I want something clever and funny for my voicemail recording. If it helps, I'm a girl.

yeah i kinda asked that question yesterday even though it wasn't a question.. i just wanna say that i still back up most of the things i said but i do understand that i should have said it in a calmer and not so negative matter. i was wrong & i apologize to those who i hurt (haha) even though you guys all think im a whiny teenager. i'm really nothing like that i was just trying to speak my mind. i really do LOVE advicenators and i'm kinda addicted and i don't wanna leave although many people want me to. some people on this site judge people unfairly, but the majority on this site are nice people and infact give good advice.

& to younggrandma you've always been an inspiration to me and what i said had NOTHING to do with you. in another question i asked, i was happy you told me how stupid and babyish i was acting. it made me change so younggrandma you have nothing to do with the last temper tantrum i had. i hope we can be friends. :]

Hey, we all make mistakes, right? We all have our moments where we need to let it out, and we are allowed to. The most important thing that I am glad you did, was apologize. It in a way ties the ends of this, and just tells everyone to take it easy, its over, and its going to be ok. Dont leave, everyone is welcome here on Advicenators, and I hope I am speaking on behalf of this site when I say We all make mistakes, and that yours is forgiven.

At what age do teenagers usually get past basic levels of thought and begin thinking more intellectually?What I mean is...when do they start to form their own opinions,have some idea of what they want out of life,and just generally gain a more adult outlook?

No one can wake up one morning and decide they are a grownup.Things in this world dont work like that. It has to be a gradual change over a period of time, which fluctuates from person to person. Depending on what people go through in their lives, determains how fast they will grow up, and begin thinking on more of an intellectual standard. I am a believer of that they start making their own decisions once they can vote, and are married. I say when they vote because the outcome of an election is on their shoulders, and they have to make the most educated decision. I believe that they also get their own opinions when they are married because lets face it- every married couple has different beliefs, and sometimes fight according to their beliefs, standards, and what they believe it right or wrong. They have their own opinions, because they are faced with opposition within their household. I think that DN's age range is perfect. I would say between 25-maybe 32, is when they start thinking more intellectually.

People can just be curtious and open doors. Everyone opens doors for people, its the nice thing to do. He may like you, and he may know that you like him, so he is trying to give you a good impression :]

Okay so our housekepper had a stroke and had to move in with her sister a few weeks ago. How long should I expect for her to be gone. How long are most stroke victims "down"? I dont mean to be insensitive but we really need her back.

I would say between 1-3 months. Strokes are bad, and are hazardous to health, majorly. It may even be longer. If you need someone else sooner, i would suggest maybe hiring someone else for the time being, because it is going to be a struggle for her.

Ok Well I don't know what it is but it's like a pimple that's not pussy or a bump and it's the size of my thumb.

It's on the side of my left legs above my knee.

In 4 days there was like a red ring going around it (like how a nipple has that dark ring around it).

It's been a week and now it's kinda dark kinda liek a purple and red colour mixed.

I don't know if it'll stay or go away..I'm ogign swimmign in 2 days so i hope it goes away cuz it grosses me out and my head keeps shouting MOLEY MOLEY MOLEY!

I would go to the doctors as soon as possible. It could be an infection, or a bite of some sort. They will give you antibiotic for it. You can always put a bandaid on it while you go swimming, but make sure it is waterproof. Good Luck, and I hope it goes away soon!

i'm on a tight budget (let's say less than fifty bucks) and i wanna do something for my 18th birthday. it's in a few days and i want it to be small but fun. any ideas? i was thinking a dinner but should i have ppl pay for themselves? any other creative ideas??

You an have a sleepover with about 4-6 girls. You an rent good movies, like Little Black Book, Bridget Jones, Little Miss Sunshine, etc. You can either buy pizza, or make mini ones. I like making individual mini ones, and you just buy tortillas or pizza dough, and put on whatever toppings you like. Then, you cook and eat! Its really good :] And fun too! You can make your own sundaes too! It will come out to about 30 or less dollars, and hey- its fun! :]

If you do, you are probably really dehydrated. This happens a lot, and its the mixture of being thirsty and tired. Next time you go running, bring a lot of water, because being dehydrated in the hot sun is bad for you.

I can do that:]. You have to buy volumizing mascara, and keep applying it like 1000 times.It will get clumpy at first, but you can get those out easily. You apply it like you regularly would,but I usually do about 5 minutes straight. Dont let it dry then add more, it comes out bad.

I think it was just a phase. You finally realized that you had one life to live, and you wanted to be more outgoing. It is completely normal, and almost everyone goes through it.

No, I wish. I have done that accidently before. I think it is because people would buy songs, listen to them, return them, and get their money back, which would be pointless(basically free music.). Hope I helped, and sorry!
