money! need money!
hello! i am totally obsessed with getting the new sidkeick 3. I read every blog about it everyday and every website. I don't know, it's the first electronic that I REALLY want. One problem: i only have 60 dollars. and asking my parents to buy it for me is out of the question!!! The only thing I can do is work at my dads store, and i make 50 dollars a week!! It will take me so long to save up for the sidekick 3, and it comes out july 10th! I just want to buy it as soon as i can!( but i definitely dont need to buy it on july 10th) SO: what are some fast ways to make money. DO NOT SAY GET A JOB SOMEWHERE CAUSE I'M TOO YOUNG. (my dad lets me work at his storre cause im his daughter) also, no babysitting cause i put up like 5 flyers in stores around town for me babysitting but no ones has called and its been 3 days. please i'm desperate!!

alrighhht. You're on a start with babysitting and working in your dad's store. But another really good way to earn fast cash is by selling all that extra clutter in your room!

to add on to the flyers you can make almost a buisness type card and stick it in mailboxes of your neighbors!!

If you really want to get it you should keep working at your dad's store and save up all the money you make from working there. It might take awahile, but you'll eventually get there. You should make more than five flyers for your babysitting services, though. Make up about 50 or so and just start posting them anywhere you can find a place to stick them at. Someone will call eventually. There are tons of parents looking for someone to watch their kids over the summer instead of paying for costly daycare. You could ask your parents if they know anyone from work that needs a babysitter.

im sure you will get a babysittin job though.. chances are you wont here anything for atleast a week becasue the parents need to discuss it and what not before hand.. i mean look at me someone called me about the flyer 3 years after i handed them 1.
What i would do is either ask yuor dad for more hours or ask him if he can pay for it upfront and you pay him back by working it off because hes gonna have to buy it anyway because at T-mobile you have to be 18 to sign for your own cell phone (and i would know because im buying a new one there on friday)
Also you are better off waiting till late august which im guessing by that time (because the sidekick 2 is only $250) you will have more than enough money because after 1 month and the big frenzie about it is over the prices should drop
i mean look at the razr.. when that came out like a year ago or whatever it was over $200 now at T-moble its only $50 and i even got a coupon for a certain store that was giving it to you for free with a new activation
now its kind of hard to give you advice when you said already the only thing you can do is work at your dad store which basicallly answers this question

well since you work for your dad, maybe he can pay you in advance? do some yard work or clean the whole house one day and see if you parents offer to pitch in or pay you extra for it. water plants, do things around the house or work for your dad a couple extra hours a week for more money. <3

You can do some quick jobs around your neighborhood like cutting peoples' yards, become a house cleaner, like go to house-to-house offering to clean people's houses (quick, big money), and also get your parents into giving you allowance. Like offer them a week of dusting, doing dishes, cleaning or whatever for $40 or whatever how much is a good deal to you.
And about the babysitting thing, when I put fliers up I didn't get a call until two weeks later so it takes time on that. Don't worry - someone is always interested in looking for a babysitter.

Talk to your parents about how much this sidekick 3 means to you. Maybe they will let you help around the house or even your dads store some more. Talk to your neighbors or even your family and maybe even have a yard sale to make some quick cash. If all else fails, talk to family members [ i know you said no babysitting ] but if they have children or if your family members know anyone who would need help, if its babysitting, cleaning or working somewhere. Oh also, PS. If you go to Music Stores, or Video Game Stores, such as like Strawberrys, I'm not sure how much, but I know that they pay for used CD's which is also some quick cash. Hope i helped :)
