Hey Everyone :) I'm Kate and a level 2 mod on here. I've had this account since July 2004, so I've been on here since I was 13! Wow ... crazy for me to think how long ago that was. I will admit I don't check in as often as I once did, but being away at college, being in a sorority, and having a job when I'm not at school is very time consuming. I still try to help out as much as possible, and if you send me a question I WILL answer it. Ok...so i have braces and I just got chain put on them...and for those of you who know what that is you probbly know how bad that hurts!! Please tell me what to do for the pain! It is killing me!

Any pain reliever medicines will help. Don't braces suck!? I still have to have mine on for like another year.... it really bites.
But anything like ibuprofin (sp?) tylenol, motrin, asprin... etc. Just any pain relievers. Usually the orthodontists tell me medicines I can use to relieve the pain, but I assume hear either you forgot what yours said or they didn't say any. Have fun with braces :p.

I hope not to iffend anyone but if you are a christian and believe in god send yes I do to me in your answer I wont to see how many responses I get from you all! Please don't skip over this question!

There are many other sites you can get for this. It seems like you're asking a question just to get results, such as a poll. Is there a specific reason why you want to know who is and who is not a Christian? If not maybe you want to post this on some poll sites.

wHAT CAN i DO TO HELP MY BODY LOSE FAT?

Well, excercise, eat healthy, run around, play sports, play anything outside with neighbors...
For example~
-Baseball
-Soccer
-Kickball
-Kick the can (kinda boring, but lots of running involved)
-Capture the flag
-dodgeball around the houses closest to you
- a full on neighborhood game of dodgeball
-go to the pool, swim, don't sit and tan
-walk the neighborhood (or area) with friends or anyone for that matter.
-ride a bike
-go for a jog alone or with friends, if alone bring a CD player, cassette player, MP3 player... ect

Eat three normal sized meals a day, one serving, with a small or healthy snack inbetween.

Go to the Y, use the treadmill, or those step things, maybe lift some weights. What grade are you in... or are you an adult? If you're a student at a high school then make sure you have p.e classes on your schedule. Such as Advanced P.E, weight lifting, Modern Fitness (my sister lost a lot of weight... so she says) umm, regular p.e, and so on.
If you're an adult then hit the gym on the weekends. Take a jog in the mornings before work.

when you go to get a physical.. sumtimes yoou have to pee in a cup right? well can they tell by ur urin if you have smoked weed.. cuz i thought that when you go they get a urin sample to see if you have done drugs?? or maybe im thinking of sumthing else.?? PLEASE I RATE HIGH

Well yes, they can tell if you smoke weed by urine testing. Thats what our school does to test athletes and stuff.
I'm not sure if thats what they use the urine for during physical appointments.
But I'm 14 and they haven't done the urine test on me since like 2 or 3 physicals ago...

Anywho, I always just thought they did it to make sure you're healthy, such as no STD's or something.
If you do smoke week, drink as much water as you can and run a lot. Also, don't smoke within a week AT LEAST of your physical (if it's not for another week) if your physical say isn't for another 2 weeks try really hard not to smoke until then, that way you won't really have to bother with the water and running. But seeing that I'm not 100% positive whether they use the urine testing to test if you're on drugs, then I guess my advice isn't the best, but if you do smoke drugs, first you should quit, but second take all the precautions you can and stay away from weed at LEAST one week before the physical, drink lots of water, and get a lot of excercise.

I have never smoked and this is my first time smokeing. I smoked 3 full ciggs. Can that make you sick or will I be okay???

Well after smoking only three ciggs, not much will happen, at most you'll become addicted. I tried them once at a party, I don't understand how people like them, plus it is so disgusting kissing a smoker... then again if you are a smoker I guess it wouldn't matter, but yeah my ex was one and it was gross to kiss him.
Anyway, I mean if you really didn't like them then you could possibly get a stomach ache or something, but that isn't likely. I think the worst that'll happen after smoking three is bad breath, and a possible addicion. If you do become addicted, then the amount of carcinogens becomes screwed up, you can get lung cancer, you can get a lot more things. My brothers grandmother had to walk around with one of those respirators, or whatever those things are called and she ended up passing away. Anywho, after three ciggs nothing will happen...

ok so we learned about cutting and stuff in a class in school and how its wrong, but i found it a bit intresting.... so i was really mad one day so i tryed it and it didnt make me feel any better. But, i do have a little cut on my arm. Does this mean that im a cutter even though im not going to do it again?

Nope. I mean no offense but it was stupid of you to try. I used to be a cutter. I did it daily, and more than once. I even carved my initials into my arm. I can still see some scars. It isn't pretty, thats why I wear so many of those bands, like livestrong and cure diabetes, and breast cancer and stuff, to hide them.

But what I'm getting at is 1st you don't want to start to make that a habit, and 2nd you aren't a cutter if you've done it once and have no intentions of doing it again.

i went up to my grandma's house this summer, and when I got off the plane, i went to the bathroom, and i found this clear/white spit-looking stuff that smelled really bad come out of my vagina. what is this stuff, and is this normal, because it never happened to me before and i dont know what to do.

How old are you if this has never happened before? It's discharge. As long as it's not a yellowish color and as long as you don't get itchy a lot down there, then it's fine. Now if that happens go see a doctor because that is a yeast infection. But if you want a way to stop it from like getting in your underwear or whatever, wear pantyliners, I would reccomend then deoderized ones so it smells better, but hey thats just my opinion.

Well some people will rate you a 1 if you tell them what they don't want to hear. Like if they said I'm 13 and pregnant, I can't tell my parents... and you say you need to tell your parents and see a doctor, they rate you a 1 because they wanted you to instead feel sorry for them and stuff like that.

I really like outfit two, it's definitley a good choice. And if tomorrow isn't your last day, then wear outfit one the next day because they're both completely cute. Or atleast for the first one... depending on the shade of green and stuff.

ok. im a freshman , or i was last yr. and i just got my report card in the mail. i didnt do to good but i dosn't say anywhere if i passed or not? i only got a 1.4 GPA and 5 credits and my mom isnt to happy .but it dont say if i got promoted to my sophmore year?? can anyone possibly help me out. thanx

Well were any of your final grades F's? If they were all A,B,C,or D's, then you've passed.

Actually only if all your required classes were D's and above. If any of your electives (encores) were failing then that's okay...

But it should say somewhere if you've passed.
I'm still anxious to get mine beucase I want to know how I did, but anyway... is there a time and number of when you can contact the school or a guidance councilor about whether or not you have been promoted.
With a 1.4 GPA I doubt that you've been promoted (not to sound pessimistic) but there's always that chance. You need to get in touch with someone from the school who can answer your questions for you.

How much trouble are you willing to get into?

Find random teachers, maybe even the principles e-mail adress and send these to them making up a good story.
Do it at a public library, not at a school or home where you can be traced (it's not like it's bad or like you would be traced, but you have to take every precaution) and if by some miracle chance a teacher actually does it, then make like a bunch of copies of the answers you get and post them in bathrooms and stuff.
You can even do it to people you don't like, just make sure you don't get caught.

Or just find a way to get people you dislike to answer embarassing questions and post the answers around school (like say it's for a poll in the yearbook, but do it through e-mail so they won't know it's you)

Or get dirty pictures and sneak them into the principles office, and put a stack of each in class rooms or some place where students will find them...

Or bring condoms and stuff to school and put them all over the place, in the halls... just make sure you don't get caught... that's suspension right there... maybe after school or saturday school if you're lucky. But hey it's all good because nothing is seriously on your permanent record until high school... good luck and have fun!

Or tie tampons to people book bags, but like make them look pretty or something, just be creative and don't get caught.

I got mine for the first time march 20th or something and I haven't gotten it at all since.
So if there's something wrong with you, then there's something wrong with me.
But I'm pretty sure it's normal. Periods will be irregular for the first few months-years. We're just lucky for now.

There is this guy "friend" of mine that I met last year. After a while we were fully aquainted, we started hanging out. I really think he likes me because he has always treated me with respect and kindness. I went to his house the other day, and we started "fooling around". That is SO NOT true!!!! He is just going to use you for sex. Friends with benefits is never a good idea. It leads to the ruin of friendship, emotional problems, and other things.
Besided you are waaay too young to be worried about sex. At your age, making out is far enough. I mean yeah, I know people who have gone much further with out sex at your age, but still with all the risks of STD's and pregnancy, and just emotional stuff, it isn't that great of an idea.

He's also taking advantage of you. "I just got over a really bad situation with the last person I was with."
I mean hello... reality check (not to sound mean) but that would be obvious...
