about

I'm Christina, and I'm 27. I tend to be brutally honest when I give advice or an opinion. I don't tell people what they want to hear but rather what they need to hear. They don't always appreciate it at first, but I usually get a thank you in the end.

I have 15 tattoos, and 8 piercings. I'm married and just gave birth to a baby boy in May. I'm currently a SAHM so you can find me taking care of my son and binge-watching television while he naps.

You could try posting WANTED ads in the newspaper. Surely if someone sees it, they'll give you a call for you to come and check it out.

I'm not sure about any websites, but I'm sure the newspaper would probably be a pretty decent advantage.

I have an env2 and i keep getting prank calls from a number.. how do i block them from calling and texting me.. oh and my service is verizon if that helps

You would need to go the nearest Verizon store & ask them about it. Chances are they should be able to do it, but please do not be shocked if they cannot.

Sometimes all they can do is change your number, and if that's what it takes, I'd do that & try to be really careful about who you give your number to and where you post it (MySpace, Facebook, AIM, etc).

Anyone can get your number if you post it publicly for all to see, so just be careful next time.

my cat ran away and im extreamly upset about it have any advice, to sorta get over it ??

Instead of trying to just "get over it," I would go try & find your cat. Put up signs, put ads in the newspaper, maybe even have them broadcast it on the news (yes, some people really do that).

I would give it a while. If no one replies to your ads or signs, I would try to move on, but still keep a little bit of hope. Just try hard to find your cat before you completely give up on this.

This is your pet. I'm sure you wouldn't just "get over it" if this was family, so why when it comes to your pet is it any different?

i don't mean to laugh or smile when someone dies at all. it's sad, and i mean no happiness towards it. i just can't help but to laugh or smile, even if it's sad.
today, when i heard michael jackson died, it was really sad, and i felt bad, but ... i laughed ... and i have *no* idea why i react like this. i'm not heartless, but i'm just hoping it's a normal emotion / reaction, while others cry or get upset ... i just smile unintentionally. i don't think i'd last at a funeral.. i have no idea why i react like this.

I used to be that way, although when I laughed or smiled upon hearing of someone's death, it was a nervous reaction for me.

Some people use it as a way to keep from getting sad & as trying to keep positive. I think if you do go to a funeral though, you really need to restrain yourself from laughing/smiling because people more than likely will take it the wrong way. :(

How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck would chuck wood?

People keep saying this all around me, and I don't get it.

Some people say it like this:

How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck would chuck wood?

Some people say it like this:

How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

is there more to thsi or something? Is it from some movie about woodchucks or something? Why do people say "How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?"

Help! I feel STUPID because I don't understand!

It's just a tongue twister. Nothing special, and not an actual question.

Everyone knows that if it were, the answer would be that they would chuck all the wood in the world. :)

well i have broken up with this guy 3 times and now i am over him but he keeps on starinf at me and watching me with other guys does this means he still likes me.

he cheeted on me twice but he still wants me.
but i don't want him.

i am from australia

If you don't want him, then that's that. Be straightforward.

He's cheated twice, chances are he'll do it again. Do not take him back. Tell him you don't want him, tell him the truth about this, and everything will fall into place.

I'm glad you've moved on. Sometimes that's a very hard thing to do, especially in the circumstances where someone has cheated on you repeatedly, so kudos!

I hope you can be honest with him like you have been with yourself about this whole situation. Good luck!

"How many licks DOES it take to get to the center of the tootsie pop??"

Seems like all my friends are saying that lately, and I started wondering: Has anyone figured it out? Wish I was kidding, but I really want to know How many licks DOES it take to get to the center of the tootsie pop?!

I have tried doing it, but I never ever make it. Has anyone? Ever?

Driving me friggin insane!

I had a friend post a bulletin about this on MySpace saying his little brother took the time to count. His brother said it took about 1100-1200 licks.

But, like Jack & the other person below me have said, the world may never know & that everyone's tongue is different, so the results will always vary.

hey :]

all my life i've been born and raised in a christian household. My family have always been that way. I'm pretty open about it, but lately, alot of my "so called" friends have ditched me because of what i believe in. It got to the point where it would really bothered me but i figured that they aren't really my friends. But not to the point where i would harm myself. You sound like a bunch of smart people and i was wondering how you deal with problems like mine or hpw you think i should handle the issue.

It depends why they've stopped being your friend, in my opinion.

Have you been saying that your religion should be the only religion? That your beliefs are better, that everyone should cherish & idolize GOD for what he/she can do?

If so, you've obviously been pushing your beliefs on them & that can cause people to walk away from your life. No one wants something shoved down their throat, so if that's what you're doing, try to refrain from that. No one religion is right, and all religions have some type of flaw. Not everyone can follow the same religion, and some people tend to make their own version of a religion with views gathered from many different religions.

If you weren't doing any of that & they were walking away on their own & blaming it on your religion, that's a different story. That just shows that they're shallow & not someone you should associate yourself with anyways. Just make sure you're not pushing anything on anyone because that always make a huge difference when it comes to religion.

Are there any good fan sites for Michael Jackson?

I miss him greatly already and am really sad that he passed away today. I've always wanted to become some sort of fan member of Michael Jackson but I never took the time to sign up and express my love for his music and talents. I even feel sick to my stomach that I never took the time to see Michael Jackson in concert :(

So, yeah...anybody know how I can become an official fan member (I will even purchase a fan membership somewhere if possible) of Michael Jackson, the King of Pop?
THANX

I just went on Google & found a bunch of sites! :)

http://www.mjfanclub.net/

http://www.michaeljackson.com/

http://www.mjworld.net/

This last one has a whole list of fan sites you can visit:

There you go!

hey. well, i'm fifteen and i'm too young to have a real job yet lol. i'm working for my mom, earning 50 dollars a week. my question is, what are some things my friends and i can do, that are cheap, and are close by (in MA). my mom's not too good with driving me places, and she'd never take us to like six flags or anything because she wouldn't want to stay with us. i guess i'm just looking for ideas on fun stuff we can do besides walking around a mall with no money, or having people over and having nothing to do. i guess this is a really difficult question lol because without much money or a ride we're basically screwed. but can anyone give me any tips on something we can do? thanks!

Well, since you're making $50 a week, you're not going to the mall with nothing to spend. While it isn't much to be making, $200 a month isn't really all that bad for someone your age.

As for things you can do:

http://www.familiesonlinemagazine.com/teens/

That has a list of 50 things you & friends can do during the summer. :)

I personally suggest taking lots of pictures, getting them developed & making a summer scrapbook to just have your summer memories on file. :)

Has anyone seen Janet Jackson with the Jackson family today after Michael Jackson died?

Janet Jackson seems to be missing right now, or at least out of the picture in the media. What's up with that I wonder? I'm sure it must be devastating for her and I do hope she's in good health right now.

Just wondering if anybody has heard something from Janet Jackson so we know she's OK too! I figured she would have been on TV but I haven't seen her or anything...has anybody?

From what I heard, I believe she's in London. I went on Google to look if there was anything from her on his death, but this is all I found:

http://www.mutantweb.com/music/janet-jackson-on-michaels-death.html

I'm not exactly sure how legit that is, but that's all I could really find. As far as I know, La Toya was the only sister there.

But now that I've looked a little bit more, I found this:

http://news.spreadit.org/janet-jackson-on-michaels-death/

Again, not sure how much of this is legit, BUT it's something.

17/f.

i keep missing my period. :/ like its every other month. a lot of my friends have this problem too. but my mom keeps stressing me out about it!! she keeps saying if you don't get it by july 1st i'm taking you to the doctor, but i don't want to go. has this ever happened to you? do you know any possible reasons why i may be missing it? any information would be helpful.

I don't know how long you've had your period for, but I know that within the first few years it'll be irregular & should regulate itself.

I think stress is more than likely causing you to skip periods. You said your mom has been stressing you, and I'm sure school, friends, boys & other things have probably been a contributing factor as well.

If it doesn't clear up, you're going to need to see a doctor whether you like it or not. It's for your own good. They can tell you what's up, and maybe give you something to help. If they find it severe enough, they may give you a birth control to help regulate your period.

Please don't be nervous about going to the doctor. It's procedure & it's only for your health. :) I hope this gives some insight & I really hope you can get your period back on track. Being irregular & stressed can really suck. :( Nobody wants an unexpected period. Good luck!

I went to my OB today because I found out that I was pregnant last week at my 6 week check up (I have a 2 month old at home and another child under 1 year). My doctor asked me today why I refused birth control, although I already told them that birth control is against my religion. I repeated myself today and felt odd since I KNOW I had already explained this.
The doctor then nodded her head and said, "Well, that is just silly," in a very demeaning tone of voice. I was so offended I told her, "My faith is no laughing matter." I was just very upset and I still am. I need a doctor that will take me seriously.

I am not a government case, I am not an unmarried mother, and I am not on food rations or food stamps. If I want to have all of the children that God allows me to be blessed with then I don't understand the issue.

I am a mother and wife. I am also the daughter of very wealthy philanthropists who have provided myself, my husband, and our future children with the means to take care of our needs.

Why am I being judged when I can take care of any children I have, and why am I being judged when I want to have 15+ children? Should I switch to a doctor that will not pressure me to go against my beliefs?

You should absolutely switch doctors. Your OBGYN is not there to judge you based on religion and your decisions. They are there to help do what's best for you, your health, and your children's health. If you feel uncomfortable at your OB from that comment, switch. There's no need to stick around with someone who's going to be rude to you.

She's your doctor, not anyone else and should not be judging you for what you want/believe in.

I'm 17. I have tons of long, thick hair. I usually wear it straight. I love being so healthy looking and get complimented on it all the time.

I don't want it to really look thinner or anything but I want a change. I was thinking of getting layers and side bangs. Right now I just have long layers (and no bangs) but I would be getting lots of layers done if I did this. How would this look though since my hair is so darn thick? Would my hair still look thick and full or would it look thinned out or something?

They usually make the hair look thicker.

I had really long hair when I was younger (but I ended up cutting it). My hair was also very thick, and the hair stylist I went to said she would recommend that everyone with longer hair get layers because it's healthy for your hair.

The only way your hair would look thinner is if you asked them to thin it for you which they do with thinning shears. I think that if you do decide to get layers, start from about shoulder length & go down from there. I'm not sure how long your hair is, but shoulder length layers are good to start with. :)

You can get that done at Supercuts for a few bucks. I know it may seem like a tacky place to go to, but they usually do a really good job on my hair, and it's better to go there when you're on a budget.

Where will Michael Jackson be buried if he isn't going to be cremated? Anybody know? I'd like to visit Michael Jackson's grave site if possible.

The information about whether he's being buried or cremated isn't available yet. The family has asked for privacy on the matter, so who knows if it'll even be released. But be patient, he just died yesterday.

so, i'm 18/f. theres this guy i work with who's 24. and we've been kinda dating the past couple weeks. nothing serious or exclusive because i'm going to college 4 hours away in the fall and because my on & off relationship with my ex of 3 years ended again just a few months ago, so i'm not completely ready for something new, but we talk everyday, hangout, hug, kiss, basically act like a couple so i guess you'd just call it a casual thing. it started out with flirting at work and then facebook to texting to here we are.

but, sometimes the age difference kinda worries me. i'll be 19 before he's 25, and i know everyone says it but i am pretty mature for my age compared to some people. i realize he's older and farther in life... he's done the college thing, he's a marine, and he's been married [and divorced bc she cheated on him]. BUT at the same time we get along really well, and i have a pretty rough past with guys which he knows about, and he's assured me time and time again he'd never do something like that. he tells me he sincerely likes me and cares a lot about me and does things that show it. we're not having sex and won't be anytime soon so i'd like to think i'm not just a bootycall.

my mom knows about him and says to just be careful and make sure he's a good guy. my friends think there must be something wrong with him that he can't get a girl his own age and instead goes for an 18 year old.. but i'm sure he COULD get a girl his own age. a lot of girls closer to his age at work like him and i'm the youngest girl he's ever been into. i said i'd never date anyone over 21 MAYBE 22 but here i am. in a way i see where my friends are coming from but at the same time i don't want to just brush him off because he's a little older than me, especially when he's given me no concerns or suspicions about his intentions. i have a good head on my shoulders and know to be careful, my guard is definitely up [as it is with any guy] and any signs of strange behavior and i'm gone, but i'd like some advice from the outside world... any ideas?

I honestly don't see anything wrong with it. My boyfriend and I are 7 years apart. I'm 18 and he'll be 25 in July.

We started off as friends, and then moved forward from there. Now we live together. :)

I think that you're being very smart about this, and should just go with your instincts. Like you said, any funny business & you're gone. I wouldn't worry. You're fine.

What's the deal with Jon & Kate Gosselin!?
I heard something was up and their marriage was ending but I never got the story or the truth. Please tell. I don't know is reliable sources and I trust Advicenators to be honest with me.

They're divorcing. They announced it on Monday's episode and have recently went down to get the papers so that they can file.

The show will be continuing, but each parent will appear seperately with the children and will not be shown together as a pair.

i am tired of this life.i am a student.should i commit sucide? i dont know what to do...
nikhiladkar@yahoo.com

No, you shouldn't. Life goes on, and whatever your problem is, there will eventually be a solution.

Suicide is permanent. There is no coming back from it. See a counselor because I guarantee if you do, things will more than likely get better. Suicide isn't the answer though.

i am afraid to say to my mom and dad that i am bio-sexual

First off, it's BI-SEXUAL not bio-sexual.

It's always hard to come out of the closet whether you're gay, believe you're a trans-sexual or bi. Not all parents are accepting & some will actually shun someone or disown them because of something as small as sexuality.

Are your parents usually understanding? I think if they are, it'll make them telling them a little bit easier. If they're usually pig-headed about things, it'll make a bit harder.

I just also want to stress that you are completely sure about this. Most young kids today (not that I'm saying you're young, I'm not actually sure how old you are) will put the bi label on themselves but then change it when they realize they're actually not. Just make sure that you really are bi before you say anything about it because if it someday happens to change, there will be questions, so be 100% on this!

I think you should just tell them. Sit them down & tell them. It may take a bit for them to get used to, or it may not. Some parents will say "Oh, I already knew..." or something of the sort, but some are also shocked & don't know how to handle it. I would give them time after telling them, but I would just say it. There's no other way to do it.
