xEVYx answered Tuesday August 22 2006, 7:49 pm: I've always used MAC, Almay, and Maybelline and they've always worked wonders for me. MAC's a little more expnsive, but you def get what you pay for.
xSharpiexLovex answered Tuesday August 22 2006, 7:43 pm: if you want really good makeup i suggest sephora or ulta, you know, one of the department stores like nornstrom....drugstore makeup is good, but this stuff is better......but it does cost more
best mascara is Bad Gal Lash...by far...i love it...it makes my lashes look fake..
ALWAYS get a foundation at a department store like sephora...and the professionals there can really get you a perfect shade for your skin, they really know what theyre doing...and they can give you help with anything else.......some drugstore foundations can be good, but more a little more, you can get a flawless foundation, trust me always splurge on your foundation
xokristabelle answered Tuesday August 22 2006, 7:19 pm: Maybelline Dream Mousse foundation works very well and is also very natural looking and easy to use. Here's what it looks like: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
If you use blush, they have a good mousse blush too.
EDIT:
For powder blush, put some on the brush, then shake the excess off. Smile and apple from the apple of your cheek (the part that sticks out) to your temples, then blend with your hands.
For mouse or cream blush, put a tiny bit on the tip of one finger, then rub it against the same finger on the other hand so that there's the same amount on each finger. Smile and rub from the apple of your cheeks to your temples- but don't rub too much or it'll come off.
On fair skin tones, bronzer can look like dirt, so use blush instead. Light apricot/blush or a light rose would be both work. [ xokristabelle's advice column | Ask xokristabelle A Question ]
sassysara answered Tuesday August 22 2006, 7:03 pm: If you don't mind spending a bit more money then I highly recommend Clinique. It is hyper-allergenic and I have found that it doesn't clog my pores or force me to wear make-up every day by ruining my skin.
I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for and buying the cheap crap from walmart or cvs is just not worth my skin!
