The kind of straightner i use is by revlon (its white)It works really well and i look gorgeous in a half hour or less. You can get it at target or marshal feilds. It is like $30 i think, not expensive but not so cheap its fake. And if you want to try curls (unless you already have curls) try Hot Tools curler about the same as the straightner. Frizz ease spray works the best they have a whole line of hair care it works great. Its also at marshal feilds and target and such. Not expensive neither
Chech my profile cause i'm cool

DancinCutie08 answered Friday March 17 2006, 6:20 pm: well i think the best straightener for your money is helen or troy. its only $30 and it works just as well as a chi but for 1/3 of the price but it doesnt work like a curling iron like a chi can. mn731 answered Friday March 17 2006, 6:12 pm: The BEST hair straightener out there is CHI. I'm not even kidding--It's the best-It's my life! lol Seriously, CHI is the best.
Also, I'm not sure about sprays; But I use this purple serum called Catwalk (You can get it from Trade Secret//or Tony & Guy//or Ulta) You put it in after you take a shower, blowdry, and ta-daaa....PERFECT, SILKY hair. (It also protects your hair from any kind of heat--blowdryers, straightening irons)
No kidding--It's a Godsend. :) [ mn731's advice column | Ask mn731 A Question ]
LM answered Friday March 17 2006, 3:26 pm: I've had three straighteners.. I have Remington Wet2Style and i find it straightens jsut as well as the really expensive, gold-plated one my stylist uses. (and it stays straight for as long as you keep your hair dry, and wont re-curl in mild to moderate humidity!! always a plus!)
As for protective sprays or whatever, I use Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum =). There's entire haircare lines that you could get (shampoo, conditioner, serum, spray, hairspray) that you could easlily get for about $100. And it's differnt for every hair type, so I'd ask your hairdresser what she recommends.
isis answered Friday March 17 2006, 1:26 pm: GHD are the best I've ever tried and I have REALLY curly, frizzy hair. The GHD hair serum is also excellent and a product called Nexus. You just have to be careful not to take too long with each piece of hair you're straightening, as the GHD's do get very hot and you can burn your hair. [ isis's advice column | Ask isis A Question ]
x0oOHUGSNKiSSES answered Friday March 17 2006, 12:40 pm: one of the best straighteners is that wet/dry one. after you get out of the shower or whatever, you can straighten your hair right then. i have one and it works great.
x_mystery answered Friday March 17 2006, 11:01 am: CHI hair straighteners are supposed to be the best.
And I use a protective spray of the Redken brand, you should be able to find it at your salon for about 15 bucks. The only downside is that it smells like tree sap until you straighten your hair, the blowdryer doesn't get rid of it. [ x_mystery's advice column | Ask x_mystery A Question ]
xOalmaOx answered Friday March 17 2006, 10:08 am: The best kind of straightner that I know of is the CHI ones. I've heard the spray ION is good too but I'm not sure. [ xOalmaOx's advice column | Ask xOalmaOx A Question ]
