ok im 13 f and i really want a new wardrobe because ive been starting to stop wearing hollister and aeropostel and start moving on to like forever 21 wet seal etc. so i really want more clothes but my mom thinks i have enough clothes but i really want newer clothes since mostly all my shirts say hollister and aero and stuff like that. but she still will say no but i really want to have a better style and not as boring especially for winter? what are some ways i can get her to get me newer clothes and go shopping?? Try taking your clothes to consignment shops to get some money back for them, like Plato's Closet.
Do chores without being asked or without asking for something in return, to show your mom that youre being responsible (which you should always do in the first place).
Thrift stores are AWESOME because what youre finding at forever 21 is a remake of all the old clothes you could find on your own. I shop at thrift stores all the time to find cute clothes.
Try to babysit, wash cars, etc.. for a little extra cash. When I was youre age, Id sell jewelry I made, wash neighbors cars, and babysit.
Things you want should be earned. New clothes arent a necessity so you have to earn them. Good luck!

I have recently started stretching my ears...i am at a 18g. I want to skip gauge sizes and get down to an 8g pretty soon. I only want to buy 1 pair of gauges so i dont have to keep buying size bigger after size. So would it be safe if i would skip sizes??? or would i get a blowout?? (link)

You could definitly blow out your ear if you skip that many sizes. I blew out mine when I went from a 14 to a 4 which hurt pretty badly. I know gauges are expensive which makes it tempting to skip sizes, but you should really try to avoid injury. Ask your friends if any of them have gauges you can borrow. Or buy fewer sizes of the ones that gradually go from small to big, just dont put them all the way in right away. Get your ears ready by massaging the lobes and pulling on them like youre stretching them. Good luck !

I can't see ghosts at least not currently but I'm nervous. NY great grandmother (who has passed away maybe a year ago or more) I guess used to see ghosts. My dad told me this and my dad told me she would tell him that they would sit on her bed next to her and watched her. She moved downstairs and they followed her there. The thing that freaked me out the most was that my dad said he fully believed her with no doubt. They were always very close. But that weirded me out because the job that he has well you wouldn't think he would be into all that stuff. I'm just nervous they might be attracted to me. I know it's been a while and I try to ignore every little thing so nothing does happen but I do hear footsteps and stuff but I won't get into too much detail. My dad says that we have harmless spirits in our house and when I was real little I can almost swear I saw a mans figure in front if my doorway. But I probably imagined that. I'm just nervous. Idk how old she was when she started seeing them and I think I'm gonna go ask my dad right now but I'm just nervous! Plus I got a new puppy and she will whine at nothing. But she is a puppy but if she continues to do that when she gets older I will be scared! Thanks!

The paranormal can be a bit scary. Honestly you would most likely know if you were dealing with something that wanted to harm you in anyway. What youre hearing sounds like nothing to be frightened over.
My advice, do NOT try to contact it. Dont talk to it, dont try ouija boards or anything like it, and dont try to capture evidence of it. This is welcoming it to talk to you, touch you etc. And you dont want that.
Sorry to say this, but you just have to try to ignore it unless it becomes violent or malicious. Then youd have to take action.

Itd be cool to take her to a local park or nature preserve, and set up an eisel, a canvas and some paint, or just some drawing utensils and paper. Also bring some music if possible and a picnic. Id love if a guy did that for me :) Also, try to look for some art museums or cool natural trails in your area. Hope i helped :)

Three things I believe are huge factors:
-Curiosity: everyones a little curious about what it would be like to be with the same sex. And the taboo on it makes it a little more exciting or risky, which is appealing to many.
-Body: women are naturally more attractive. Curves, long hair, make up, jewelry,..etc. way more easy on the eyes. Plus girls know the anatomy of another girl. You would know how tk touch her to make her feel good. Get it?
Emotionally: a girl can listen, a girl will cry with you, a girl will watch chick flicks with you. A girl knows how to comfort another girl, which could be ideal in a relationship. We know how each other work.

so i'll be a freshman this fall in college. I'm kind of a shy/quite girl around strangers, but when I"m with my friends I can really open up and be myself.
Short story- high school was hell for me. My high school had almost 4,000 kids total and it was really hard for me to fit in and find good friends. This year in college, i really want to change that. I want to make friends right away but I'm kind of clueless as to what to do. I'm not really the person who reaches out to other people.. i get kind of nervous when I talk to people i don't know. oh and my college is small. it has about 2,500 or 3,000 undergrads and its a D3 private school. So the class sizes will be a lot smaller than what i'm used to. my mom said its a good thing because it will allow me to be more myself in class, and not hide in the corner like high school lol. (link)

Well obviously you can make friends since you have close ones, so thats a good start. What would your close friends say about you? Funny? Nice? Smart? Chill? Roll with that.
I know its not easy to put yourself out there to complete strangers but here are a few tips I use.
1. Compliments. Easy as pie. I mean dont go overboard or anything. For example, if someone next to you has a shirt on that you like, tell them you like it! Either itll open up conversation like 'oh you like that band/store/mall...etc' or the person is shy. This really works though.
2. This sounds really weird, but make yourself think youre the most pretty, cool, awesome person in the group youre talking to. I dont mean that you act like a stuck up bitch, but just have good posture, smile, laugh and comment at what people say like you are confident and happy with yourself and youre personality. Not everyones gonna like you, but if you like yourself others will too.
3. If your college has clubs for things that youre interested in, JOIN. What better way to meet people that have the same interests as you?

So my boyfriend was being mean to me today and I asked him why. He told me that he had a very visual dream about me. My guess was that I was having sex with another guy... Since that's all I knew and he didn't want to get into descriptions about it since he didn't want to think about it. So I was trying to hug him and I told him, "it was just a dream.. And I'm here with you." And he pushed me away and told me not to touch him or anything. He's usually not like that, and I said that as well.. And his response was, "well this was one of the clearest dreams I've ever had. It scarred me. I remember everything including the sounds... I can't see you the same.
So for the rest of the day, he wouldn't hug me, kiss me, and he didn't seem very happy to hold my hand. So what am I supposed to do? He didn't want to talk about it. He won't let me touch him. So do I just give him some space to get over it?? And do you think he had that dream because he has some sort of insecurities?? (link)

I got my belly button pierced about a week ago. I clean it with salt water and I put antibiotic ointment on it. I clean it 4 times a day and add the ointment on every time I clean it. But now there is a red circle around the piercing about the size of the top ball and its peeling. It doesnt hurt anymore unless it gets snaged or its pushed on. I dont touch with my hands not even to put the ointment on I use qtips. In the morning there is crusties but I was told thats normal. What is wrong with my piercing? Is this normal? What do I do to fix it? Should I take it out? Please help. Thank you. (link)

Totally normal. The crust around the top is the skin trying to heal around the top. And its red, well, because you just stuck a piece of metal in your skin ;) just keep doing what you are, and dont pick at it or touch it. It sometimes can take longer to heal if it keeps getting snagged.

Its normal. The peeing sensation (unless you really had to pee) is most likely from hit hitting your 'g spot'. If you do some investigating yourself, its the rough part inside your vagina on the front side. When you get aroused it swells and becomes i think the size of a dime. It will make you feel like using the bathroom but if you stick through the fingering, its the most intense orgasm.
The only other reason this would happen is from tearing or stretching that would make it burn, but im almost positive its the first reason. Good luck

No matter what school, what grade, what workplace you end up at, there is always going to be a bitch without a cause. Yes its stupid and annoying, but probably the only reason she does this is to get a rise out of you and make herself feel better or cooler. Honestly, as hard as it may be, i suggest you ignore it and act like it doesnt bother you. Then, what shes trying to do wont work. Obviously she is immature, and i applaud you for not already taking it a step further and being the bigger person.
Just laugh it off. She means nothing to you. Keep it that way. Think of how pathetic she is acting and that you arent willing to stoop to her level.

im a 17 year old with a 15 month old.
My symptoms were nausea, vomiting, constipation, mood swings / very emotional, painful breasts, slight weight gain, acne, and increased appetite. I didnt find out until I was 2.5 months along.
youll just have a test, then the doctor will talk with you about your options. its completely confidential.
If you plan on carrying the baby, you go to the doctor every 1-2 months, and the visits will get closer together. Youll get ultrasounds, maybe a papsmear, and other tests throughout your pregnancy.

So, I'm a 18 year-old boy. And i would say that i am very different from the guys i know my age. It seems like all the other guys are so easily able to control themseleves with girls. But for me, its hard.
For some reason, i am always thinking about girls, and i feel jealous, left out, horny, you know. And i dont wanna think about girls anymore. A lot of guys your age feel this way. A lot of girls feel this way. I have before anyways. Id always be looking for guys approval, hoping they liked me, confused about how to act.. Etc. I began telling myself that theyre just like me, probably feel the same way, and that theyre just other human beings like myself. Its hard, but you need to have this mentality. Just look at girls only as potential FRIENDS for now. Everyone worries about the opposite sex, some people just mask it a little better than others. This stage wont last forever.
In the meantime, find something to distract yourself. Fishing, hiking, biking, art, reading, writing, anything to
keep your mind busy and off your frustration.

There are verses in the bible that do say that homosexuality is wrong. But, that was in the old testament, which there are a lot of things (like sacraficing animals) that christians dont follow. I have a problem with this, because christians believe in 'loving everyone' yet theyll condemn homosexuals. I myself am not christian, just more spiritual. But I do believe you could maybe search for churches who are accepting of it.
unlike the advisor said before me, I would not suggest trying to live straight. Its not who you are, and it would not only hurt you, but other people also (like your wife, children...etc).

I have been talking to this one guy and he started not texting me back yesterday. I knew he was busy but he didn't text me at all today. He also got pissed yesterday and shut me out so I left him alone. But usually when I tell him good morning he always replies and he didn't text me all day. You really need to calm down when he doesnt text you back. You both have your owns lives and you can't be glued to your phone 24/7. Having to check in witn someone constantly is like having another mother, and no guy wants that. Let him breathe, let him have some space. Dont always be the first one to text him good morning, and give him a while before you freak out because of no reply. You guys dont have to text EVERY DAY.
From what you wrote, i'm guessing yall dont see each other..? So thats probably why youre so paranoid and jealous. Try to explain it to him. But for now, let the situation cool down and dont text him unless he texts you.

its all about preference. Some people like blonde hair, some people like dark hair, blue eyes, brown hair. Blue eyes and blonde hair are typically the classic american look (even though its really european). I actually find that a little boring because I know a looot of people with it. As of right now I have brown hair and light brown eyes, and people think it makes me look more exotic, and once again, some people prefer that. I dont think I would look right with blue eyes and I like the color I have.
i'm sure people find it very pretty and I think its way better than getting colored contacts and bleaching your hair. Try to look outside the box and youll see there are many beautiful, NOT boring women out there that have dark features.
