My period started early today and im going shopping tomorrow!! It wouldnt be a problem or anything but i have really heavy periods and the 2nd day is always the heaviest. Jbdreamer is right, you are going to have to learn how to deal with this kind of thing. Change your pad right before you leave, bring a couple with you so you can change them if necessary and change again as soon as you get home.

With legs it's okay to shave in the opposite direction to the hair. If you want to make sure they are extra smooth, then shave the opposite way then the same way to remove any extra hairs.

You will just have to wait until they go. I went paintballing with some friends a couple of months ago and one friend got badly hit on her neck. It has only just gone, you will just have to wait. You could try rubbing a cream such as Arnica, which is specially for things like bruises and such, on it every evening to speed things up but I'm not sure if it would work.

You have got to the point where you are physically relying on this guy and that is never good. You shouldn't let a guy take over your life so that you can't live without him and that you make yourself ill. I honestly don't think you really love him, sure you may like him a lot but love is only love if the feeling is mutual. There is no easy way to get over people, just spend time with your friends and do things to take your mind off it. Eventually I promise you that you will get over him, it could take months, years, whatever but eventually you will. Try to meet new people and get out there. I think some of your problem stems from self confidence so try to build that up too, tell yourself you are great and that you are a good person, believe me it works. It took me months to get over my first serious boyfriend and it's taken me longer to get confident, I'm still working on that. Have faith in yourself and eventually I swear to you, you will get there.

I think it would be really cool if on the computer you pasted pictures of some of the artist on the CDs onto a beach scene. If you're not too keen on that then have a collage of pictures of the artists or just a beach scene.

I was looking at your column and I was just wondering how you do your make up, please could you tell me?
Sure, here we go.
Firstly I use a pale foundation (to match my natural complexion) all over my face and blend it in. Next I powder my whole face with translusent powder to take away shine and to even things out. Then I line my top eyelid with black eyeliner but not too much. Next I use an eye shadow applicator sponge to brush a pale shimmery eye shadow accross my upper eyelid and just below my lower lash line. After that, I line it with the same black eyeliner that I use on my top lid. Then I get a black eyeshadow and apply it carefully on top of the eyeliner on my lower lash line. Next I cover the opposite end to the sponge on an eye shadow brush with the corner of a face wipe and gently run it under my eye to neaten up the lines. Finally I apply black mascara to both my upper and lower lashes.

Firstly, Mr. Brightside is not 'skatorish' as you put it. Mr. Brightside is by The Killers and they are an indie rock band. I'm not all that sure what you mean by 'skatorish', I'm guessing you would like bands such as Blink 182, Limp Bizkit, Papa Roach, Sum 41, Taking Back Sunday, Yellowcard, most emo bands etc. I also think Lostprophets would be good for the type of music I think you mean.

This is more of a suggestion than a question. Your one of my favorite columnist, so I was going to check out your column today, but I couldn't read it. The blue on black is impossible to read. A black (dark) background for type is really hard on the eyes. You may want to rethink your color choices.
I can read it fine, maybe the colours show up diffferently on your browser. If it is really that much of a problem then I'll think about changing them.

I hate these types of questions but right now I am very into naming kids with weird/unique names so I have about three that I like. The first one is Erin, it's quite normal really but it's still slightly unique. The second one is Arial. Give it a chance to grow on you because it's really quite nice. Lastly, the name Olive. It's a prettier version of Olivier and it's much more unique.
