What to get my dad?
You guys are probably annoyed with the questions about Christmas presents, but I really need help. I have presents for everyone except my dad and I need some ideas! I can spend up to $30 and gosh, he's so hard to shop for. But I was wondering, what are you guys getting for your dad?

I'm not annoyed by it...i was in the same situation!! so i was at target and my dad isn't one of those sports fans or anything and i gave up on trying to find a shirt of some sort so i got him a $10 gift certificate. (it's basically his money anyway soo yeah.) that's just me tho. <3

What's his personality like? What are his interests?
If he's a sports guy, get him something that has his favorite baseball/basketball/hockey/football team's logo. If he likes PLAYING sports, get him a football/basketball/whatever.
Funny guy? Get him a gag gift, or a t-shirt with a funny saying on it.
Businessman? Get him a nice set of pens, a clock, or a watch.
Music guy? Get him a CD by his favorite musician/band. See if his favorite band has a concert DVD out.
Is he a reader? Get him a book by his favorite author, or a gift card from a book store. A book light is a good choice, and so is a bookmark.
Movie guy? Get him a movie he's been wanting, or a movie you think he'll like. You can also make a 'gift basket' with a movie, some soda, and popcorn. You can even get him a gift card to your nearest movie rental store.
The safest thing is probably a shirt. Maybe a funny shirt, or something. They have shirts for everything now, so it's a pretty safe choice. :o)

do you know of any hobbies he is into? I am 14. I got my dad a salt water fishin poll, cuz he is always workin on this piece of crap he calls a boat, and when it works-someday-he'll want to go fishin on it. Sooooooooo........(it was only $38, not bad for a nice rod......)

I got my dad a gift certicate to his favortie place to eat which is Applebees.. So get something similar would be great and you can never go wrong! Best of luck ♥ Dez

His favorite candy, coffee mugs/ canisters/ ext. from if you have one.. tim hortons.. or something similar from like .. dunkin donuts or someplace like that .. tools, movies, cds. Its so hard to buy for dads !! Lol. Hope you find something great.

I got my dad a toothpaste for dinner t-shirt.. its a comic.
But I got my mom this really good book called "A Million Little Pieces" by James Frey.

Well, I got my dad two watch bands because his always break. But they're like $20 each. However, my 60 year old social studies teacher was telling us about his favorite gift from his daughters. It was a letter thanking him for all he has done. DON'T INCLUDE MATERIAL THINGS. If you do that he'll remember it forever.

i got him some tools and stuff because he does a lot of work.. but it would be cute just to get him anything with like " number one dad " on it or something what does your dad do for a job.. maybe that can give you some ideas..

Well, I am getting my dad "Misery", a Oktoberfest Mug, and Tickets to the Wailers. But the big secret gift is that my friend's mom's boyfriend owns the club that they are going to be playing, and I've convinced her to get signatures for me.
