ok so school is starting, and im going shopping. and i was just wondering what you guy mmight suggest for the best makeup to buy, i am lookign for a very good mascara, foundation or a good blemish concealer, i am a bretty fair skin tone, and very little if any blemishes, so i would like to keep my skin that way by using make up that doenst damge my skin. any suggestions?

EDIT:
For powder blush, put some on the brush, then shake the excess off. Smile and apple from the apple of your cheek (the part that sticks out) to your temples, then blend with your hands.
For mouse or cream blush, put a tiny bit on the tip of one finger, then rub it against the same finger on the other hand so that there's the same amount on each finger. Smile and rub from the apple of your cheeks to your temples- but don't rub too much or it'll come off.
On fair skin tones, bronzer can look like dirt, so use blush instead. Light apricot/blush or a light rose would be both work.

everytime i get my period for the first 2 days i always get really bad cramps. my cramps bother me so much that i never want to hang out with my friends and sometimes it even hurts so much i don't even want to go to school. does anyone know how to get rid of these annoying cramps? thanks.

I am a Junior this year and I feel nervous that, since I have to retake a freshman class I'll feel left out and stupid. So I will be sitting in a class with freshmen students. Also, I am afraid to get the same science teacher as I did last year because I don't want her to think I am dumb since I got to take a freshman class. I mean, I want to take this class to get my credits so I can graduate in time. Any quick tips on how to deal with this?

I'm a junior now, but I was in a freshman math class as a sophomore and it wasn't that bad. Be nice to the freshman and they'll probably be nice to you. Most freshman really look up to upperclassmen so take advantage of that- if they know you're a junior they'll be nice just to tell their friends that they're friends with a junior.

Chances are you will not have the same teacher- most schools try very hard not to have a student have the same teacher twice. But taking a freshman class doesn't mean you're dumb- being dumb is waiting until your graduation day to realize you don't have all your credits. Classes are much easier the second time around and chances are that with even a little effort you'll get an A. Good luck!

i'm getting braces tommarow and I was wondering what i should know about them. how much is it going to hurt and when does it start hurting and when does the pain stop? what helps make the pain stop hurting? and what are good color combinations for braces and what colors look bad? if you've had or have braces i need all the tips you know about the pain and what color to get and stuff! i heard you can get things like soccer balls on them, is that true? (sorry i couldn't use capitals i had to rush so this is the best i can do.)

It hurts a little, take some advil the first few days. Most people do holidays- red/green for christmas, ornage/black for halloween- or do your favorite colors or school colors. Don't ever get white because if you eat anything like Cheetos or Doritos they will turn a hideous shade of orangey-yellow. Other than that, you can't really go wrong.

what if one day you found out that ur friend smoked pot i kno i should b concerned but what should i do should i still b there friend or tell some one like a parent or adult that there smoking pot?

Honestly, it depends on how much they're doing. If it's taking over their life (they want to skip classes to go smoke, it's all they ever want to do) then yes, tell a parent or adult. But if it's just an occasional thing (which is actually really common, and if you hadn't noticed until now it's probably not that serious) let it go. If it bothers you, tell your friend that you know it's their life but you don't ever want them to smoke or be high in front of you. (Like if you guys have plans, not if you see her/him somewhere). And keep your word. 85% of teenagers in America have tried or currently smoke pot, and I'd be more worried if they got into serious drugs.

i have never ever babysitted beofre and my friends neighbor who lives a few hosues down the strret wants me to bayist thier daughter. I have NEVER even considered babysitting. I don't know anything about it. PLEASE HELP ME. The girl is 9 and loves to dance and is very loud and playful and wild and crazy nobody really likes her cuz tehy say shes annoying. I don't see it yet but maybe i will. How do i ask about money? What do you we do? Should i get any ifnormation down before i come? Should i Bring anything? Help!

Babysitting is actually really easy and a great way to make money. Before the parents leave, find out:
- What they want their daughter to eat
- What's off-limits (TV? computer?)
- Where a first aid kit is (or at bandaids and medicine)
- Where they will be and their phone number
- Their address and home phone number
- Emergency numbers
- Any allergies or medical problems
- Bedtime

I would charge $7 to $10 an hour, depending on how difficult the kid is. Bring:
- Lots of activities
- Music
- Dress up stuff
- Maybe a special treat if they're good

The thing about kids, especially at that age, is that you can't talk to them like babies. Treat them like you'd treat a younger sibling- friendly but still with some authority. Play with her, dance with her, get all her energy out before dinner, then serve her a simple meal. (Probably the parents will have something planned already- if not, grilled cheese or macaroni and cheese are always good.) Do not ask her what she wants for dinner! Tell her that you guys are going to calm down for dinner now- in a esrious tone of voice. After dinner, maybe watch TV or a short movie, then take her up to her room, read her a book if she wants, then stay in the room until she falls asleep. Go downstairs and read, watch TV or do homework until the parents come home.

If she won't calm down, make her sit on the stairs or a chair or corner for five minutes or as long as it takes for her to calm down.

In the event of an emergency, make sure you have a neighbor's phone number and the address of the house you're in. If all else fails...call your mom or dad! It might be embarassing but it's better than having the girl get really sick or injured.

what is the best color/ style of shirt to wear for picture day?
im a 16 year old girl and i have medium/light skin, kind of tan. i have hazel eyes. the background for the photo is a blueish color. what will make me look good? lol please help.

- No tank tops because they will make your arms look big.
- Try a cute polo or 3/4 length shirt with some kind of unique detailing.
- Leave your hair down.
- If you want to wear jewelry, wear small/medium earrings and a non-flashy necklace.

In the song London Bridge by Fergie, does the term "London Bridge" mean something bad? Because I was listening to the song with my Dad and he said, "This song is innapropriate."

I think #3 would look the best on you, but here's how to do all of them.

1) This is a little extreme, so here's how to tone it down a little. Start with a teal eyeshadow. Smudge it along your upper lashline- don't make it perfect. If you want, do the inside only of your lower lids, otherwise don't do lower. Take a bronzer or bronze eyeshadow and smudge it from your eyelid to your crease, then take a metallic rosy shadow (examples will follow) and using a tiny bit, blend it to just below your eyebrows. Apply black mascara. Apply bronzing powder or blush- just a little bit on your cheeks. Finish with a pink shimmery lipstick or gloss.

2) This one's really easy. Apple powder on the shiny parts of your face (usually nose). Apply a sheer mousse blush, blending from the apples of your cheeks (the part that sticks out when you smile) to almost your temples. Line your eyes with a soft grey pencil eyeliner. Apply a medium tan eyeshadow from your lid to your crease. Using a credit card or ID card, make a diagonal line from the outside corner of your eye to the outside corner of your eyebrow. from the halfway point of that line to your crease, apply a darker eyeshadow. Remove the card and blend so the line isn't as harsh. Apply dark brown mascara and a neutral pink lipgloss.

I don't know what group to place it in, but it is mental I can tell you that. My boy friend was the best person you could have ever imagined. Even though he is only 14 [so am I, female] He was great. He has the potential to do anything he sets his mind to, music, school, great with kids & adults, wonderful. One of the ,main thing I was attracted to, was his childness-ish. He was funny, not in a dirty way either, didn't swear, proclaimed to be saved and was ever-so respectful.

After about a few months af dating I allowed french kissing and holding, sorta a low quality makeout.Then it grew and grew, now, we didn't get into sex or anything and stayed on top of clothes, but I noticed a difference in him, about two months ago.He has always told me how he feel about everything, absolutely EVERYTHING, I asked him what was wrong, hios reply was always something but he never got to the point. I started telling him that there was somthing he wasn't telling me, he would always say no, there wasn't.

After a long while of thinking, praying and asking God for guidance, I realised that we should never have started the whole "kissing process" so we could regenerate our relationship, the way it was before. At first he was scared, he'd say "What?I thought everything was fine, why shouldn't we?" and My answer would alaways be "It is wrong and I believe God would rather otherwise" Then there'd be a conflict, and those always hurt the heart.

He forgot that He gave me his password and the other days I checked it.Was I ever shocked, hurt, crushed, heart broken...It just hurt so much, I was crying outloud saying "no....no, he couldn't have done this to me..." PAIN CRWLS IN, I...I COULDN'T BREATH, I FELT AS IF IT WAS ALL MY FAULT AND THAT I WAS BLIND TO NOT HAVE SEEN IT COMMING.

Later to find out, He called me [after I ave him my two cents on msn, really, it wasn't much] He denied it, telling me they were spams...right.I didn't believe him, he blamed it on his computer breaking, and It was right in front of my face...all of it, his name, his way of talking, even his special password was there... the girls... the pain was Unbearable :"( ... Everytime I gave him proof, he said sorry and agreed...and He kept telling me half truths, I got him to tell his parents and they have taken the computer away form him for a month.

What could I do to help him[he said it started about after we stopped the kissing process [which was two months ago]And I want to know What can I do, how should I react? What can HE do, It is 2:30 in the morning, I couldn't sleep, I was bawling my eyes out and dind't want to bother everyone else.So I came down, wanting to ask questions to people, including you people.

Since you've been raised in a christian environment, you might not know, but most guys do look at porn. I'm not saying it's right or normal, just that it happens. It has nothing to do with what he thinks of you- it's actually been proven that porn is addicting but men don't think of it as a replacement for or better than their partner.. If he can be away from it for a month that will probably help. Most computers have parental controls that you can set to block those kinds of sites- ask his parents to find out about it. He will not look down on you because you don't look like a porn star, you said he's been watching it for a while and hasn't looked down on you yet, so why would he now? Like i said, it's thought of as a seperate sort of world, highly addicting. Chances are he still loves you. Relationships are about compromise and you're both going to have to work through it but worse issues have been solved.

Remember, you DID NOT do anything wrong and it is not your fault, but that doesn't give you the right to look down on him either. He did not do it to hurt you.

I just came back from my ten year highschool reunion. Everyone was really nice and I had a suprisingly good time. I was really unpopular in highschool back then. Well everyone was nice except for this one guy. He was the most popular guy in the class back then and had a huge ego. He also knew I had a crush on him and was pretty mean back then. Well he showed up with his arm around his new wife and the whole time ignored me and never said hi or apologized to me (I didnt think he would). The strange thing though was although he never talked to me and was showing off his wife the whole night; I kept catching him staring at me when no one else was talking to him. Do you think he still remembers what a jerk he was? Although I was really dressed up and looked hot so he may have been checking me out.

This is kind of a weird question, but do you know how to hide your caller ID when you call other people?
Like, on their phone when you call, it won't say your last name, your phone number, or the state you're in. I think you press star something so the caller ID won't show up. But can you tell me what you press before you make a call?
It's this privacy issue with my parents.

The easiest way is to dial *67 before every call.

You can also dial 0 for the operator and have them make the call for you or use a prepaid phone card.

So I just got called in tomorrow for an interview at this really trendy store at the mall. They sell brands like DKNY, Guess et cetera.
What should I wear to my interview? I don't have any time to get my dress pants tailored but I guess I could get it done if I really needed to, but they don't wear dress pants to work and I know I should anyway btu I thought maybe a skirt would work. I have a peasant skirts that I could wear, I have them in black, white and blue. I know I shouldn't wear camisoles without anything on over but are sleeveless tops ok or no?
I also bought two pairs of ballet flat shoes. One is black and the other is a rusted golden colour so should I try to match?
I also want to look really in style and I have a wide belt that cinches my waist and it's black so that might go with the skirt.
I just got side bangs too and I don't know what to do with my hair. I can straighten it but should I let it loose or tie it into a ponytail or braid with a matching ribbon or is that too much?

Wear a camisole, a nice blouse over it, dress pants, heels. Maybe a long necklace and cute earrings (no hoops). Put your hair in a messy bun with one piece in front down. Natural makeup- a little bit of eyeliner, mascara, natural (beige or light brown) eyeshadow, a little blush, and a natural lip gloss. Good luck!
