't have to deal with this stuff, because your boyfriend should be loyal to you or he's not worth your time. You have to talk about it with him becuase you can't just ignore it. I bet it hurts to see him do that. If he doesn't care then he ovibously doesn't care much about you. Yeap I deffintly know who this is, lol. Well babe if you like him a lot then go out with him. I know it's kinda hard because you're scared of getting hurt, but I guess you should need to find out if you can trust him enough to be able to get over your fear. It's illegal. Yeah I'm pretty sure there are a million other guys around your age that you can date. He could be out of college yet and you could still be a sophmore. You may think it's "cool" because he's older, wiser, many even more expriernced in some areas, but I can doubt that he really likes you. Just tell him. If anything happeneds it'll likely be that he likes you back but didn't have the guts to say it first. But if he doesn't like you back then no worries. Just don't act weird around him afterwards or he'll feel in an awkward position.

Talk to her! That's really the only best thing to do. Try prooving to her that you are responsible enough to be on your own for a couple of hours. And if she's still worried about you ask her whenever you go shopping to like the mall or somewhere if she can go to a different store while you are at a different store. That way she will be in the area but not right behind you every minute ! Good luck.

You're just flirting with your best friend. Now if you show no feelings toward your best friend then there's no problem. If it's just an inside joke then it's fine but if you truly mean it or have ever thought about doing it with him, I guess you can say, then maybe you have feelings toward him that could get in the way of your relationship with your boyfriend. You can say it's both wrong and not wrong. Wrong because he's a guy and you were flirting but not wrong because it's just an inside joke. My sister and I are seriously wondering if our mom has some mental illness or something. Every day she gets pissed off about something and screams at us about it, threatening to do something in order to make us do stuff. Pretty much, she fights with at least two out of us three [my dad, my sister, and me] about something.

She's OCD about us getting good grades and not wasting time playing sports. One minute shes all happy and fine with us playing sports, the next minute shes all screaming at us about how we spend too much time playing and not enough time doing hw and studying. Plus she hates how we go online, saying that the internet is sucking us in and shes tried numerous times to rip out our internet connection or break out computers.

When we have guests or shes on the phone, she can immediately go from angry to all sweet and polite and stuff. And she screams on the phone so much! She calls us while my dad's driving us to school every day for pretty much no reason and always leaves screaming voicemails if we dont pick up the phone, saying how we're purposely ignoring her and stuff when we either just forgot to turn the phone on or were busy with sports or something.

When we fight, she always says how she wished we weren't born [my sister and me.. mostly me], and how if she knew that i would turn out the way i was, she would have choked me to death after i was born. She probably did that out of anger, but after saying that pretty much every other fight we have... ones gotta wonder.

She also thinks we're like conspiracing against her or something. She's always yelling how she knows we all hate her and want her to die. And shes always saying how shes going to divorce my dad and go back to her ex-husband whos still waiting for her or something. She also goes on and on about how she knows we're just trying to provoke her and make her angry and make her die 'at a young age'. it's just like... are you a little too paranoid? I don't even know if paranoid is the right word.

She gets angry so easily and when shes mad, she starts ranting on and on to some invisible person [or herself]. Shes prone to violence and doesn't hesitate to destroy stuff in her anger. who knows how many dishes and whatnot she's shattered and that folding chair she broke... we think she might be mentally ill, but we're not exactly sure what or how... or if shes just.. like permanently PMSing or something...

I'm just wondering if anyone has any slight idea about if she might be mentally ill or something, and if so, with what? We've checked and figured that she doesn't have multiple personality disorder and isn't bipolar.

Please Please help. Her tirades and rants are ruining our family and driving my dad, my sister, and me crazy.

One thing is for sure - your mom needs professional help, and the sooner you get it for her the better her chances are of becoming normal again.

She seems to be under a lot of stress and it seems like for the most of it, that she just wants you and your sister to do good in school. Some parents think that sports will get you no success in your life, which is not entirely true. Maybe she's just stressing out a lot about the whole school work thing because she wants you guys to grow up and become someone. It could be that she didn't have such a great future when she was younger and she just doesn't want you guys to go through all of that.

If she gets pysically emotional then that's not good at all. She could hurt herself or someone she loves very much. You should talk to an adult about this. Talk to your dad and see if you guys can get her some kind of professional help because if you don't this could cause emotional depression for the entire family. Something is seriously wrong with your mom, and I don't mean that in a rude way, but in a way in which if she doesn't get help she might regret something later on.

I feel really bad for what is happening with your family. Getting her profession help is the best solution but really "there's so much you can do and then there's God." Good luck babe and don't worry so much everything will be alright! :]

Ebay is real. They just sell stuff that has been bought already or used for a cheaper price. They don't really scam you well at least not from what I've heard. My friends have used Ebay before and it's good. I personally wouldn't use it but that's just me. :]

I`m pretty sure you knew what would happend while having sex unprotected. Having him use a condom in the middle of sex will not decrease your chances of you becoming pregnant. But just talk to your mom about it. I`d say have your mom talk to your dad about it because dads can usually be a little more dramatic about this kind of stuff. If you have missed your period then yes take a test, but even if you haven't, still take the test to be sure. If the test is positive, talk to your parents and with the kid's parents too. Then decided if you are going to keep the child or not but it also depends where you live because some states won't let you have a abortion anymore. Good luck.

If you like someone & you're sure they like you back then why not wait. But if you keep waiting and you notice nothing has changed move on because he's just making you wait because he knows you will. You should really think it over. See which one you have more fun with, which you can be yourself around, etc. I can't just tell you go out with one because it's not my decision. You have to really listen to your heart about this. Make a good choice. I would personally stay with the one that you would regret not having.
