Zig Fighter
I have a Zig Fighter jet that has been very reliable until recently. Just yesterday my air-conditioner belt broke and I had to replace that. And for the past few weeks it has been sputtering just before I hit Mach-8..and it drinks the gas horribly; you all know how much jet fuel costs these days, its crazy. Is there any way I can fix this or make it more efficeient? Should I just get a new jet?

it sounds like you need to go get it a tune up if it is using that much gas and while you are going to get it tuned up you should ask them what else it could be.

Don't mess with it. Go to the lot and pick you out a new one. Sputtering is not good, could cause abrubt stop....very, very, bad for the pilot. You better buy a new one.

Sounds like fan belt trouble to me. Does it squeak a bit when you hit the afterburners? What about when you turn the lights on in the cockpit? Try disconnecting stuff like the cigarette lighter/vulcan cannons/door lights, and if the fuel consumptions goes down, its the fan belt.
