Hey Everyone :) I'm Kate and a level 2 mod on here. I've had this account since July 2004, so I've been on here since I was 13! Wow ... crazy for me to think how long ago that was. I will admit I don't check in as often as I once did, but being away at college, being in a sorority, and having a job when I'm not at school is very time consuming. My friend was forced to take a drug test by his mom and it he failed now shes callin his friends and tellin their parents to drug test their kids shes gonna call my dad soon and have my dad test me i want to know if its true that if you dont do marijuana often that it will clear out of your system faster than if you do it constantly?

Nope. I know people that smoke pot and it takes anywhere from 2 weeks to 30 days no matter how much you smoke.
One of my friends is on a sports team at school and they do random surprise drug tests, somehow that friend found out about it and she started running a whole lot and drinkin water saying that it would get it out of your system faster. I honestly don't know if that works or not.
But I agree with the person who said if you're 'rents ask just tell them the truth, that way, though you most likely will get punished, at least all trust won't be lost. A kid I know, Adam well his parents gave him a drug test once when he cam home completely stoned and they grounded him for an effing long time. You should really admit to it if they ask.
Or if you want to take the lying approach, my parents love the show Seinfeld so I was watching it with them once and one of the characters was taking drug tests and kept failing even though she doesn't smoke, it turns out it was the seeds in whatever muffins she was eating every morning.
Possibly poppyseeds, I'm not sure. But there are certain foods and medications that can make you fail a drug test. If you want to lie it wouldn't be hard, look up the info on what foods/seeds/harmless meds, will make you fail it CLEAR HISTORY AND DELETE COOKIES!, eat/take meds in front of your parents multiple times! Then if they give you the test and you come out negative, after they punish you say wait, I heard if you eat certain things/take certain meds it can make you fail a test, then show them what you've been eating or whatever, they'll feel guilty for not believing you and stuff.

I'd would rather you not do that, because lying is wrong (though I've lied to my parents to get outta trouble... I'm a hypocrite get over it haha)

Anyway, it usually takes about a month to get 420 outta your system, but it could possibly be less. Don't smoke anything for the next month or so, or at least until your dad gives you the test.
By the way, just because your friends mom gave your friend a test doesn't mean your dad will give you one.

well first i am 14/f, and anyone makes fun of my question in anyway, i will report you and get you banned. and well people who are willing to help, please help i need help ASAP. my problem is this. i am crushing on a gay guy. i just met him and he first denied that he was, but today he told me and my friend that he is gay. but he is fits so perfect for my dream prince. he likes stuff i like, and such. not to mention he is sooo hot.

I know I'm not any actual help, but that movie is all about "back in the day" when homosexualtiy was wrong, and men were the dominants in the household. Anyway, parents took their children to a camp to turn them straight. I never saw the ending, but I'm sure you'd be interested in the movie.

This might sound weird but i am 15 and turning 16 in May 06'. One thing that i'm concerned about is that i haven't gotten my period yet:-/! is that not normal? is it bad that i haven't gotten it yet? I mean im going to be a sophmore and i still haven't gotten it...please helpp!

Have you talked to your mom about it? Two family friends I know didn't get theirs until late 15 and early 16, so it's not abnormal. Are you into any sports? Especially sports that have to do with a lot of excercise, or keeping your weight low? Have you ever had any eating disorders such as anorexia nervosa, or bulemia or anything? Those are all things that can delay a period from coming. I got my period this year, I'm 14. You still have a little less than a year, but if you are really concerned you should consider talking to your mom about it, or any other female you feel comfortable talking to. I'm going to be a sophmore too, and I know a few girls who haven't gotten theirs, but mostly because they're really into sports and stuff.
Anyway, I hope I eased your mind a little, or gave you some ideas of why your period may be late. Also, I don't know if I mentioned it, but stress delays periods, even if you've never gotten it, stress can delay it from coming.

i'm just asking. ok, i'm new here. browsing thru some of the questions, i couldn't help noticing that some of the questions were made by 13-to-17-years-old people. is this a webpage for teenagers or just for everyone?need a little help here..

Anyone over 13. I'm only 14, but I know people on this site in their 40s.
I guess the adults are more experienced in life and don't need as much adice, or they just don't state their age when asking questions. I just answered a question on someone who needed help on which bible to carry on her wedding day, so there are adults. But in my opinion I see more adults answering than asking, but that isn't always true.
Anyway, no the site isn't just for teens, it's for anyone above the age of 13.

This is going to be the strangest question ever. My grandmother and my mother both carried a Bible as part of their bouquet for their weddings. I want to do the same. There are 4 possible Bibles that would fit the bill.
#1-Grandmother's Bible-She isn't around, and she wouldn't let my mom carry it. It's a faded ivory.

#2-Mom's Bible-She carried it, but she is now divorced. So maybe superstitiously, I don't really want to carry it. I will already be wearing her veil. It is white.

#3-The Bible I was given when I was Baptized. It's blue, and a little stained due to a fire. I don't think anyone will see the stained.

#4-The Bible I was given at or near birth with my name written on it. It is a very light pink.

All of these Bibles mean something to me. They aren't huge, so weight shouldn't be an issue. One day I want the blue one, and one day I want grandmother's Bible. What's your opinion?

I would go with choice #3, the one given to you when you were baptized.

If your grandma didn't want you mom to have hers, then she might not want you to either.
If your mom carried it and is now divorced, even though I only somewhat believe in superstitions, I still wouldn't take that risk.
You were baptized, it's blue, it all works out (you know, something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue)
This would be a good choice too, but only if you're worried about the small stain on the other bible.

Well I think blue, green, pink, and purple all mix really well.

But maybe Pink and blue. those would look super nice together.
It also depends, are you a guy or girl? I'm going to just assume girl, but because I'm a girl I'm using "girly" colors.

But blue will look well with all of them, as long as you get the shades right.

I'm more of a baby blue, lime green, lavander, and dark, yet not too dark, pink kind of person.

But a regular blue would go better with lavander or lime green, and yet a baby blue would look nice with pink (actually either blue, but still)

And a dark purple would go better with a light green. So it all depends, but those are my 4 favorite colors!! Sorry for kind of confusing you. (I confused myself, so I can only assume I confused you haha)

is that a good age to babysit? Because I have had like 2 years of experiance with my 2year old nephew!

Of course it is, I started babysitting when I was in 6th grade, and I was 11 turning 12. Just as long as the people you habysit trust you, and you are responsible enough!! Also as long as you're allowed to and you know what you're doing, and you're good with kids and stuff. But yeah, I think 13 is a fine age to start babysitting, it's also an age where you'll start to really want money, so what better way to earn it, than babysitting.

if i drink a big sip of water and then go outside in the heat for about 5 minutes and go back and drink another sip..is that a way to not get dehydrated and sick and dizzy and stuff? thanks

Yeah, that would work, but why would you want to do that?
Why not just take a water bottle outside with you, then if you feel you need some, or you start to get sick or dizzy drink some. And when you start running low on water, just go back inside, finish the last little bit, and get a new bottle, that way instead of going in every 5 minutes you can enjoy the rest of your summer, I only have 10 days left, I start the 25th... I'm making the most of the last week and a half of my summer, you shouldn't worry about having to go inside every 5 minutes, enjoy summer while it lasts.
Anyway, yes, it would work, but it doesn't seem like much fun!!

Hey Guys! On my myspace it wont let me download my favorite pic of me! =(. the pic is on my comp. and it says "file is too large, you must resize it" well i dont want to resize it because it is such a good pic! is there any way i can save my pic in its regular size, then make a double that is smaller so i can download it? please + thanks! x0

Yeah, it's already saved the regualr way.... right?
Then open it in another file, resize it, but go to SAVE AS, not save, otherwise it'll save under the same thing, anway, save it as something else!
I had to do it for this site, and for myspace, it worked for me.
If it's too confusing let me know. But pretty much...

1.) Save the original picture to your computer if you haven't already done so.
2.) Go to Edit Picture
3.) resize the picture
4.) Go to SAVE AS, NOT SAVE!
5.) Save it under a different title, suck as "My fave picture of me 2" (just made it up obviously haha)
6.) Upload it for myspace, if it's still to big keep trying to resize it and/or edit out parts that don't need to be there.

Well I first got mine right before going to see a movie. I didn't realize I had it until I went to the bathroom. But For a few months before getting my period I wore pantyliners because of all the discharge (talk about gross haha) and so I went to the bathroom and when I went to throw away the pantyliner I noticed blood on it. I was excited because all my friends already had theirs and I still hadn't haha. But anyway, I didn't realize it. I was outside playing softball with some neighbors when my friend called my cell phone and asked if I wanted to see a movie, so I went inside, asked my parents, went to the bathroom and noticed the blood.

But when I'm on my period I can't really tell if I'm bleeding, I don't know why, but you most likely won't be able to feel it unless it's like dripping down your leg or something (I don't even think that happens, or if it does, rarely)

Anyway, your best bet is to buy panty liners, that will help with any discharge getting in your panties, and when you first start your period it'll soak up the blood. I didn't get any blood in my panties, only on the pantyliner.

Anyway, you probably won't feel it, so you would definitley be better of with the pantyliners.
