It sounds like you don't enjoy your girlfriend you have right now.
So, don't date her if you don't enjoy her.
But, that doesn't mean go for the other girl right away, because you'll hurt your current girlfriend, when you don't really have to.

Well from the way you described them, seems like you like the preppy one. If you are dating a girl and feel like you should be dating someone else then brake up with her. It's only fair to the girl. Good luck

Figure out who you're more into. The dull girl, who you are currently dating, or the preppy/sporty girl who's smart. You need to decide who's better for you, and who you feel more attracted to.
