one of the best straighteners is that wet/dry one. after you get out of the shower or whatever, you can straighten your hair right then. i have one and it works great.

well i pretty much am totally confused about my family right now. okay this is gonna be like confusing but I hope you guys can help me out ! if not its fine because i understand, this is way hard.
okay well last year, my dad moved down to lousiana to take a really good military job(my parents aren't divorced he just said this was too good of an oppurtunity to pass up)so he's been down there for a while now and he comes to visit every now & then and we come to visit. but he has a different story every time he comes it's either 'we're prob. not gonna move' or 'we prob. will move' honestly im soo sick of it ! i just want to know. and i really don't want to move, at all. i have alot of friends here & a boyfriend and idk what i would do if i had to leave it all =(
i know you guys can't really help, but do you have any idea what i should say to my dad about not wanting to move ? i don't want to hurt his feelings but i'm afriad if we don't move, he would have to find a job here and we wouldn't be as financially stable, so it's super hard.

I am thirteen years old and I have two dogs and two cats. As much as I love my dogs right now, they are very old and they cant run or play or anything. Ive always wanted a small dog of my own but my parents say I cant have one. Should I keep on trying to get them to let me have a dog or should I lay off?
ok. i had the same problem. i had to wait it out awhile before i eventually got one but here's somethings that helped. you need to tell your mom you will be responsible with the new puppy just like you were with your older ones. but, i would lay off for a month or so.. maybe ask sometime around your birthday :)

Thank you guys so much for all the advice about scott, i realize you guys are right, i need to no let scott walk all over me and take me for granted all the time. ok well i saw him for the first time friday after school...it was werid he looks so different..i only stayed for like five minuntes tho..well he still hung out with Vita ( the ex) on saturday. he called me last night and i asked him how it was and he said it was boreing and she gained like 10 pounds...but since friday he's been acting really weird and i have no clue why and he wont tell me why hes acting like that...when i saw him friday i knew i really loved him i mean REALLY! and i dont know why hes acting so weird i am scared hes going to dump me....i dont know what to do..i feel like he never talks to me he never tells me how he feels and that hurts....i mean i know no matter what i saw scott is going to do what he wants to do reguardless of what anyone says..it sucks because i feel like i cant even talk to my own boyfriend...so yeah..leave some love!
well maybe you should let it go .. it might not be anything big just something that is going on with his ex; like a family problem, but if it keeps going for a while keep trying to talk to him & if he walkes all over you he`s not worth keeping around, don`t ever let a guy treat you like that & if he hangs out wtih his ex`s i mean just be careful .. and make sure he's not messing around or anything !

i think you should still talk to him about it .... if he doesnt feel the same way about you then it wasnt meant to be ... talk to him and if he loves you he will tell you the truth ..

Ohkay well i am also very shy, but i can also be very outgoing at times. You could try getting involved with sports for the school, and/or groups the school has for its students, that way you can get used to being around people and get to know how to communicate better with them !

Hey people if u could help that would be great. Well you see i was going out with this girl and she really liked me. I really liked her too and soo we went on a kind of date not really we pretty much just hung out but it didn't go as well as i thot it would. And by the way this was on a friday. Anyways i was kind of worried because she didn't call me all weekend and i didn't have time to call her. So today when i went to school she wasn't really talking to me and she even seemed kind of mad. So then today after school i called her and I asked her if she was mad at me and she said no but she thinks we should just be friends. In the inside i was really upset but i said that i thought that was a good idea and i was thinking the same thing but i deffinently was not. She was happy that i wasn't mad or upset but i really am upset. What should i do?????
my advice to you is to talk to her about it ... like get together with her and talk one on one ... not on the phone because she could cut you off ... together both of you in the same room ... talk and if she doesnt want to say anything or tell you what is wrong ... there was no need to be with her anyway because to have a good relationship with someone you HAVE to talk to eachother about your problems or whats bothering you ... so talk to her about it and if she doesnt want to talk then there was no need for you to like her in the first place

I used to really like this guy, lets call him Mike, and I was totally obsessed with him. I went to summer camp during July, and He was there, (he lives close to me) At summer camp, he flirted with me NON-STOP! Like he would run up and grab my hand, and throw paper cups at me, and try to push me into the pull, and stuff. But recently I have relized he is an immature child, and I dont like him. But....I dont know, he was like my first REAL crush, i liked him for eight years. (im 15 now) Now that he is crushing on me (and he told my freind he was) I dont know what to do!!! Because when he flirts with me its kinda like i like him a little, but when i dont see him i really dont like him at all!!!! I dont know what to do.
BTW, HE IS STALKING ME!!! He is everywhere i go, we go to the same church, anywhere i go, he is there. We were at camp togeather, and EVERYWHERE i went at camp, he was like 15 feet away, and we have a HUGE camp. He offers to take me home after bible study and church and stuff, and if anyone else offers before him he gets really mad. OOHH AND! at camp, he made out with some girl, so i dont really trust him.

I've really been into yoga lately. Ive been seeing it done on tv & stuff. I swore to myself that it was stupid & i'd never do it but it looks like its really good for you and would help lose weight and gain flexibility. hi. ok im going into 7th grade and i NEED a straightener. like you dont understand how hott i look when i use one (at my cousins house) and how GROSS i look when i dont! so the problem is, i asked my mom if i could buy one-WITH MY OWN MONEY and she was like no! its dangerous and you dont need it! i was like "im very responsible when i use them at *cousins name*'s house!" she was like well see ill talk to your father! so if they says no, what are some things that i could say so that they would reconsider?!
the same thing happened to me ... my sister had a straightener and i wanted one really really bad ... i promised my mom that i would use it 90 percent of the time so she agreed ... and now i use it like everyday ! i dont know if that works for you or if your mom is like mine but you could always try it !!

if you want to learn more about sororities ... get online or call a college and find out yourself ... i can tell you that a sorority is an all girl thing ... they live in houses with a house mother ... which is kind of like your away from home mom and she takes care of you ... makes sure you are to dinner ontime and stuff like that ... i know that isnt much help ... but i hope it helped a little
