i like this one girl, and she's really sweet. we've made out a couple of times, but we don't have a serious relationship. my mom is threatening to disown me because of our relationship. not because we're both girls, but because she's also my sister's daughter. but i think that my mom is completely over-reacting, because i really like this girl. should i continue to see this girl and strengthen our relationship, or should i break it off so my mom loves me again?

Maybe if the girl you liked wasn't related to you, then you could continue seing the girl and strengthen you relationship with her, but this is a totally different situation. she's your niece. you shouldn't date more specifically make out with family. The other advisor is correct, that is incest. I also wonder how old this girl is? Just because the relationship is two girls, does not mean that it could not be a matter of sexual harrasement and you stand the chance of being arrested and branded a sexual predator. I know a girl that this happened to. She was three years older than the other girl, and that girl was under 16. No one oer 16,is allowed, bylaw to have sex with someone under 16, even if the minor child is willing. YOu may be under 16, that does not mean that you are out of the woods. What would your sister do if she found out. She could have you arrested. I think you should let this young girl alone and let her grow up and mature until she is old enough to decide whether or not she likes girls or guys. She is too young to be making those decision now, and you are only confusing her. If you keep this up, know that she is too young and you are an influence on her, then you are a sexual predator. There is a small matter of the fact that it is highly illegal- its INCEST. Not a nice word to be associated with. Think you should break off this partnership before it gets complicated, i know you cant help who you like but you will meet someone else and you dont want to destroy your family relationship do you?

It is wrong to have a relationship with your niece. It's illegal, it is incest. Can't you see your mother's point of view on this? It is wrong. It's fine to have relationships with black people, anyone from any different culture, other girls, guys, whatever but family members? I think it is legal to have relationships with cousins and more distant reletives but you can't be doing this with your niece. End it now before it causes furthur problems.
