when you go to get a physical.. sumtimes yoou have to pee in a cup right? well can they tell by ur urin if you have smoked weed.. cuz i thought that when you go they get a urin sample to see if you have done drugs?? or maybe im thinking of sumthing else.?? PLEASE I RATE HIGH

you won't have to pee in a cup unless you tell the doctor that you are having problems down there, like if it stings or hurts when you pee. or if you parent/guardian requests a drug test, yes they can tell if you've smoked week but only if you've done it within the past couple months!

Well yes, I assume when they take urine samples that they do look for drugs, and weed is a drug that is illegal. So naturally, yes, a urine sample will show if you've done any sorts of drugs (weed, crack cocane, ectasy). It's nothing else,AND YOU'RE RIGHT ABOUT THE THEORY YOU CAME UP WITH. Goodluck and have a nice day. Although there are ways to get around from the doctor finding weed in your system. Alright , here's it. Don't intake any sorts of drugs 72 hours before the appointment. Lay off it. If you have vinegar , I know it sounds ridiculous, that'll help cleanse you good, then use it. Don't smoke it any hours less than 72 hours. It would be good if you started it right now. Yessums you can get checked for smoking weed. Its scary I got drunk like once ever in my life and some dude gave me weed I was sooo scared like literally like they told me if you smoke it constantly it takes a month to get out of your system but you should try eating stuff with Vinegar in it because that helps like get it out of your system faster so like eat pickles and stuff like that. But yeah they can check now if you did it once like me then it will be out of your system in 2days!! Hope I helped!

it actually depends on which tests they conduct. i'm not sure if your doctor will check for that. they can tell by your urine if you have been smoking weed, but only if they run the right test.

Well the reason you get a urin sample is to chck the insides of your body. And yess that means they can tell if youve been doin drugs. Well yes they can tell if you have smoked weed in your urine sample, but they would have to do special tests that cost a lot of money, and someone would have to pay for that.Since you are just getting physical, and your parents, or the insurance company is paying,I don't think they will be testing for drugs, unless your parents ask them too, and pay the extra fee. It can be as much as 75dollars.
When you get a physical and they ask for a urine sample they are check for two things. sugar in your urine which would tell them that you are a diabetic,and blook or perhaps white blood cells that would tell them that you have an infection.
If you have your period when you go, you have to tell them incase they do check for blood, and they find some, they will know that it came from your period.

The point of a Urin test is to see if your doing drugs idiot. Your probaly high righrt now ebcause your freaking out because i know your not on weed because no ones that stupid. it matters how long ago you smoked it. If it was years or months ago then no a week or two? yes. Good-Luck I just got a phyiscal about 30 minutes ago!!!!!! Its so gay and lame but you have to state says so!

Well yes, they can tell if you smoke weed by urine testing. Thats what our school does to test athletes and stuff.
I'm not sure if thats what they use the urine for during physical appointments.
But I'm 14 and they haven't done the urine test on me since like 2 or 3 physicals ago...
Anywho, I always just thought they did it to make sure you're healthy, such as no STD's or something.
If you do smoke week, drink as much water as you can and run a lot. Also, don't smoke within a week AT LEAST of your physical (if it's not for another week) if your physical say isn't for another 2 weeks try really hard not to smoke until then, that way you won't really have to bother with the water and running. But seeing that I'm not 100% positive whether they use the urine testing to test if you're on drugs, then I guess my advice isn't the best, but if you do smoke drugs, first you should quit, but second take all the precautions you can and stay away from weed at LEAST one week before the physical, drink lots of water, and get a lot of excercise.
