i have a question.
do guys sometimes like
dont pick, or date a girl because
of what the mom looks like, because
there afraid that there gonna
look like that when they get older?
AskSophie answered Saturday September 12 2009, 7:17 pm: Hey,
Well I'm not a guy, so I'm giving you advice from a females perspective. I've heard of people saying that before, but it's not an actual fact. Some guys do tend to think that way, and it is normally the shallow ones, so they are best avoided anyway.
A guy isn't going to think about things like this at the very beginning, so the reason for him not dating the female is very unlikely to be this reason. When a guy sees a girl, he doesn't automatically think "If her mothers ugly I won't date her because 20-30 years down the line she will look the same". The main reason this is very unlikely is, when have you ever heard of a guy you just met thinking 20-30 years in the future? Never. [ AskSophie's advice column | Ask AskSophie A Question ]
