sorry this is going to be long.. I need to add details in order to ask my question.


The other night I had my boyfriend over to my house to watch the CMA Awards and I told him ahead of time that we'd be watching it and that it lasts about 3 hours and he said it was fine. I also told him I had waited ALL year to see them because I'm THAT big of a country fan and he knows it. So we watch about 20 min. of it and he says "hey let's see if Texas Chainsaw Massacre is on, it's suppose to be tonight" so he changes it and we just HAVE to watch it.. I looked at him and said "well couldn't you rent it or borrow it from a friend sometime? I've been waiting for the CMA's all year and you can watch this any time." and he starts whining and begging to watch it so I finally just give in and ask if we can flip it back over after and he says yes so after the movie we flip it back and start watching it. About 10 min. later he gets all excited and says "OH MY GOSH SOUTH PARK IS ON!! WE HAVE TO WATCH IT!!!" he's obsessed with South Park so we flip it over and watch it. I wouldn't have been so upset if it were a new episode or something but it was RE RUN... so I said to him "Okay well can we atleast watch Keith Urban since this is a re run?" because Keith Urban is my favorite country singer and he says sure. Well my parents were in the other living room watching it on that TV and I hear Keith Urban start singing and I tell him to flip it and he says "But this is the BEST PART!!" and I tried to get up but he said he wanted me to watch it so I stayed. I started to complain about not being able to watch it and about that time South Park's over and Nip Tuck comes on.. so he's like okay well we can watch it after Nip Tuck.. and I said "Alright well then can we flip it over the the CMA's and watch Kerry Underwood sing?" and he said "Well alright if we have to watch it" but we never flipped the chanel.. and by the time we did it was already over. My parents said it was great and Keith Urban got ENTERTAINER OF THE YEAR.. and I missed it because my boyfriend just HAD to watch Texas Chainsaw Massacre, South Park, and Nip Tuck... so my question is.. Was I being too selfish by wanting to watch the CMA Awards instead of his favorite shows?

I have a question about acres on properties. A friend of mine just bought a house and bragged that it had 16 acres on the property. I thought that was a lot until I read that Brad Pitt just bought a house in Calgary that had 1000 acres! I'm confused, I don't know how large an acre is. Can someone tell me how large 16 acres is, like could you compare it to the size of something else? Also, it 16 acres as big as my friend made it sound to be, or was he just bragging for nothing?

An acre is about the size of a football field. So your friend's house is about he size of 16 football fields. And Brad Pitt's is 1,000 football fields.

18/f. I have a very close guy-friend. Occasionally when he comes over to mine (or I go to his), and he (or I) can't get home (e.g. he comes to my place on his bike, I don't like him to ride home at 3am, it's not too safe around here) then he stays over. He'll sleep in my (single) bed, and we usually end up snuggled up to close each other (e.g. both lying on our sides facing the same way with his arm around me).
My question is - is this ok for our relationship? - I don't want to date him, I don't want our friendship to turn into something further. We are both single. Is it ok to sleep together like this, or will it damage our friendship in the long run?

It's fine. As long as you two have an understanding that you want to be friends and nothing is wrong it's fine. If he feels differently the sleeping in the same bed should end.

okay so the other night, my friend told me she likes me, and 2 nights later I asked her out. And she says "I would love too, but I have to bring my grades up and I have Cheer competitions almost every weekend in in January." I really like her and my other friend told me just to give her time. And i don't know if i should give her time or what to do?

It's simple. Do you really want her? If the answer is yes, give her time. If the answer is no, forget about her.

I believe you can make icons on just about any animation program. I use movies12. It doesn't have the best tools but its good. You make the frames in paint and then put them together in that program. You can download it at http://forums.buddy4u.com/viewtopic.php?t=13299

It also gives you a nice toturial. You have to scroll down though so don't freak out when you don't see it at the top. It's the last thing on the page. I hope I helped!

my boyfriend and I are going to have our 1 year in december so I have alot of time to prepare. I'm going to do something very special in my guest/spare bedroom. It has a couch and a tv. I want to cook him dinner and dessert, decorate it with candles and stuff, but I don't have any ideas. What kind of food can I make that's easy? He'll eat ANYTHING. How else can I decorate besides candles/roses? maybe music? How do I make this room look AMAZING? I'll take anything.

Spaggeti (I'm sure many people said this). With meatballs and garlic bread. A good drink would be chamoange if you're legal but if you're not sparkling cider would do the trick. The candles and roses are good. Another cute idea is make a trail of rose petals leading to the room. Make the candles sented. Basically a ton of flowers is the best decorations. You could even hang little hearts from the ceiling. Put red everywhere. Also you could have little cards around that say something special you two did together. For music buy or burn a CD with a ton of slow love songs. Particullarly, ones that you two like or have something to do with your relationship. For example the first song you guys danced to together. For after dinner watch a romantic or scary movie; really anything you could cuddle to. Or you can dance to the music. Whatever makes this night meaningful. I hope I helped!

This may sound like a stupid question, but here goes...
When I was younger I used to collect semi-precious stones (like pink quartz, fools gold, turquoise etc.) and I have about 100 of them. But now they are just sitting in a drawer gathering dust and I don't want them anymore. I'm not sure if they would be worth anything, and if they were, where could I sell them? They are a nice collection.

You can sell anything on eBay. Try selling them there. The worth all depends on where you got them. Was it in a gift hop from a pl ace you visited? These would be worth more. Did you just see it a local store? These would be worth less. Price it like that.

Before you get a boyfriend you need to get close boys who are friends. If you like someone be daring and ask them out. OK well im a 13/f and when I was little and still now if like i do somthing "bad"..or i get my dad mad...he'll like hit me...and like i dont know if thats really considered abuse..well see this all came up because my friend jessica was tellin us how she stayed out late and her dad got really mad and she called her mom and was like i think dads gunna hit me cuz hes really mad but if he lays a hand on me ill call the cops...so that just got me thinkin to myself...is what my dad does considered abuse or just a way of him "punishing" me.
