Okay so i go to a small high school i'll be a senior, and i hang out with this group of people and i mean we're all really close, and it's really weird cause theres i'd say about.. 50-60 of us, but we all hang out at school at lunch together and take up this big spot and everything. Anyways there's guys and girls. I really want to have a birthday party this year i'll be turning 17. because i didn't do anything for my 16th really and i haven't ad one since like 6th grade. but i was just wondering if anyone had any ideas on what to do with so many people. my friend had her 16th bday at this big hotel room thing..like whats downstairs..and there was a dance floor and a dj and food and stuff. so i dont really want that. i would just feel bad if i didn't invite some people cause we're all like best friends..and thats what makes it hard. 50 best friends? whaatt.. i mean i have ONE BEST BEST friends, but everyone else is pretty much the same. any ideas?

Man this is a toughie. I was gonna say 'barbeque' straight away but your birthday is in November which means the weather is likely to be crummy. Unless you wanna move your birthday party forward (which might be a good idea) you'll have to find somewhere inside that can fit all your friends. You could always go down the old 'disco' style party route, or if you had a friend with a huge house you could have the party there. as long as you make it 'by invitation only' you could invite all your mates and keep out any undesirables. Well, i hope that was SOME help, but if you do go for a bbq and move the party forward sens me another question, cos me and my girlfriend are doing one and have been planning it forever.

I started a relationship with a man that I'm mentally fascinated with. He is well educated and very articulate, which is what attracted me to him. We were together for about a month when I busted him cheating. Now, two months later, I have told him I forgive him and still want a relationship with him but he is lukewarm. He "says" that he doesn't know what to do/say to make things better between us, but I've told him countless times that I'm not worried about him cheating on me again. His response, "Nothing is certain but death and taxes." My brain tells me that if he could say that to me, he doesn't care about making things right. I really hate to be the bearer of bad news but it sounds to me that he may not be seeking to make things right. If he cheated on you after only a month then it seems that he is not looking to build a working relationship with you, and his recent responces seem so flippant. If he's willing to be that nonchalant about such an important issue then maybe he really doesn't care about you the way you hope he does. He should be seeking your forgiveness, not letting you forgive him. It seems that trust is important to you, and if he's broken your trust so quickly then maybe he doesn't deserve your fogiveness, admirable though it is. Sorry to be so blunt, I hope it all works out.

What do you do when you loose respect for the ones you love most ?
Man, it sucks that you even have to ask this question, and i sucks even more that i cant give you a straight answer. One of the worst things i ever found out is that love and repect for a person doesnt elevate them like it should, they are still mean and petty and hypocritical. When it comes to sex you have to realise that NO-ONE is adequately prepared to deal with the issues is thows up and the fact that you are seeking advice is a good start. I know i haven't helped much but all i can say is try and keep the faith- and try to find out which people are DESERVING of your respect, despite their flaws. Those who judge or have double standards don't sound like good candidiates.

Postcards baby! Anything sent in the mail is instantly personal, but if your careful you can keep it indirect. In fact, lots of written commmunication is like that, notes and cards are a good way of staying in touch. Also, and this is kinda long-winded, but if you see something you think he'd like or use but might not of thought of then get it for him. If a present is well thought out it can really brighten your day and make you remember someone. As an added plus, if he's a nice guy (and I'm sure he is) then he'll want to do the same stuff for you to say thanks, so you have an excuse to see him again! Peace out.

Dude, it probably just the skins pigment- eveybodys' is different. However the foreskin IS a trouble area some times so go see your doctor about it and he can set you straight. I guess its possible depending on how serious/deep these 'scratches' are. I'm not sure about any other possible explanations for the bleeding but i have got some advice. alright so my boyfriend and i started having sex; we've been together awhile and i completely trust him. We're 17.. still too young for children. I'm not sure how this works in the US (in England where I live the legal age of sexual consent is 16, so you wouldn't have a problem) but I'm still pretty sure that if you go and see your doctor and ask for advice on birth control then they will maintain patient confidentiality and not tell your mother. That said, even if that isn't the case you NEED to start using protection immediately, and I'd recommend a pregnancy test. Seriously, getting pregnant is NOT something you want to mess around with, and you need to start using protection, condoms, whatever- straight away. Be safe.

I have an appointment tomorrow to get a tooth extracted. I'm a little nervous about the whole process because of course, the doctor told me "It's not going to hurt at all." Lets be honest, don't all doctors say that about EVERYTHING? For those of you who have gotten that procedure done, about how long did it take? How much did it hurt after the novicane wore off? How long does the pain last after the surgery? And does any one have any tips on making it not hurt as bad? Thanks so much!
Here's a bit of additional advice- when you leave surgery don't eat or drink anything till all the painkillers/ aenesthetic has worn off- i did that when i had a tooth pulled and went maybe a minute before realising that my mouth was so numb i was dribbling like a goon all down my chin.

my daughter has just had her parent teacher evening in school and a few things came to my attention, they have been monituring my daughters behavior and said that she has been diagnosed with ADHD. all this was done without me knowing a thing. is this normal? my daughter and i both feel this is unacceptable but were not sure if thats the way it happens.. so is anyone else been in this situation?

I agree with Siren Cytheria, ADHD is a medical condition and can only be diagnosed by a doctor,or better yet a trained child psychologist- not a school. Also you should have been informed from the get go if they are monitoring your child for an apparent 'medical complaint.' They are definately in the wrong here, and i think it sounds like angry letter time.

Hi. I am 13 years old and I am on the computer a loottttt. All of a sudden things started blanking out when I was on the computer. You know how if you stare straight you can still see things on the right and left of you? Well on my left eye, I cant really see anything to my left when I'm looking straight. Its like blurry. And if I focus on something for example this word....dog.... if I focus on the g the d a o dissapear and then theres only a g with a white backround there. Basically when I focus on anything everything around disappears. And when I stare straight I cant see my arm. Its just not there. But it really is I just cant see it. So, I cant really see anything unless I focus on one thing. And if I watch tv and for instance if I see a face, I cant see their body. Its really weird, and Its hard to explain. Do you think I'm going blind? If I went to an eye doctor what would they do? This is VERY scary and its really freaking me out! Help me please!!! This has never happend before.
I can think of three things it might be:
1. You need prescription glasses, go see your optician (has it been happening for a while?)
2. You' ve done something (maybe sport) to expand the blood vessels in your eye, which can have the symptoms you describe (although it goes away in a coupla days).
3. You're gonna get a migraine in the not too distant future- the symptoms you describe are EXACTLY what happens before i get a migraine.

It could be a sort of cyst- this is where a slight infection fills with fluid to form a lump. The head is apparently a fairly common place to get them. If it is a cyst then your doctor wil know exactly what to do- if it is fairly small then they'll probably leave it, or they may drain it if they feel the need.

I have a Zig Fighter jet that has been very reliable until recently. Just yesterday my air-conditioner belt broke and I had to replace that. And for the past few weeks it has been sputtering just before I hit Mach-8..and it drinks the gas horribly; you all know how much jet fuel costs these days, its crazy. Is there any way I can fix this or make it more efficeient? Should I just get a new jet?
Sounds like fan belt trouble to me. Does it squeak a bit when you hit the afterburners? What about when you turn the lights on in the cockpit? Try disconnecting stuff like the cigarette lighter/vulcan cannons/door lights, and if the fuel consumptions goes down, its the fan belt.

First of all, sorry but i'm NOT writing a poem for you. I can help you a little though. First of all, you seem to have a lot of stuff you want to get across, and you dont want the tone to get confusing, so select that first. Do you wanna be funny, or sarcastic, or caring or mysterious? Start by making a point or an observation about what you like about him. Pick something you like physically (but not a cliche)
Then contradit it with the other stuff- remember to keep a good rhythm- if a line is to long then
break it up. Watch
how I'm trying to do it here.
DONT make it explicit you like him, but make it obvious in the tone of the poem. Here, I'll write one (for a girl) and you see if you like it, then nick stuff from it.
