Is it safe to skip gauge sizes?? I have recently started stretching my ears...i am at a 18g. I want to skip gauge sizes and get down to an 8g pretty soon. I only want to buy 1 pair of gauges so i dont have to keep buying size bigger after size. So would it be safe if i would skip sizes??? or would i get a blowout??

you can always buy a gauging kit online that has all the sizes that is as expensive as buying only TWO sizes.
go from 18 to 16, and skip 14 and go to 12 and then don't skip sizes once uve reached ten.. only size that is okay to skip without it hurting too bad is to go from 16 to 12. ]
You could definitly blow out your ear if you skip that many sizes. I blew out mine when I went from a 14 to a 4 which hurt pretty badly. I know gauges are expensive which makes it tempting to skip sizes, but you should really try to avoid injury. Ask your friends if any of them have gauges you can borrow. Or buy fewer sizes of the ones that gradually go from small to big, just dont put them all the way in right away. Get your ears ready by massaging the lobes and pulling on them like youre stretching them. Good luck ! ]
