Hey, I'm not sure what catagory this really goes under but here goes..I just finished my job that I had for the first half of the summer, and made some really good friends who are all my age. One of the guys birthday is coming up in the beg. of August. We all want to hang out and we're using that as the reason haha. I think we're going to do something at my house, but I just want it to be relaxing, nothing too expensive, and nothing "cute"..it's a guy's birthday haha. I don't want it to be awkward and people to just be sitting around..so any suggestions for what I can do to make it a little more fun for everyone? (there are about 10-15 of us) Thanks so much!
You didn't mention your age, so I'm going to have to guess you're in your later teens?
Anywho...at my sweet 16 we had a pinata! I know it sounds dorky, but everybody actually really enjoyed it ;]
You can have that, and you can set up something a lot of people like, such as Guitar Hero. Or, you can have a scavenger hunt?
For more ideas:
Have fun!

Ok well theres this guy,"A", and I really, really like him. He is so sweet, funny, & attractive. I found out that he liked me!!! I was so happy, but it doesn't seem like he likes me and ask me out. I think he's flirting but just in case heres what he does:
1. I'm his top girl on myspace, even before his best friend thats a girl
2. He always talks to me on myspace, and even calls me on the phone
3. He invited me over to his house a couple times just to hang out
4. He always insults me, and i'm like awhhh ur meann, then he smiles
5. He has had only 2 girlfriends before, so i dont think he has a problem with asking me out, although he is a little shy
So, i just wanted to see is he really into me? & Is he going to ask me out?
thanks!
=D
My friend, Jack, answered the question "Does he like me?" and I think you'll find this helpful:
http://www.advicenators.com/qview.php?q=506340
From there:
"I'm going to give you a list of what guys tend to do when they like girls:
1. They don't call you "sexy". They call you "beautiful", "gorgeous", "amazing", etc.
2. They make an effort to hug you. They might high-5 instead, but it really depends on the guy in question.
3. They DO find any reason to touch you in some way. Mostly it ISN'T in a sexual way. Its more of just an excuse to remember what you feel like, I guess. Its hard to explain...
4. He is always smiling around you. If you're feeling bad and he's around- he'll be smiling because he knows that he's there to help you- and that's like brownie points for a guy if they can help a girl out. That, like the above, is hard to explain.
5. He'll tell you things about himself that he normally wouldn't tell everyone. He opens up to you. Guys don't get a chance to do that when pressured to "be manly".
6. If you have a feeling that a guy likes you- you're probably right. Guys aren't the best at hiding it- and girls are even better at figuring these type of things out.
If you like this guy- and he does all or most of those things- my best bet is that he does like you. That means one and only one thing: Ask him to make sure, and then try the relationship out. Who knows- it could be great!"
To me, it sounds like the guy likes you. We can't tell you if he's going to ask you out, as none of us here can see the future. But if you really like each other, why don't YOU ask HIM out. Guys like confidence in a girl, and there's no better way to show you're confident than asking him out!

Okay so, my mate is having a sleepover at her house, and me and 2 of my other friends are coming. one of my mates is a bit upset lately, so we're trying hard to make it extra fun to cheer her up - and so we can have a great laugh too!
It is in a tent. Outside. So nothing like dvd's or stuff, cos we don't have dvd players in tents - unfourtunately! Any way, does anyone have any ideas of things to do, or know any websites that have great ideas. Nothing too expensive - we are only teenagers after all! Stuff random, but girly.
Just incase it's needed to help plan a sleepover-
MY FRIENDS:
Hostest: Quiet, and doesn't really talk about boys much, shy. Not up for much dare-wise or singing etc...
Upset Fiend: Confident, also not really a 'he's so cut' type of girl. Quite girly, although not OTT with the girly stuff (by quite a bit) really looking forward to having a good time etc...
Other Friend: Again Confident, not boys boys boys, but more into guys than the others, quite girly (a little more than one above)up for a laugh etc...
Me: Confident, girly (not OTT) Into guys as much as 'Other Friend', up for a laugh etc..
Hope you guys can help :P
PS. i'm 13/f same as my mates :P
Thanks
- Manicures/makeovers! Do each other nails and makeup. This is always fun for girls to do.
- Make popcorn and tell ghost stories.
- Look at the stars and talk about boys ;P
- Read magazines.

okai, well i am goin up to my cottage next friday and i was suppose to get my period today but i havent yet and i am worried that i wont get it before we go on holidays , so what do i do at my cottage if i get it ? this will be my 4th time haveing my period and i am really scared that i am goin to get it at my cottage . what do i do ? becuase i REALLY dont want to use tampons
Well, you might not even get it until after your trip, or you might get it today and your period might be over before you go to your cottage.
If you're not comfortable using tampons, then don't. If you get it at the cottage, big deal. You shouldn't let your period ruin your vacation time. If you're going swimming, just tell whoever you're going with that you can't swim for personal reasons. And you should stop worrying, every girl gets their period and it's totally not a big deal =]

on my sikms 2 on ps2 i do not have try for baby i just have who hoo or i have cuddle or have anamble mojo what do i do.
The 2 Sims you want to try for a baby with need to have a REALLY high relationship. I'm talking like, 99 with each other on both lifetime and the other one. I don't play it on PSP, however, but your best bet is to keep getting their relationship up.
-Laura. (16-f)
What do you do when the person you like a LOT is talking to WAY prettier girls? Do you keep liking them and pursue them anyway? Or just give up? :(
Don't give up! And just because you think the girls are pretty on the outside, doesn't mean they're pretty on the inside.

"Life is WAY too short to not take chances and risks once in a while. Why sit around wondering what could've been, what would've been and what should've been, when you can answer all of those questions and then some by being honest and telling a boy how you really feel about him?"
If he's talking to other girls, there's nothing you can do. If you like him, however, there IS something you can do about it.

I have had a crush on my best guy friend since 5th grade (I'll be in the 11th grade next year)... We went to the Sadie Hawkin's Dance together last year and I don't know if I should ask him again or what because We had lots of fun and he was teaching me to dance... What should I do?
Ask him! Why wouldn't you!? Tell him you had a ton of fun last year, and you'd like to go together again this year.
And I think you should tell him you like him. Life is WAY too short to not take chances and risks once in a while. Why sit around wondering what could've been, what would've been and what should've been, when you can answer all of those questions and then some by being honest and telling a boy how you really feel about him?
Good luck =]

my boyfriend and i have been together for about a year. yet we havent really done anything. we are both mature and all, but im not sure. i like just talking to him more than doing stuff. we arent shy around each other or anything, he knows i never want to. but i feel bad for making him miss out. even though he says he's okay with it, he would just like to do more. eh :/ what do i do?
You don't have to do anything. You're not "behind". Just because you're not doing sexual things does NOT, by any means, mean that you're behind in your relationship. It is perfectly fine to have a relationship without sex or anything like that.
You shouldn't feel bad for making him "miss out", and he should understand that you don't want to do anything.

I have a big brother who's the type that never admits when he's wrong. In an argument, even if it's blatantly obvious that he's wrong, and even with other people in the room telling him that he's wrong, he will never admit it. He condemns me for trying to defend myself, and will even use hateful and hurtful words to try to win the argument. I try desperately not to let it bother me, but he gets me so angry and frustrated, I can't even get my words out correctly, and then he uses that to his advantage and brings me to my knees. I need help!
Don't argue with him. When he tries to start an argument with you, just say something like "Alright, that's your opinion and that's fine." and walk away. Don't say anything else, just ignore it and walk out of the room.
Either that, or when an argument starts, let him say everything he needs to say first. Let him get it all out, and stay calm. Don't interrupt him, and don't be mean about what he says. Just hear him out, and then voice your opinion. Just remember to stay calm, and if you start feeling angry, take a deep breath and count to 5.
Hopefully, he'll grow out of this stage soon and you won't have this problem much longer.

I know that at this point, not a lot of people know what they want to do, or what college they want to go to, but I would really like to start getting an idea.
I am very interested in the arts, you know? Theatre, music, art... but I know how unstable and risky jobs connected to those can be. You know? I dont want to be an aspiring actress or something going from audition to audition as my job.
I also like working with kids, handicapped, or elementary I guess.
I am very interested in psychology and the human brain, I wanted to be a psychologist or maybe a therapist, but I really don't know the difference too well, and would I have to go to medical school for that?
If any one has any job ideas they think I would be good for, any colleges with good programs that might work for me, or whatever you can tell me. Any answers are appreciated.
Thanks
Elise
Psychologists and Therapists are different, depending on what kind you want to be. I'm assuming you meant an occupational therapist, because it is similar to a psychologist.
A psychologist:
"Many psychologists work directly with clients or patients. They treat people with emotional or mental disorders, people who have problems with their spouses or families, people who have psychological problems linked to illness or disease, and people who have trouble adapting to school, work, or life events."
An occupational therapist:
"Occupational therapists (OTs) work with people who have physical, mental, emotional, and developmental problems. They help them to regain, develop, and build skills that they have lost, or sometimes, never had. Their goal is to help their clients lead independent, productive, and satisfying lives."
Education wise, the requirements are different:
For a psychologist:
"Psychologists have to be licensed to practice, and licensing requirements are set by individual states. All states require a graduate degree in psychology: either a master's degree or a doctoral degree (PhD, PsyD, or EdS), depending on your area of specialization. It takes a total of about 6 years to earn a master's degree (4 years for a bachelor's degree and 1 to 2 years for a master's degree). A doctoral degree takes an additional 4 to 5 years to complete.
After graduating, you must get a license to practice in your state. This usually requires passing an oral or written exam. In most cases, you must also work for several months or years under the guidance of a supervisor.
People with a bachelor's degree in psychology may work as technicians (often aiding in research or administering tests) under the supervision of a psychologist. However, there are not a lot of these positions available. A bachelor's degree in psychology does not qualify you for licensure in any American jurisdiction."
For a therapist:
"Until recently, the usual way to become an occupation therapist was to complete 1 to 2 years of undergraduate college education or the equivalent, and then complete a bachelor's degree in occupational therapy.
However, starting in 2007, anyone who wants to be an OT will have to complete a master's degree. As a result, any students not yet enrolled in an occupational therapy program should plan on completing a master's program. To get into a master's program, you will need to first complete a 4 year bachelor's degree, including specific courses in areas such as anatomy, laboratory sciences, and the social sciences.
OT programs include instruction in occupational therapy theory and skills, as well as physical, biological, and behavioral sciences. They also include periods of supervised, on-the-job experience."
I got all of this information from this awesome website, but the only problem if you need an account to access it: www.careercruising.com
I don't know if you can make a personal account or if it's just for high schools, but if there's any way to make an account, do it. It has a search engine for schools that specialize in the area you want to study and everything.
Good Luck!

2 things
when i shave my under arms it is never completely smooth and if it is then i can still sorta see the black hair under the skin, i guess its the best way to describe it what can i do?
and
the hair on my underarms and legs grows fast
like i need to shave every day to keep it 100% smooth but the most i can go is like 3-4 days in the summer. why is that and is there anything i can do besides waxing and lasers?
Make sure you're using a shave gel when you shave, and that after you get out of the shower or finish shaving you put lotion on.
Other than that:

I'm away from home this whole month, and my boyfriend's and my anniversary is on the 26th. I want to be able to send him something for our anniversary, like a guy would send a girl flowers. He likes flower's and I've given them to him before, but I'd like to give him something more manly. Balloons are nice but they don't last, so do you have any more suggestions?
You can send him a teddy bear or you can send him a mix cd. You can send him a picture frame with a picture of the two of you inside of it. You can also send him like, a video of you saying that you miss him and happy anniversery, etc. I hope this helps =]

I asked about limewire, but what about bearshare. is it legal? and if it is, what is the quality of using it?
I do not know if it it legal or illegal, but I ddidn't like Bearshare or Limewire. Limewire crashed my computer twice, and Bearshare was too complicated for me. I think you should just use iTunes like you're supposed to =]

like i know staying home 2 weeks outta the summer isn't gonna kill me but i'm starting to feel lonely hha so any ideas to keep my busy would be awesome! thanks =]
Start a new hobby.
- Learn to cook, read a book, write poetry, sing, etc.
Exercise.
- Go for a run, or do some yoga.
Clean and organize.
- Your room, or your closet if you dare ;]
Go outside and enjoy the weather.
- Get some sun, have a picnic, watch the clouds.
Hang out with siblings/parents.
- If you have siblings, spend time with them. You might not want to spend time with your parents, but it's always nice to talk to them.
Watch a movie.
- Or, rent all the seasons of your favorite show [or LOST just because it's the best show ever created] and watch them all day.
The possibilities are endless =]

I'm looking for a new digital camera. Yesterday my brother and I went to best buy to look at the olympus (forgot which model) but the new one that happens to be waterproof. I explained earlier, that I want a camera that takes good flash pictures, because my current digital camera takes beautiful outdoor/ sport pictures, but as soon as you step indoors to take flash pictures (it honestly makes you look disgusting) adding to that, it also has many different setting features (like portrait, outdoors, fireworks, sport, etc) but it really doesn't make that big of a difference, cause you still look bad in flash pictures. Anyways, I took flash pictures with the waterproof olympus and they look terrible. So my question is what camera would you reccomend getting if you wanted good flash pictures (not to exceed over $350 in price) Thank You! ps, please don't tell me to ask someone who works there, because they really didnt help much haha
Thanks
I just got this camera, and so far I really like the pictures it takes:
http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5715928
- It's not expensive, it takes good pictures, and it's small enough to put in your purse, etc. It also has different settings you can use when you're outside, inside, etc.
