Just tell him. If anything happeneds it'll likely be that he likes you back but didn't have the guts to say it first. But if he doesn't like you back then no worries. Just don't act weird around him afterwards or he'll feel in an awkward position.

this exact thing happend to me!
all you need to do is take him somewhere away from everyone and just tell him how you feel and who knows he might like you to , but if you never tell him how you feel you might not ever have a chance. So just go for it!
