16th birthday

Question Posted Thursday July 30 2009, 3:36 am

My 16th birthday is coming up and my friends and family keep asking what I want. I have no idea what I want, plus I really don't like letting people buy me stuff. Any ideas for gifts I could ask for? Theres a ring that I want but it's too expensive. Here's the website. [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

I would just ask for money. Since you don't like people buying you stuff, you can just ask for money and that way you can buy what you want.

ask family for the ring. they can all pitch in a lil bit so you can get it. they wont have a problem gettin you one thing i dont think.

and as for friends and others, you can ask them to buy books or toys, and you can donate them to a library, orphanage, or other charities in your area. that way you dont have to worry about askin people for things for YOU and you help others out :)

happy early birthday !

Gift Cards! That should do the trick!
I dont know if you've heard of it, but there's this gift card called 'Simon' and basically you can use it anywhere that takes a Visa credit card. So basically your family can put money on it and you can spend it anywhere.

If not, then you can always let them know about the ring and have them chip in all together like the person below me said. That's also a good idea.

Tell your family and friends that you love this ring thats expensive and maybe they can get together and get you a visa gift card. They can each put a little money on it. Then you can add some of your money to it. I give my kids gift cards all time because I don't know what to get them anymore.
