i have a sore throat, i have these sores on my tongue and my gums are red and are like taking over my teeth. litterally. is this normal because my gums kinda hurt and its just plain scary.. can someone tell me whats wrong ?

There are many things that may be wrong. The possibilities are endless. See a dentist or hygentist as soon as possible. That's the best advice anyone here can give.

OK, see I'm going out with this guy...and he's really really sweet and nice and everything, he's what I think every girl would want. I'm a 27 year old female.For the first time in a long while I'm actually happy to be single. I have my own appartment and a part time job, and was thinking that if I was dating someone I probably couldnt affort to have all the nice things like movies, cd's, and nice furniture, because I would be spending it on my bf. I was also thinking how nice it is not to have the responsiblility of looking after children. A lot of the ladies I work with at the store have kids and they are always so stressed out. I have it made- I only answer to myself and can come and go as I please. The money I make is spent on myself and doesnt go to pay for anyone else.

No, you're not being selfish. You are doing very well and don't want it to end, that's fine. When the opportunity arrives to have a good relationship then take t. But right now live life how you want.

Resizing it in paint cuts out some of the picture. However if you don't care press ctrl+e. If you want to keep the whole thing make an account on photobucket. Upload it then resize it by clicking the edit button.

You need to change your age. Myspace automatically sets people under 16 to private. Go to edit profile and click on basic info. You can change it there.

First off all if you are not ready to tell him this you don't have to. But if you are you just have to come out and say it. It doesn't have to be big and dramatic just say it. If you can't get the words out of your mouth write him a note. Write everything you like about him and at the bottom write I love you in big letters.

The other day I fried my hair. I was in a hurry so while my hair was still slightly damp I straightened it. Now it feels like straw, its breaking off very easily, and I cannot style it. I've used several products and conditioned it several times but it will not go back to being soft and healthy. Is there anything I can do?

You need an oil treatment. There are do-it-yourself oil treatments but unless you've done it before I wouldn't recommend it. Go to a salon to get it done. While you are there ask if there are any products to prevent this from happening again.

well ive got some problems. I ahve had some bad thots like suicidal and stuff and keep thinking to myself what i have the power to do and stuff. well i am also really depressed sometimes and fake with people. thers only one person im true to but thast besides the point. It sounds like you may be suffering from depression. Depression is caused by a hormonal imbalance in your brain. Talk to a doctor and see if you can get on paxil or a differnet depression pill. Also ask your parents if you can see a professional. A phsycologist (sp?) or if this is extremely bad depression a phsycatrist (sp?).

i really want a baby really bad. like i dont want one for "love" like most of those other girls out there but i think i can really do it and raise a child. ive been having dreams for monthes and ive wanted a baby since i was little but down its been driving over the edge. every night i dream about being pregnant and i want it to be real so badly! im not worried about the money or anything like that but mostly how my parents will react. i think i can haddle it and my parents say i am always great with children and i really feel like god wants me to do this or something.

what should i do?

First plan to sit down and talk to your parents about this. Tell them you feel you are ready to rasie a child of your own. If they go for this great, if not explain to them what you've told us here. Next step is finding a man to be the father. It's good you don't want it to be just anyone. You should be dating a while and have really known him first. Also respect his wishes if he is not ready for sex. But it's great that you are planning to have a baby. Just make sure you know all the facts that you need to know before you get pregnant.

Depends what you are doing. Straight would be best for a small gathering of friends, curly best for a party. Down no matter what.

Okay, my hair is naturally very wavy, but like..ugly waves. I've tried the scrunching thing countless times and I can't seem to get my hair to look the way it does on other ppl. My hair's very thick, this may be the cause of that, but idk. I use Brilliant Brunette Gel, and Spray. I've tried other sprays, but they left my hair sticky and messy.

Can anyone maybe tell me how LONG I should scrunch my hair for? And how MUCH gel should i use? After I'm done scrunching I usually use my diffuser in about an hour or so, and it dries my hair, but it never looks as wavy as I want it. It just looks like my natural hair, which I don't like. If you think you know what I'm doing wrong, please tell me.

Use mouse instead of gel. It dries faster and makes it less frizzy. I know blow-dryers are not the best thing for your hair but if you blow dry once you get it to look the way you want t will be much easier.

Hey guys. well i just got my cartillage pierced on my right ear and its only a little stud. Well, i play basketball and we can wear earings during practice as long as there not dangly, but we have a game on wednesday and i just got my piercing done this previous wednesday. do you think it would be ok if i took it out for an hour while i play in the game or will it close up?

There is a very good chance of it closing up. Ask your coach if you can bandage or tape it. Bandaging is safer because cartillages close up easily.

Well, I got my dad two watch bands because his always break. But they're like $20 each. However, my 60 year old social studies teacher was telling us about his favorite gift from his daughters. It was a letter thanking him for all he has done. DON'T INCLUDE MATERIAL THINGS. If you do that he'll remember it forever.

Nothing is wrong. The age range for girls to start there period is 9-16 (yep 7 years). So you're fine. Also it seems you have already had your period. Don't woory for the first year, usually more, your period would be very irregular. It could be six monthes until you have it again, but that is normal. People have discharge for years before they get their period. You're fine.

At the begining of the year my biology honors teacher had us fill out a form about us. It asked what we wanted to be careerwise. I put that I wanted to be a journalist. The other day he read off what everyone wanted to be. The other kids wanted to be surgeons, and marine biologists..all really important things. When he got to my name he said "Journalist!....Good luck with that. She'll never get a job"

I was so embarassed! Everyone else had really important careers picked out and mine was so stupid. I'm not sure if I want to be a journalist anymore but now I have no idea what I want to do. I have to look at colleges next year and I have no clue what I want to major in. Can anyone help me?

First off, most people change their major sevral times in college before they settle on one. Start with whatever interests you. Next journalism is an excellent career! Journalism is extremely important, as well as the other jobs. Journalists are responsible for spreading news and facts to the masses. Think of it in terms of money. He's a teacher. That's all I have to say. They don't get paid as much as journalists.
