Zig Fighter I have a Zig Fighter jet that has been very reliable until recently. Just yesterday my air-conditioner belt broke and I had to replace that. And for the past few weeks it has been sputtering just before I hit Mach-8..and it drinks the gas horribly; you all know how much jet fuel costs these days, its crazy. Is there any way I can fix this or make it more efficeient? Should I just get a new jet?

it sounds like you need to go get it a tune up if it is using that much gas and while you are going to get it tuned up you should ask them what else it could be. ]
Don't mess with it. Go to the lot and pick you out a new one. Sputtering is not good, could cause abrubt stop....very, very, bad for the pilot. You better buy a new one. ]
dont mind me asking, but whats a Zig Fighter jet?? =/ ]
Sounds like fan belt trouble to me. Does it squeak a bit when you hit the afterburners? What about when you turn the lights on in the cockpit? Try disconnecting stuff like the cigarette lighter/vulcan cannons/door lights, and if the fuel consumptions goes down, its the fan belt. ]
