What are some symptoms of shizophrenia? Is it hereditary? If so, how likely is it for the offspring to get it?
My father has Scizophrenia and i was wondering what the symptoms and statistics are so i know if i need to worry about it and what i need to look for. (link)

i have scizophrenia.
and just to let you know, i am still able to live a normal life.
symptoms are for example zoning out. lets say you stare at absolutely nothing for 10 minutes. and when u wake up, you forget where you are.
or.
when you are walking to class and you constantly look up and wonder why birds have wings. it sounds goofy but you cannot realize that you have it because it is from the brain.

my mom is thinking about getting a divorce with my dad. but my dad doesn't want to and he is trying to make sure my mom won't. my mom has been crying and she can't eat or she might puke and she can't sleep. she jus read a book called the the divorce express . she won't even sleep in the same bed as him. she sleeps on the floor in the living room. they don't even talk to each other anymore. i dont know what to do cuz i really dont want them to separate. i've been through the exact same thing.
Your parents want the best for you, and they dont want you to worry about them divorcing. it doesnt effect you, so you shouldnt worry about it. Your parents wouldnt want you to worry, they want you to focus on your OWN LIFE. and concentrate on work and stuff.
whatever goes on with ur parents, just know that everything happens for a reason. you cannot be in the middle of it. and maybe it is for the best.
my parents have been divorced for like 4 years now, and my dad lives 5 minutes away and comes home to visit almost every other day.
so try to think positive, and dont worry. live your own life. need help? let me know :)

well if you have a 2.8 than you probably have less of a chance to get into really hard schools like harvard, yale, standford, and so on. But if you say u are smart, think about it, are you artistic? creative? Find some school of the arts, or fine arts school, or stuff like that.
you can try to apply to northeastern. WHO KNOWS?

acne is caused by stress, and this might sound weird, but its true. Masturbation actually relieves acne. HAHA, hard to belive huh? But it is true. If you keep too much sperm inside of you, you will constantly have the idea on your mind, that u just wanna let it all out. So masturbation cannot harm you because it is known as a "safe sex practice"

I keep seeing stuff about it on TV and on the internet. and all I wanna know is how does anyone know when the world is going to end? because in the bible it says that only god will know when the world is going to end? and why would people make stuff up about that? some people may believe it and drop out of school or quit there jobs. it just doesn't make sence. Do people get joy out of scaring people? PLEASE help! I need answers.

i'll give u an explanation.
about a few years ago, some person came up with an idea about the world ending on 12/21/2012. and mixed with the fact that the mayan calendar ends on that date. but guess what.
the mayans have been dead for a shitload of time, so people shouldnt care about what the mayans think.
and also, they are making a movie coming out this year called "2012" starring john cusack.
the idea of the world ending on 2012 is just another way to market ideas and advertise it to the whole world. Just like how people market the death of Michael jackson. And if they are making a movie about "2012", obviously.....its not gonna be real.
so dont worry :)

it dont matter what the bible says- i think saying "only god knows when the world will end" is more threatening than "the world is going to end in 2012"...atleast the latter has a time frame so you expect it...they both are fiction.
now to the answer...the mayan callender ends at 2012...the mayans were wayyy ahead of their time with astrology. Some people reckon the calender ends because the world will end. Others just say that its because they didnt have the rescources to go further, etc.

I'm 17/f and a senior in High School. I'm a quiet person when I'm at school. I like to observe and take in what goes on around me rather than make exclaimatory remarks and be cute and flirty with the people around me. I'm not trying to be vain here but I am at least a decent looking mixed (black and white) human being but it seems that guys only look at me if I wear booty shorts and i fling myself in thier field of vision. I can't compete with these small petite blonde cheerleaders. I just don't want to spend my time in school talking about sex and giggling about things guys say when they aren't funny. I've expressed this before but my friends just say I'm stuck up. What do I have to do to let this 'competition' out of my head? First off, I know for a fact I'm not ugly or extremely pretty. I'm average. So I know this isn't cause I look funny.... I think...
Anyway, in English the class assistant, (an assistant is usually sophomore who had the teacher in the past at our school. I'm a freshman) is looking at me alot. He never really talks, but I catch him looking at me alot, usually when I'm laughing with the guy next to me and my other friends. He watches/eavesdrops long enough to know what's going on for sure I know, because I was making a face the other day that for SOME reason everyone loves. And I turn to look for the teacher, and my eye catches is, and I see him smiling a bit, watching me and shaking his head, saying "Oh my god..." playfully.
Does all this watching me mean anything good or bad? Is he just looking for enertainment in a relatively boring class/job and finds me to be a good source of it? (My friends always say I'm funny so it could be.)

there is this girl that i stare at ALOT. and to be honest, when she catches me staring at her, i dont stop staring. and she stares back and smiles.
this guy may be weird, but listen, guys have ALOT of ways to get a girls attention. which is what he is trying to do. i you have time, talk to him. approach him, dont confront him, if you know what i mean. make it seem very casual and be like "why do you stare at me?" Laugh, giggle, and smile. so it wont look like you are some kind of cop busting him for staring at you :)

For some reason I developed a massive crush on a teacher I had. She was young, attractive and really nice. I can't stop thinking about her, . I keep thinking she hates me or think I'm stupid, even though there's no proof of that, and I keep thinking she'll completely forget me and I made a fool of myself in my class even though I really didn't. The thoughts of her not liking or having a bad impression of me pain me so much,. I also find myself staring at her yearbook picture constantly and I feel miserable and mopey all the time. How do I get rid of this crazy infatuation? .I would never act on the crush don't worry about that. Don't tell me I need to get over it I already know that I just don't know how?

well if your are like a senior in high school and shes like 30 years old, than thats kind of strange.
but if shes only like 22, than thats reasonable. she might be only 4 years older, or maybe a little more. its nice and unique that you have a crush on your teacher. its very unique.
she might think your stupid because she only sees you as a "student"
when you are not in class, talk to her. try to find out ALOT more about her. and whatever happens, happens.

you know when you find a person and you just wanna hook up with them on the first day u meet them? so lets say you hook up with some random person at the movies, and then, u dont talk anymore.
when you are in love, its different.
you can tell by the fact that you probably asked for this person's fone number, and thought about calling him/her that day.
you get caught up in such a wreck that you forget EVERYTHING that doesnt have to do with that one person. you feel like you wanna risk it all just to be with him/her to make them happy.trust me, you will feeel it someday.

I naturally have a bit of a large chest for a girl of my body size (34c) Now I don't have a problem with having big boobs, but the dilemma is that I have stretch marks on them from growing so quickly between 8th and 9th grade. How can I minimize or better yet get completely rid of them?
I also have some light scars on them. You see, The pores on the skin on my breasts sometimes seem to be a little on the large side (in my opinion) and it looks like there is black heads in them sometimes. I've had a compulsion to pick things since I was a little kid (I have since learned to control this and stop), but as a result I would try and "pop" these black head things. I've pretty much stopped but obviously it left circular scabs around the black head areas which turned into light scars.
One of my biggest fears is going to have sex with a guy for the first time and him being grossed out by my breasts. They're really not that bad, but I envy girls with smooth skin in that area and they always show practically everything up to the nipple. Now, I wouldn't want to dress that way but just knowing I can't show that much without being embarrassed by scars and stretch marks has been a great annoyance for me.
HELP! Its taken me so long to finally come out and ask for advice about this. I'm far to embarrassed to talk to anybody I know about it. Not my mom, best friend or doctor. (link)

i heard of stuff called "bio-oil" thats quite expensive, but i heard it works great for scars and stretchmarks. In the UK you can get it anywhere- supermarkets, chemists, EVERYWHERE!

I recently learned i have the gift of knowledge. Not normal knowledge but not like einstein. I know things it took adults 40 years to learn and i am 13. my mom says knowledge is a wonderful gift.
1. can i use my knowledge to maybe gain supernatural powers? or make myself dtronger or something.
2. How can i use my knowledge. it's cool to know things but it's sort of a boring gift (not that i don't love it.) what can i do with it that is interesting? and dont say find a cure for cancer or something scientific or mathematical.
