London Bridge.

Question Posted Saturday August 19 2006, 1:57 pm

In the song London Bridge by Fergie, does the term "London Bridge" mean something bad? Because I was listening to the song with my Dad and he said, "This song is innapropriate."

Its a very sexual song... I mean you can tell just by the way she sings and stuff. That's probably what your dad was implying. I know that it does have sexual content and swears in the lyrics, but personally, my parents can't even understand the words, lol!

I believe that "london bridge" are her bridges, which is another word for your pants. So "everytime you come around, my pants wanna come down" basically is what she is saying. Pants come down=sexual reference.

hope this helps- :)

There's a lot of stuff that parents consider inappropriate in it:

"I'm such a lady but I'm dancing like a ho
You know that I don't give a f*ck so here we go"

"Drinks start pouring and my speech starts slurring
Everybody starts looking real good
The grey goose got your girl in the loo"

London Bridge means her butt, basically, and the video is pretty bad too. Honestly I don't think it matters, but parents are weird about that kind of thing.

The word "london bridge" means booty, haha at least thats what it said on my radio station. Yeah there is a lot of language and sexuality in this song so thats probably why its inapropriate.

Much love && sunshine!!

Your dad probably said it was inappropriate because of the language used in the song. (swearing!) and what it's implying. (sexual!)
