I'm a guy and when I talk to my guy friends I can really express myself but when I talk to a friend thats a girl I act all different and shy....now I know when people say guys act different around girls
I need help just expressing myself and I usually and talk about anything but im having some trouble. O if anyone could give me some advice and some topics to talk about to my friends that are girls please tell me.

you should think of your guy friends & girl friends the same. why?? they kind've are. a lot of people are opposite of you. they think since some guys don't do that with each other. you know, express how they feel & what they're thinking. girls do that all the time so you should be comfortable with it. girls like hearing those kind've things & i would know since im a girl haha =) also, they are your friends. they aren't random girls you don't know. since they're your friends, they won't judge you & might really appreciate you telling them how you feel about things. some topics could be school, sports, events, people, etc.

my mom is plannin on takin me to the doctor this week. she wants to take me to make sure i am not sexual active.. my questions are

1) i dont want my mom to be in the room wit me while the doctor is there. how can i tell the doctor with out lettin my mom hear. she wants to be in there but i dont want her to be and i know if i tell her that i dont she will get mad.

2) can a doctor really know if u are sexual active? otherwors noe that you had sex once..

okay, i think it's completely normal for you not to want your mom in there. why?? it's embarrasing & you already have the doctor in there. some girls prefer someone else being in the room with them, some don't. i think when you go in, have your mom go with you & before they start doing anything, tell her that you'll be more comfortable & relaxed if she waited outside. that way, the doctor hears you saying that & might suggest her to leave. she probably won't get mad at this. juss explain to her you don't want a "crowd". you juss don't want a lot of people & it would be awkward. since she's a girl & has been through it, she'll understand. doctors can't truly know if you're sexually active er not, unless you have a STD er your pregnant er something. there's no clear sign saying "she had sex". yes, girls cherries can pop by using a tampon, wearing tight clothing in that area, riding a horse, running, etc. this isn't the case for some people, but for some it is. your doctor can't say anything without your permission so don't worry about it.

hmm..i can see why the flyers won't work. probably because they don't know you, haven't seen you, & probably won't want to leave their kids with someone they've never met before. try going door to door around your neighborhood. meet diff people & ask them. they might want to get to know you a bit. that way they can see you & you're neighbors & what not.

well. me and this boy who I am in loveeee with ended up cheating on me twice :( first time with this girl and I gave them both a second chance and then when i took him back he did it agin after 10 weeks of us being together. he told my best friend who is also his BFF that rite now he just isn't "right" and he does have a lot of family problems and stuff but he did it with my BEST FRIENDDSSS and he was under the influence both times! actually one that you prolly shouln't kno but I just can't get over him I dont even kno if I want to bcuz we've done....A LOt together...if you kno what I mean and he's said the most nicest things thatany guy has said to me everrr i just don;t kno how to get him bakc and make sure he doesn't do it again or if I shuould stop which im guessing you'll say. thankss.

well, it is your decision. there's also that saying that goes 'once a cheater always a cheater' & he proved to do that. he cheated once & you forgave him. that was his chance. he cheated again?? i don't think he should have another. if he makes a mistake, fine, but to make the same mistake twice?? plus its a big mistake. there's also that saying 'cheat once on me, your fault, cheat twice on me, my fault'. idk if you believe those, but if he truly cared about you, do you really think he'd still cheat?? i doubt it. i think you guys should juss be friends & as for your other friends?? idk about them either. you could probably do much better without them since they did that to you.

Are cramps bad for you? Is it bad when you get really bad ones, like unbearable? Any solutions?!

blah cramps are never good. yes some people have them worse than others. mine are mostly bad on the first day & then they get a bit better. sometimes they're close to unbearable, sometimes they aren't. i know a few girls that have bathroom problems & throw up. if that's the case, you definately want to go to see a doctor about it. you can take birth control to regular your period (if its irregular) & help you with your cramps. DO NOT GO TO PLANNED PARENTHOOD FOR THIS. you have to see a regular doctor. if they aren't that bad and you don't want to use that option, you should stick to a heating pad & midol. actually, i use advil & it works good. tylenol doesn't work for me, but basically find a pain reliever that works. i'd suggest going to a doctor. SCHEDULE AN APPT. for one & see what the doctor says about it.

I have a friend that came to me with a question but I didnt know how to answer it because it never happened to me. so i was wondering if anyone can help me help her. ok so here is the story: her and her boyfriend have been dating for a few months now and they had sex for the first time. she has always worried about having sex and then beeing dumped. well after they had sex he said to her that he feels bad cuz after sex he should be proud/happy and that he didnt. he also said that he loves her so much and doesnt want anything to happen to her but still feels bad for how things turned out. he also wanted to gie her a ring later on but said that he wants to give her something like that from the heart instead of his moms jewelry box.
now is there any chance that he will leave her and make one of her worries real?

no one can really answer this question, because all guys are different. no one can predict what he will do er won't do, that's why it's up to your friend to talk to him & see what happens. since he said he cares for her & loves her, it doesn't look like he'll leave her, but things can change. there's always a chance, but some are bigger than others. the reason he didn't feel proud/happy could mean he wasn't ready to have sex & that doesn't have to do with her. maybe she means a lot more to him than juss sex & he regrets it & wanted to wait. you never know. she needs to talk to him about it.

I've been dating guy1 for about a week now.. He has cheated on alot of girls.. he said he wouldn't cheat on me.. but who knows.. well before I started dating guy1 I was like in love with my best guy2 friend seriously we talked before but we never actually dated..Then I started dating guy1.. and me,guy2 and my friend was in a convey and me and my friend started talkin about guy1 coming up my house the next day as soon as we started talking about this guy2 said he had to go and got out of the convey and and about 5 minutes later and got back on.. and one day he popped up on my friend and said i didn't like him anymore and then my friend asked him if it bothered him and he said he had to get off and didn't answer..now he won't even talk to me any more.. I'm started to miss him alot and i can't get him out of my head..I started dating guy1 to get guy2 out of my head.. but its not working i do like guy1 but not as much as i like guy2.. I've like guy2 for like 6 months or more..any tips on how to get him out of my head..? Does it sound like he likes me?

you seem really confused. maybe you should take a break from both guys & decide how you feel, then date them. why?? because you said that at first you dated guy1 to get guy2 out of your head & you like guy2 more. you should go for it. he might be sensitive about the fact that you have a boyfriend, but really, see how he feels. ask him & don't guess. that causes all kinds of problems & assumptions. if he likes you & you really want to date him, then you have to break things off with guy1. i'm not sure if he likes you, because all guys are different & so are their personalities. he might though. that's why you need to ask him.

i'm definately not a guy, but i saw that this wasn't answered & i hang out with a lot of guys so i'd like to help you out.

i think personality is extremely important & my bf says it too. he thinks that if the girl is really pretty, but has no personality, the relationship isn't going anywhere. soo for most guys i'd say, personality is either 7,8,9,10 on the scale, depending on the guy. all guys are different. but my bf would probably say a 9-10. looks are important for most guys, er most people. if there's no physical attraction, usually it won't work, but not all the time!! there are many guys that don't care for looks whatsoever. background of a person is a bit different. my friends told me it'd probably be around a 5 up to a 10?? it could be extremely important depending what religion you are, what your values/decisions you made. this isn't a general question, because everyone has their own opinions. i'm juss giving my input from what i heard of.

Okay what does a Large and an XL in Abercrombie Kids convert to in the adult Abercrombie & fitch? Like is an XL in Kids a Medium in Abercrombie and fitch? Or even a size chart would be nice!

hmm sorry, i couldn't find a size chart, but i visited abercrombie&fitch & abercrombiekids websites & it seems like if you're a XL in kids, you're a M. here's an example-

S in kids-none in reg
M in kids-none in reg
L in kids-small in reg
XL in kids-medium in reg

& then it goes up to L & XL in reg. (regular meaning regular abercrombie&fitch).

i'm not fat and i'm not thin but i want to be thin; i want to eat healthier i just can't and no one thinks i need to lose weight but like i weigh 145 and i'm 5'8" and 15. to me thats over weight; i hate wearin bathing suits; and i'm slowly havein eatin problems; sometimes i dont eat at all and starve; can someone please help?!!!

wow you sound like me. i'm about 5'9ish & probably weigh close to what you do. i'm not exactly sure. i went to the doctor & they actually told me i was under weight..yeah! i couldn't believe it because idk i don't really think i'm skinny er anything. to eat healthier, juss replace your junk food with fruits & veggies. it sounds easy, but it could be difficult depending if you eat a lot of it. eat all 3 meals!! do not starve yourself. that is actually a lot worse than eating junk food. soo make a plan. eat a big breakfast(most important meal) & then eat lunch & dinner regularly. for lunch, since its summer you probably have more variety, but i'd suggest a sandwich er a salad. for dinner, a meat & a veggie would be best. unless you are a vegetarian?? sorry if you are, idk any meals for that. if not, yeah a meat & veggie would be good. if you get hungry inbetween, eat some fruit. its really good for you. remember to drink lots of water too because you need to keep yourself hydrated & it washes out things in your body you juss don't need. if you're hungry, eat. that's the right time to eat. when you're full, er almost full, stop. if you stick to that you won't go wrong. exercising will help a lot too. maybe swimming er running. don't think of this as a diet, because it isn't. you don't have any food restrictions so as long as you eat fruits & veggies throughout the day, you won't gain weight & you'll be eating better.

Hey i'm 13/f and i really like my ex boyfriend. were thinking we midght get back together but the thing is we live like 2 hours away. i knwo this is gonan sounds stupid but i think i love him. i couldent live without him when we broke up and he knows that. we talk on the phone for like 2-3 hours each day. i'm going down to were he lives in like 4 weeks and when i go there i want to suprise him with something sexual. i think this is your decision. if you think by having sex with him, it'll fix your relationship, don't. what if you guys have sex & he doesn't get back together with you?? you probably wouldn't feel too great & would be really mad at him. when you go to visit him, take things slow. i would suggest not jumping into sex er anything sexual. you guys are ex's for a reason. i'm not saying that you can't like him er something, because you can & it's actually really common, but sex?? that might be taking it a step too far. before you go to visit, make a pros & cons list about it. it might help. if you guys did do anything sexual, what would that change?? you guys would be dating again?? would you honestly want to go out with a guy that's dating you because you guys had sex?? those are juss a few things you can think about. you can surprise your ex in many different ways. maybe bring him something he likes. you can ask him out. i'm juss saying, sex er anything sexual is probably the wrong way to go in this situation. there are also a lot of consequences. pregnancy, stds?? what if he tells his friends you had sex together juss to date?? like there's a lot of things that can result from it. juss make sure you're 100% sure with what you do before you do it.

Could someone please describe to me "Planned Parenthood"?

Do they offer abortions?

I don't really understand what it is. I looked at the website and it didn't make sense to me.

i've never been there myself, but i know a few people that have. they do not offer abortions. they're basically for counseling & information about pregnancies & how to handle them. they can help you out if you are pregnant, think you are pregnant, er don't want to be pregnant. they do give out birth control. you do not need an adult there with you to schedule an appointment. it's basically a place for girls to go if they need help in any way with pregnancy. they can also help with adoption, if you can't handle the child yourself. soo yeah, basically it's like a clinic sort've. like i said, no adults are needed & most people go to get birth control.

I have horrible cramps. They are so bad I can't stand up straight and I'm almost in tears. How can I lessen the pain? I tried ibuprofen but it's not helping and a heating pad doesn't work either.

one of the columnists said drink milk before, definatelllyyy don't. it makes it worse. try staying out've the heat, but don't drink anything cold. lay comfortably, maybe sleep. juss stay comfortable & take your mind off of it. make sure you go to the bathroom enough. don't use tampons.

it's a forum thing & one guy asked & they responded. basically you should try weights & working out. like it says on that website, if you bring down your fat percentage (even if you do only weigh 120) you'll basically reduce them slowly. you can't depend on that though. try using weights and exercise your chest area. here's a website-

Hey, I'm a 15 year old girl in Austraila. My mum Really doesn't like my bf. She thinks our relationship is "too serious". And my bf doesn't like my mum because she doesn't like him. She's stopped letting me see him except at school. How can i get my mum to let me see him. He's really nice. And how do i get them to like each other?

im from australia too haha =) well anyways, you can't make them like each other, but if you really like him & trust him, she should give him a chance. maybe explain to her why he's a good guy & let them spend some time together. you guys should all go out to dinner er something. maybe she juss doesn't know him well enough to like him. yes you do need to respect her, but you can choose who you want relationships with er not. i think it's your opinion if you think the relationship is too serious er not, even though she's your mom. soo basically, have her spend time with him. you should all go to eat er plan a day of activities. if she doesn't want to do that, then she isn't giving him a fair chance like you are. see how that goes & she'll probably decide how she feels about it from there.

in our state we have to be 16 to get your permit..and im 16 and i didnt get it yet. because my parents think 16 is too young and my sister wreck her car in 3 hours of having her liscense at 18 and my other sister hit the neighbors car 3 days after at 18..so now they dont trust me even more..and i know about 7 people who are 16 and have their permits and my friend just turned 16 yesterday and got her permit. and going out driving today..and its annoying me because everyone always asks why i dont have my permit or why i cant drive till 18..and they cant understand that every parent has different rules.

do not worry!! my parents were totally for me getting my permit & i failed my test & have been afraid to go back since. definately listen to your parents. you probably won't be able to convince them because of your sisters, but you can definately try. keep studying though!! my test was really hard haha =) talk to them & tell them that if you were able to drive you could be a big help with shopping, errands, etc. your friends shouldn't worry about you & driving. my friends ask me that all the time too. juss say that you're parents won't allow it, end of story. they should understand that.
