if i drink a big sip of water and then go outside in the heat for about 5 minutes and go back and drink another sip..is that a way to not get dehydrated and sick and dizzy and stuff? thanks
S_C answered Tuesday August 9 2005, 10:52 pm: Yeah, that would work, but why would you want to do that?
Why not just take a water bottle outside with you, then if you feel you need some, or you start to get sick or dizzy drink some. And when you start running low on water, just go back inside, finish the last little bit, and get a new bottle, that way instead of going in every 5 minutes you can enjoy the rest of your summer, I only have 10 days left, I start the 25th... I'm making the most of the last week and a half of my summer, you shouldn't worry about having to go inside every 5 minutes, enjoy summer while it lasts.
Anyway, yes, it would work, but it doesn't seem like much fun!! [ S_C's advice column | Ask S_C A Question ]

Also you should have a bolltle of water with you...its the safe thing to do... if i were you i would drink a WHOLE lot more water! i hope i helped! :) [ kittykat12456's advice column | Ask kittykat12456 A Question ]
thinkpink03 answered Tuesday August 9 2005, 7:18 pm: Probably, but some people can stand the heat longer than others. If your going outside and you dont want to get dehydrated keep a water bottle or gaterade with you so whenever you get the slitest bit thirsty drink some so you wont get dehydrated!
