well i was wondering if ebay was real like do they take more money then there ment to and do they take the money adn not send the thing that you bought are they scammers or is it realy please tell me :):)
Ebay is the real deal, you buy something you get something. But the kicker is that since ebay is just the site it really has no control on how fast you get the item and how much you pay because that is up to the individual you are buying it from or recieveing payment. When you purchase an item it is up to you to make sure you get it and it is to your satisfactory, if you never get an item or its broken there are refund days on most and if you cannot get a hold of someone you an contact ebay and they will take action on the person. But ebay is great, I myself by from them maybe once a week or more depending on what I am looking for. Just remember read the persons file and see what remarks people have made about their business dealings.

Each thing listed on eBay is by an individual like you and me sometimes it's a retail store too. Some people give you your monies worth and others do not. The best way to check on someone you wish to buy from is to check their feed back. If they have a lot of negative feedback I'd read what the problems were with this person. If it sounds like they are not responding to their customers or being fair in their treatment, I'd stay away from them. You would probably be treated as badly as the last person. If they have a lot of good comments than chances are good you will have a good experience with them. Also, when purchasing from eBay always check what the shipping is on the item listed. I've used eBay to sell stuff myself. For the seller eBay is expensive and it can be difficult to make money. The higher the original listing price the more eBay gets. So, what I use to do is start the bidding at $.99 because it would cost me the least. I'd then put what I wanted for something into the postage and hope that people would at least bid up to what the postage would cost me. For example: I have a T.V. and I want $100 for it. If I started the bid at $100 eBay would take $55.00 of that. In order to keep that from happening I'd start the bid @ $.99 which would cost me $.55 no mater what the final bid was. I'd make the postage around $100 or $125 to make sure I covered what I wanted for it and the cost of shipping. The reason I am telling you this is because when you check the price on something you have to make sure you also check the postage. The deal might not be as great as you think because the merchant may have put their cost into the postage as well. eBay can be a lot of fun, so, I wish you luck in your adventure!

You'll find a lot of people selling in bulk so you get a lot more for your money. eBay doesn't scam you. If someone on eBay tries to, eBay will try to help you out and fix the problem. Kind of like Advicenators! There are moderators that run the site and keep everything going smoothly and fairly and you report any problems to them. Then there are all the people that use the site, interact with each other, and try to get good things out of it. It is very uncommon for people to get scammed and just as long as you read everything you'll be just fine. I've never had a problem with it before. I think it's a great way for people to buy and sell things in a very cost effective and time effective way. There are both used and new items and it always specifies. If something you want isn't sold in your area, you can get it for cheap and sent right to your door through eBay. I think it's a wonderful thing and more people should use it! They don't really scam you well at least not from what I've heard. My friends have used Ebay before and it's good. I personally wouldn't use it but that's just me. :] [ xOalmaOx's advice column | Ask xOalmaOx A Question ]
