Yay! My mommy told me that when I'm at camp, they are going to repaint my room. We are going to go somewhere to pick out a color before I leave but I'm just wondering what are some good color ideas. Probably something bright and cherey but yet somewhat subtle! Any ideas?

my room is bikini bottom blue right now. i think it's what you are looking for because it's kinda bright (its the spongebob collection) but it's subtle so you wont get sick of it.

ok, so I'm 13, about 5'3 and i only weight about 98 pounds. I exercize well and eat really healthy. I have a flat stomache and i'm not 'chubby' or anything, but I hate my hips. Like, right bellow my belly-button. Is there any exercizes I can do to make them smaller or get rid of them? I think they make me look horrible in bathingsuits and stuff. Answer fast Please!!

I know you're young and want to have like a straight figure but really, you are at a good weight and hips are a good thing. they make you look older/more womanly. yeah, they can be annoying in sizes, but since its just a number, as long as it looks good, go with it.

well my best friend was like a really good girl that did NOTHING wrong... and we've been friends for a longg time and our parnents are good friends too. but lately she has been getting in trouble and getting grounded..she smoke cigarettes and done weed sometimes and we got in a fight about that because im TOTALLY against it people have asked me to try it and im like nope..never! and my parents asked why she is always in trouble and im like well..because she tried weed and smoked some cigarettes..and theyre like SHE DID WHAT? theyre all worried that i did it and stuff and theyre like you better not do that! since im over at her housel ike 24/7. now my parents and my whole family think i do it or whatever just because she did it! she doesnt even really do it anymore and i always yell at her because its soo bad for her! i dont want my parents to think i am a druggie because im not i would never do that and ive told them that but i dont think they believe me!! what should i do?..i cant stop hanging out with my friend because i would die without her and plus i only really hangout with her and my other friend! ahh this is horrible!! :[

About the smoking.... as long as she doesnt do it in front of you or like pressures you into it, don't fight her about it. she'll stop on her own when she gets bored with it. dont get all "i will never try anything like that" and like draw Xs on you hand b/c that's immature and pretty annoying. anyway, about the parents, you could take a drug test for them or like put down the drugs to them, not to your friend, know what i mean? i dont know when they'll believe you but i think they will eventually. don't worry about it, you can still hang with your friend but don't get caught sneaking out or anything with her or then you won't be able to see her again because that just looks like something bad is going on. reassure them that you are your own person and what she does is up to her and wont affect your decisions. if you need to talk, leave one in my inbox with your screename and i'll im you.

How bad is weed for you?
I smoke like.. maybe once every 2 months.. sometimes from a pipe.. and sometimes from a can.. how bad is this for you? I dont even think I get high when I do it though.. How do you know when youre high?

It's really not that bad for you. I mean yeah, it does some damage in the long run, but just doing it on occasion can't kill you. the only bad thing it can do is get you in trouble. drug tests and cops can...parents too, but that's about it.

I'm in this acting camp, and this week is Spirit Week. The past three days haven't been too hard (Monochromatic Day, Twin Day, Goth Day) but tomorrow, Nerd Day, I don't know what to wear. My friend said the first time she smoked a cigarette, she got "high" and she felt jittery and light-headed. Is that true? I mean, can that happen with a cigarette? I'll rate high for good answers. Thanks

welll jittery & lightheaded don't really describe a high... that's more like an allergic reaction almost. yes i guess it can happen, but that's not a high/good feeling. i think she's exaggerating a little bit to make it sound fun/interesting.

Everytime I take a shower, I end up losing a lot of hair for some reason. Like when I'm washing my hair and I run my fingers through it, I get a lot of hair falling out. Even when I brush my hair after the shower I still lose a lot. And I use a Garneir conditioner and it makes my hair soft and so its not like its tangly and I'm pulling hair out... it just comes out when I brush it... why does it do that?

that happens to me too! my grandma is sharing the shower with me and she's freaking out about it saying that i need a more expensive shampoo. i use pantene prov. i really dont think there's anything wrong with it because we're supposed to lose some hair everyday.

My mom made me a doctors appotment in August with a regualar pediatricion. (i'm 13)

I'm gonna get a physical or a check-up, I can't remember which one. Thing is, I havn't been to the doctor since I was 7 or 8. So, of course, I've gotten my period since then.

Will my doctor want to take a look "down there"?

my friend just got a physical the other day and they asked her about her period. the doctor did pull up her underwear to take a peak to see if everything was "developing ok". they wont look around and stuff, just kinda look down and be done with it. kinda uncomfortable, i know!

well once the conversation gets going, you can ask if he usually takes employees out to dinner. ask questions that kinda go with the flow of the conversation but can give you big hints, know what i mean?
"the lakehouse looks good!" since he's also been hinting that he wants to see it. mention it at dinner or point it out somewhere.
if the guy visits you, just talk to him long enough so he sees you 2. if he asks, say hes a friend and leave it at that. if he asks anymore, he's probably interested.

I currently work in retail in a mall, I am 19 yrs old, my manager that is 26. There are a lot of things I am troubled about, I don't know how he feels about me.

I am the top sales associate at the store. One day, he told me if I sell $3000 worth of sales (which is IMPOSSIBLE in our store) in one day, he'll take me out for dinner. Later on, he changed the budget to $1500, which is EXTREMELY difficult still. He said he would take me to a very prestigeous/expensive restaurant, the 360 restaurant on top of the CN tower (I am from Toronto Canada by the way). In MY opinion, this is a place where all my friends in relationships go to on special occasions.

Well, an hour before the day ended, I was FAR from the $1500 budget, so he said he cant take me to dinner if i dont make the sales, he'll only take me to Diary Queen, and I made a very disapproving/disappointed *awwww* jokingly, then he said fine.... i'll take you to DQ and a good walk on the beach.

I ended up making $1500 that night!!!!! when he was checking my sales, he had his hand covering his mouth and kinda laughing. He looked nervous, scared, excited, (according to everyone else that was there).

we are going this weekend, first he tells me to dress glamourous!... later on, he said glamourous usually means romantic, flowers and all that, so he told me to dress *fun*.... then i asked *are you gonna get me flowers?!?!?!* jokingly of course. Then he said... *c'monnn christine*... so i told him im only joking..... but he ends up asking me what my fav flower is...

I am extremely confused about this situation. He is extremely good looking, and has a lot of *girl* friends.... but I dont THINK he takes them out to nice dinner like this.

Also at work, he offered to buy me a drink... but he said he *forgot*, but later on, he bought me a drink when we decided to go hang out with his friend and this other girl at work.... i didnt ask for the dirnk... he came outta the convenience store for me...

but just yesterday he said he REALYL wanna see the movie the LakeHouse with sandra bullock and keanu reeves, and he was gonna see it with his friend (a girl)... but she didnt end up calling him... but it SEEMED like... when we saw the advertismeent for the movie he emphasized that he wants to see it again... =/ ... im not sure if he's hinting me taht he wants to see it with me?... or he jsut wants to see it... since he was gonna see it with a *girl* friend anyways....

also... when we were with his friends hanging out.... they were talking about sum girls... and he commented and said they were pretty... >.

wooooowww. welll i think he likes you... maybe the other girl not calling him was just to make you jealous. i think he wants an excuse to take you out... makes it a little unrealistic to see if you will try hard to get him to take you out? or he could be using you to make more money but that's not what it sounds like. i think he's a little overly flirtatious with you. go see the lakehouse and see what happens from there.

This is actually a REALLY important question. Well, for me anyway. I know that this doesn't match up to scuicide and stuff, but i rate 5's for nearly any answer.
I don't mind if you say that this picture is not a good one. As long as your honest, you get a 5. I would love to have answers that explain how that picture may or may not be good.

how can i get motivated to excercise on rainy days? I do not have any excersize equiptment in my house, and on sunny days i like to go for a jog, a walk, or bike ride. On rainy days however, I am either too lazy, or don't know how to excersize indoors. Any suggestions?

running in the rain is FUN! it's like a rush. but if you're too lazy or don't feel like it, do some strength training with maybe some hand weights, try tae bo on tape, do sit-up, crunches, push-ups-stuff like that.

rubbing alcohol is your best bet. even that Purell hand sanitizer stuff would work. if neither of those are available, try nail polish remover.
to use it, put it on a cotton ball or even toilet paper and scrub it off.

hello! i am totally obsessed with getting the new sidkeick 3. I read every blog about it everyday and every website. I don't know, it's the first electronic that I REALLY want. One problem: i only have 60 dollars. and asking my parents to buy it for me is out of the question!!! The only thing I can do is work at my dads store, and i make 50 dollars a week!! It will take me so long to save up for the sidekick 3, and it comes out july 10th! I just want to buy it as soon as i can!( but i definitely dont need to buy it on july 10th) SO: what are some fast ways to make money. DO NOT SAY GET A JOB SOMEWHERE CAUSE I'M TOO YOUNG. (my dad lets me work at his storre cause im his daughter) also, no babysitting cause i put up like 5 flyers in stores around town for me babysitting but no ones has called and its been 3 days. please i'm desperate!!

well since you work for your dad, maybe he can pay you in advance? do some yard work or clean the whole house one day and see if you parents offer to pitch in or pay you extra for it. water plants, do things around the house or work for your dad a couple extra hours a week for more money.

well im on an allstar softball 'A' team, and we played the 'B' team in the districts tournament. we lost! TO THE B TEAM! now theyre going to states! ugh!!!!!!! how annoying! and its all because our coaches refused to play two of our best players because they said that they had to rest them! it was dumb! how are they supposed to play the next game if we dont make it there?! they were really stupid about where everyone played and afterward, they said it was because the 'b' team wanted it more!!! thats SOOOO not true! half of us were crying... but i wasnt. how could i be? i hit a triple and threw a runner out @ third from center field =D! we lost because of lots of coaching errors in running, batting order, and positions. coach ALWAYS lets his daughter play, even though shes the WORLDS WORST FIELDER! is there anything that the team parents (who have been angry for MONTHS) can do to help coach do things right? or maybe assistant coaches? if not--- how do i get over the mocking im going to recieve from the 'B' team who are going to states!! =(. sorry this was long.

Have you considered playing for another team? this coach is (pardon my french) full of shit. I mean it sucks that a b team one (it happens sometimes..) but that fact that your coach put in like 3rd string at districts is retarded. the mocking... well tell them what happened and tell them to shut up. about the coach... well all you cn do is change teams. i wouldnt bother fighting him or anything or he wont play you or give you hard time. (you and anyone else that speaks their mind). goodluck tho!

aww you're a cutie! you're only 110 lbs? welll if you mean to lose any weight...don't. but to workout and get all buff and stuff yeah go ahead! i think you should cut some hair off the top and keep it short, you seem to have good style so that's good as long as you look put together. try crest white strips if you feel you need them (they work!). keep facial hair to a minimum. wow i dont have to give you much criticism! stay cool!
