I have 15 tattoos, and 8 piercings. I'm married and just gave birth to a baby boy in May. I'm currently a SAHM so you can find me taking care of my son and binge-watching television while he naps.

I just have a few quick questions on tampons. I have used them before, once or twice. I was in gym one day and one of the girls had told me that if I use a tampon in the water, there is a chance the tampon will absorb some water from the pool. Is this true? With a regular tampon? And is there any chance I'll leak in the pool? With a regular tampon?

Also, I've tried a few times to look up TSS online, but I really don't understand it. Can you please explain it to me a bit?

The tampon won't absorb the water. People actually recommend swimming with a tampon because a pad will absorb the water, and it's just gross. Your period stops when in water (you can notice it if you take a bath, it doesn't happen in showers) so you may not leak but there's always a chance. So go ahead & wear a tampon in water, you'll be okay.

As far as TSS goes, it's a really rare but serious disease. It is fatal. It only happens when people only wear tampons & wear them for longer than 8 hours. It has flu like symptoms such as a high fever that's over 102 degrees. It also has a rapid drop in blood pressure which can cause one to feel lightheaded or even faint. There's also a sunburn type rash, vomiting & diarrhea, severe muscle aches or weakness, and bright red coloring of your eyes, throat, and vagina. There's also headache, seizures and organ failure.

It's a very serious disease so you have to be sure to switch it up. I would suggest a tampon every other day and a pad every other day during your period. :)

do friends suggest to each other that they should fall asleep on the phone together?

My guy friend and I were on the phone last night and he suggested that we fall asleep on the phone together. We are both single and same age.(18)..We been friends for about 16 months>

Let me just start out by saying that I am in a comitted relationship with my boyfriend and I trully love him a lot. But there's this other guy that I met at my new job and he sortve developed a crush on me. Now I'm not the type to cheat on anyone so that's out of the question. You said you have no plans on cheating, and you don't plan on leaving your boyfriend for this guy, so why not just be his friend?

You can enjoy another guy's company while dating someone. I have guy friends who's company I enjoy and I'm in a committed relationship.

Just be his friend. You don't have to be anything more. The thought shouldn't even cross your mind.

i think about 3-4 weeks ago i took a pregnancy test because i thought i was late for my period and i had unprotected sex. it came up negative.
THEN i remembered that i had actually had my last period from june 3-6. so technically it wasnt late.
the problem is, now its almost august and i still havent gotten it. could the test had come negative because it was before my missed period ?
and plus i just threw up a little bit this mornin, which made me worry again because i feel fine. plus im super moody. i get headaches but thats normal for me, and backaches as well.

ive had unprotected sex once after i took the test with my boyfriend, but he didnt cum in me or anythin.

is there a good chance im pregnant even though the test came out negative ?

You may have taken the test too early the first time which is why it came out negative. Sometimes you're not pregnant yet so the test will come out negative.

Also, stressing or worrying about being pregnant will make your body trick you. It'll make you think you're pregnant even though you're not. I've had this happen to me a few times, but the negative test was a relief. :)

Anyways, take another test. Chances are the first one was taken too early which is why it didn't show. Take another & see what's up. If you're pregnant, go see a doctor.

So my 14th birthday is coming up in august and I have been seriously thinking about getting a tattoo.
I mean seriously thinking hard.
I want to get a small quarter size peace sign on the center of my left foot.
It would symbolize this,
I intend to walk a life of spreading peace.
Also, it would remind me of my Jesus.
I know it's probably illegal at my age, but I've though about this for a very long time.
And putting it in a place where it won't stretch badly over time.
My mom actually likes the meaning of it too.
Is it illegal?
Is it a bad place to put it when I get old enough to get one if it's illegal?

It is most definitely illegal to get a tattoo at 14. Most places will not tattoo anyone under 18 regardless of parental consent. So, you'll have to wait until you're 18.

As far as the tattoo goes, putting it on your foot is okay. I just suggest that you realize the foot is usually a painful place because the foot is usually bony. I've got 3 tattoos and was going to put one on my foot but opted out because I have bony feet. I'd put it either on your shoulder, your hip or your wrist or something. Don't put it anywhere super visible.

I know most places require a 16 or 17 year old to have a work permit when it comes to having job. It's a simple thing to get as well so you really won't have to go through too much trouble to obtain one.

However, the only way to work without a permit is 18. Sorry. :(

So I was just thinking, and I'm getting kinda worried... Is it true that when you enroll for school, they give out locker numbers out in order? Do you know what I mean? (I'm a freshman in high school by the way.) Like if one person enrolls and gets locker #387, would the person right after them get locker #388? Is it true that if you enroll before or after (or on the same day) with your friend(s) you'll have lockers close to them or right by them? Maybe it depends on the school, but I'm just curious. I think I'm enrolling on the last day possible and this is not giving me a good feeling. I really don't want a 'bad' locker or anything. Can anyone give me any info on this? Sorry if this was confusing!

To be honest, I'm not really sure. Every school has a different system when it comes to assigning lockers.

At mine, they went by alphabetical order & by hallways.

For instance, we had the N hall, the E hall, the W hall and the S hall.

In 9th grade, I had a locker upstairs. In 10th grade, I had a locker in the N hall, and in 11th grade I had a locker in the W hall. If I had finished my schooling, I'd have had a locker in the S hall. Those are the halls for every grade so when you move up a grade you get switched to a new hall. For us, we were also next to the same people all 4 years when it came to lockers.

But, every school is different and it may not be like that. I'm sure you'll be okay with the locker you're given. We can't always be next to our friends, but maybe your lockers will be close enough where you can still chat a little before class.

So here's the thing. I just graduated high school.I'am only seventeen years old and I'am honestly fed up with my friends. Not to be mean,but i really have outgrown them.I just feel like I'am more mature then them and therefore I need mature friends.All of them "claim" that they are grown now because they are 18 and i just feel like thats bull.To me everybody's in a competion with one another.And I hate to say this but I feel like I dont have strong friends at all.One friend just cant let a boy she dated go.He cheated and he has TWO,yes..TWO kids.I mean,come on!! What will it take.I also have one friend who is so lazy and isnt committed to anything.They are very smart girls but for some odd reason I cant help but to think they have no back-bone.I'am a strong girl and i need strong people around me for support when i cant be.I feel like I'am forever Baby-sitting and i'am the youngest out the group.I forgot to mention that they are all bad influences.They are forever sprung off guys and that cant be good.They only bother with some dudes just to have sex with them and thats not my thing.But they never forget to make me feel like a baby because i dont have sex.My life means everything to me and i dont want to waste it being around negative people.I have hopes and dreams and very important goals and I just feel that they will slow down my purpose.Am I wrong for wanting to hang with a new crowd or Am I a sell out? I think you're being very harsh.

While you have every right to be disappointed in your friend for not being over this guy, she doesn't really need you bitching at her either. Their relationship is over, and he's no good for her. BUT while that may be the case, it's unfair to be mad at her because she's taking time to get over him. That's not fair of you. It takes time to get over people you really like - especially when they do really hurtful things to you. I know it makes sense to move on and move on quick, but everyone heals at different paces and you can't rush someone when it comes to mending their heart.

As for your other friend, she probably just lacks inspiration. I'm sure she'll get motivated sooner or later. You need to remember that not everyone goes straight to college after graduating. Some people take a year off, some people take a semester off. Everyone is different and you have to accept that.

I don't think you're wrong for wanting to make new friends, but to ditch your old friends just because they have a little issues seems bitchy to me, and I'm sure if they did that to you, you'd probably really hurt. Treat others how you'd like to be treated. Not everyone can be as goal oriented or as quick to get over someone. You have to understand that.

Everyone does a different thing.

Me and my boyfriend have been together for a year, and used to celebrate every month. Now we only celebrate every 3 months. We still acknowledge our monthly anniversaries, we just don't do much about it.

You don't always go out on dates when celebrating an anniversary. There's a lot of different things you can do. Sometimes me and my boyfriend go bowling, or to dinner & a movie. For our one year anniversary, we went to Vegas.

Like I said, everyone does a different thing so there's not really much to get sick of.

i share a room with my little sister right now. i am 13 which means i am a teen now and i need my own room. it would give me more privacy and some peace and quiet. i need someone to tell me how to ask my parents into letting me have my own room.

This question made me laugh when I saw it.

First off, just because you're 13 doesn't mean you need shit. You don't need your own room and you certainly don't deserve one just because of age. Having your own room is a privilege, just like riding the school bus, or having a snack before dinner. You don't NEED or DESERVE it. You cannot demand to have your own room.

If I had shared my room with my brother, and would've asked for my own room at 13, my parents would've laughed right in my face. Luckily, I've had my own room since birth & just started sharing a room about 6 months ago.

I guess you should just ask but as soon as you say you need one just because of age, I can almost guarantee you'll hear a NO.

My bf of 4 years told me to take a break about three days ago...i dont understand why he would ask me that bcoz he was the one who messed up..we constanly aruged becoz his girl friends from school kept texting him, and it really bothered me alot..i even cried and told him that i dont appreciate them texting you and he seemed to not do anything about it...so we got into this really deep arugement about the girls texting him....n now he wants a break..i dont understand why he would want to take a break instead of trying to change and work things out for me....He thinks that since we been together for long and wanna get married in the future that its ok for him to take advantage of me and do wat he wants bcoz imma always be with him..idk what to do.....im just really mad that he taking a break with me...

I don't think you have a right to be mad at him. You cannot stop your boyfriend from having female friends, just as he cannot stop you from having male friends. That is unfair to both of you.

I understand that 4 years is a long time, but being with someone for a long time doesn't mean you're allowed to be their mother too. You are not entitled to tell your boyfriend who he can & cannot be friends with. Same goes to your boyfriend telling you.

He's not taking advantage of you. He just wants friends & you're holding him back. If he wanted to cheat on you, he probably would've done so by now.
