straightener
hi. ok im going into 7th grade and i NEED a straightener. like you dont understand how hott i look when i use one (at my cousins house) and how GROSS i look when i dont! so the problem is, i asked my mom if i could buy one-WITH MY OWN MONEY and she was like no! its dangerous and you dont need it! i was like "im very responsible when i use them at *cousins name*'s house!" she was like well see ill talk to your father! so if they says no, what are some things that i could say so that they would reconsider?!

Well, mine has an automatic shutoff. So if I wre to leave it on for more than an hour, it would just turn off. Also, mine has plastic s it can't burn me. Lastly, it's wet to dry and ceramic, so it doesn't burn hair no matter what. Target has a good selection.
EDIT:Yeah, totally. It's the Remington Wet 2 Straight, but they might have spelled it differently. Mine is like 1.5 inches, but they make bigger ones!!!! xoxo

this may sound funny but it works...i have really long hair and use a iron ..its real easy..flip yoru head over and brush it and hold a towel before your hair and use the other hand to iron your hair

the same thing happened to me ... my sister had a straightener and i wanted one really really bad ... i promised my mom that i would use it 90 percent of the time so she agreed ... and now i use it like everyday ! i dont know if that works for you or if your mom is like mine but you could always try it !!

Well if they won't let you use a straightener, then theres one more thing that you could do if you wanted to without disobeying them.
What I tried once was after i got out of the shower, I put in some mousse and then using a paddle brusah, dried it straight. My hair was even striaghter than when I straighten it with an iron!!
If you really wanna use the straightener, go to the hairdressers and do whatever with your hair then ask about striaghteners. Then say that your mom thinks they ruin your hair and the hairdresser will probably say it won't ruin your hair if you get the right striaghtener becaus my hairdresser usually striaghtened mine after she cut it. Then have the hairdresser talk to your mom. Hope this helps!!<3

tell your mom and dad its your hair not theirs its your money not theres also if they still say no be like your have to understand ive used them alot before every one uses them plz mom come on and stuff like that n if they still say no i guess hide it from them or try and work it out like a deal or something
