I'm Almedina. I'm foreign, and I'm pretty much ready to handle whatever life throws at me. Ha, pretty random that I go from being foreign to life,but anyways. I've had this column for about two yearsnow, and I don't update it as I should, or want to but with school and this crazy teenage life of mine, it gets pretty hard to do so. I've been giving advice to all my friends since I can remember and I love trying to help them. I'm out going and extrememly loud once you get to know me. I'm usually shy at first unless I've gotten to know you. I don't understand life sometimes. But I've got my whole life to figure out the meaning of it. I'm selfish at times, and stubborn. I care too much about things I shouldn't and not enough about the MOST important things in my life. I'm very annoyed with people at times, and tend to just block everyone out. I'm afraid to say I'm in love, but I'm not afraid of love itself. I'm myself and that's all I can be. I've gone through a lot, so I'm willing to help in whatever way I can (:

does anyone have any make up tips for me? lol i dont wear make up. also does anyone have advice on how i should get my hair cut? bangs or no? i kinda have a big nose so i want to draw attention away from that as well. thanks for reading :]

You should get your hair cut, up to your shoulders with layers, & side bangs. Kinda like my hair but a bit shorter. That would look really cute on you. And for make up, try some purples. It will make your eyes really stand out. I don't really wear any make up at all. But some mascara, eye liner, & some foundation is basically all you need.

You should really talk to your doctor about this rather than an online advice site. Because after all your doctor knows more about you than any one here who could help you. Having your period regularly means you're healthy. At least that's what my mother always told me [: But just talk to your doctor about this, and I'm sure he/she will be able to help you. Good luck.

I suck at kissing. Ive made out once, and I told the kid I had not done it before. but this kid was like WAY different then the one im with now. he doesnt want to move to fast, and im ok with that. but we are like really in love with each other. and on our first date we did kiss once, I think I kinda did it. but I could tell he wanted to. You can't really suck at kissing. It's a natural thing to human beings, but some of us are just better because we have more experience with it. Just go for it, you can't really mess up because everyone kisses their "own" way. Take control by grabbing him closer to you. It's attractive to guys ;]

Okay, I don`t play any sports & I`m not the most athletic person. My parents really want me to do something & so do I, but there`s nothing fun that I`d think I`d be interested in doing. So, is there anything else, like besides sports that I could do? (Acting classes, etc.)

You could take up dancing. It's both a sport and a fun thing you could do. Or gymnastics. You could also take up art classes, acting classes ( like you said,), & etc.

Eye shadow color all can depend on what you are wearing. Usually matching the eye shadow color to your outfit works out really well. [+ Use more than one color, to really make it stand out.] Don't use bronzers that have orange coloring in them because it will make you look more orange than tanner. Also use some mascara. Okay, well thing is that me and this freind are such good freind and we had a clash last summer. and wasn't very good. thing is that i cna't seem tell her my feelings. she seeem to hatd when i act mad or upset and yet jelouse and i am not a jelouse person.. she dosn't understand that my feelings are still hurting. sometimes i don't know she like me anymore or still like me as good freind. i know this maybe sound jelouse but she didn't even put me her top friends list on facebook or mysapce we been close and buddies and she treat her roomate like she treated her the best in her life. i always been good friend. and yet she was brainwash about stuff people tell her and she listens. and thought she care about me and yet she don't act like it. how can i tell her with out my saying sound mad and upset? i mean my feelings are still hurt. i know i need get over it i can't i need to fix it.. so I feel better.. we both feel better talking toeacher again and everything.

Just tell how you feel. Before hand you could maybe say something like .. "well I'm not trying to sound mad or anything but there's something I really have to talk to you about." If you guys are so close, I'm sure she will understand. You probably won't get over it until you talk to her about it because if you don't, something will always bring up how you feel, so just talk to her and I'm sure things will be fine.

ok so im goin to be a junior in highschool next year and for the past two years i have ahd this group of friends where we hang out everyday, and torwards the last couple weeks of school in sophmore year we all got in this huge figh tand the gruop started to split up. a new girl cameinto are group which i hate to admit i tis basically the reason evryone got i nthe fight because she was rude and brought out everyones flaws. now my question is, my best friend is one of the ppl that left the group, she hansg out wit hthis one girl named sam now, i dont know know where to go next year. do i go with my bestfriend which btw we are super close, but the reason she left teh group was to basically get a way from everyone, so do i go wit hher, and this new girl who i don tlike all that much, or do stay with my old group of friedns and get cought up i nall the stupid drama, or should i find just an all new group of friends.??? please help. also my bestfriends little sister is gonna be a freshmen cmoing into ur school and im pretty good friends with her also she is fun and i know some of her friends so thier is that option. im thinking about just moving around so what should i do??

Well high school is a big place. I'm sure you will find a whole lot of different friends, since you will be meeting new people in your classes and such. And why do you have to be considered in a "group?" It's just another cliche in which you will be caught up on drama. Drama is every where you look. Just stay friends with your best friend, of course, but if she has tried to get away from everyone you should to [: It will be a lot of fun trying to meet new friends, and such. Stay in touch with your best friend because who knows you might start hanging out with her and her other friends.

i had this friend for about 3 years she was my best friend. but then we got this new girl and i really liked her and its hard being new soo i was friends with both well my other friend got jelous and stopped talking to me. and its been really hard for me to be okay with it becuase she was my best friend.and i didnt just lose her as a friend. at the end of the year my only friends were the new girl my other best friend and my boyfriend. and im okay with that just i lost ALOT of friends all at once. so i chose to be friends with the new girl and my other best friend too like you know you got your two or three main best friends. then i started gettin ignored and replaced by. the new girl would tlel me i was doing this with her then have my best friend do it with her and just ignore me. then this summer we got in trouble and my bets friend blamed it on me and the new girl so we got mad at her cuz i got in alot of trouble for something i didnt do. so then i lost another best friend. then i went on vacation before i left the new girl told me i wasnt aloud to be friends with her. like i can be but she doesnt know what she would do if we came close agian. well i juts got back to find out they are all close and replacing me agian.and ive talked to both of them about this before.im just sick of losing good friends. and being left out. is it all worth it. staying friends with both of them? or am i like the bad one in this case.

Why would you think you are the bad person in this ? You haven't done anything wrong. Obviously these girls weren't ever true to begin with. You need to talk to them, and explain how you feel. Have them all over one night and tell them how you feel, and ask them to be honest with you and have them tell you why they have been treating you this way because it truly is unfair, & pathetic. It was very nice of you to accept the new girl as one of your close friends, but maybe you payed a little more attention to her at first, & that's why your first best friend got mad. Maybe she was feeling the way you were. Maybe that's how you all feel but yet you don't really want to tell each other so you decide to basically ignore each other. sometimes my interenet explorer works and sometimes it doesn't. i have wireless internet and even when it says i'm connected and good signal strength and what have you, it still won't display any pages. mozilla firefox and AIM work perfectly. any help?

Try exiting out of the explorer and trying to get back onto that. I don't have wireless but I have DSL, & it sometimes does that to me on FIREFOX. It just tells me to reboot the system which usually takes about a couple of minutes, & it goes back to normal. It could just be a minor issue.

now that it's summer, my eating habits are way different.

when i had school, i'd eat breakfast, lunch and dinner (and have a snack) basically at the same time every day.

but now, it's all messed up. i wake up at the latest like 11:00 (today i woke up at 9:30ish though) i usually don't eat breakfast right away, so i won't eat it till atleast 30 minutes later. like today i didn't eat until probably 10:15. plus, i don't always eat the healthiest foods- um today i had pudding..but then i topped it off with cantaloupe and watermelon. usually i'm home alone with my brother so i can eat whatever i want without my parents telling me not to lol.

so from eating breakfast late, that messes up when i have lunch and i won't have that till later either. but dinner i'm ok since my mom makes it.

but lately i've been going to bed really late..like 1 or 2 in the morning. and i'll be up in my room watching tv and i'll start feeling hungry. but i don't want to go downstairs to get food, or wake up my parents or have to brush my teeth again. so then i'll go to bed kinda hungry, and wake up reallly hungry.

so today (it started mostly yesterday), i ate my little breakfast-didn't eat lunch yet.. but now i'm all messed up. like, i'll eat something, but i'll still feel hungry right after i eat it. right now, i feel really hungry. i just ate like two cheese thingies though. it's like nothing is filling me.

i'm hungryy!!!! like i have that feeling in my stomach, but i don't really feel like eating. but i want it to go away so ill eat stuff but it's not going away. so i'll have lunch soon. but idk if it's gonna go away. ah i dont know what to do help me please?!?

You could try having a fairly small snack when you are feeling like this because you don't want to starve yourself. If you're hungry, then just eat. If you're worried about gaining weight, just eat something light in calories and carbs. Salad is a good snack that can fill you up [: Once school starts this won't be a matter anymore, just watch out on too much snacky foods.

alright this is sort of weird and i'm not sure how to ask this but i'm really nervous about it. one of my nipples is red and bumpy on top and has a little lump inside it...but only on part of it, and it just started about 3 days ago. could it be because i let my boyfriend suck it and rub it and stuff? i didn't know if that was it or not...i really need answers but i can't ask my mom because she doesn't know how far i've gone with my boyfriend.

Well maybe this could just be a reaction of the intimacy between you and your boyfriend since you've never tried it before, but if it worsens you should really talk to your mom about it.

i really haven't ever used make-up and when i do my friends tell me that it doesn't look good. I have like SUPER LONG eyelashes and when i use mascara it doesn't go all the way down my eyelashes.

what kind of makeup(colors,types,ects) should i use?
I have red hair, blue eyes, fair skin, and freckles,and SUPER long eyelashes. if that helps.

Since you have super long eyelashes, I don't think you really need any mascara at all, but if you prefer mascara, I'd suggest Volum Express by Maybelline. For foundation or powder try L'Oreal's true match. When you buy it, you can compare your natural skin to the colors they have there. For eye make up, just try to experiment with all sorts of different colors. Pinks, & reds would look cute, but I usually try to match my eye shadow with my outfit. [:

in my house, we don't have any kind of lubricants...for things like masturbation...and...gosh this is embarrassing...but is there ANY type of safe lubricate that is healthy and can be found around the house? so im 14 years old and a girl. about to be a freshman. and im in love. and i KNOW i am. evey time i tell someone that they say ohh your too young. your NEVER too young. and ive been wiht this guy now for 2 months and a week exact. and my mom is like freaking out on me. i havnt told her but she can just tell becuase SOO much more happier. ive waited 3 years to be with this guy agian. and he isnt cute. at alll. sounds mean. but im just tryign to explain this. when i started going out with him. people were like why hes ugly. and weird. and odd. and he ISNT. he is the SWEETEST guy i know. and i know if people sat down and had a conversation with him they'd fall in love with him. yes he is ugly. but he is not werid. he is just diffrent from what i am so people think oh they cant be together. who cares. he listens to rock and can dress in blakc every now and then. and he can be quite in school becuase he actually wants to learn something. so people think he is kreepy and weird. but my mom is like i want you to live your life and your not going to be becuase your going to be with him. and i get where she is coming from ive thought about it. becuase when you get to highschool you meet soo many diffrent people but ive already met enough people in my life. and i guess my point is should i listen to my mom and for now be friends with him and wait and maybe get other friends back. or do something else? sorry if it made no sense. im just so confused.

Just a tad bit confusing but that's okay ;] - aren't we all, haha. Okay well your mom and friends are right. You do meet a lot of people in high school and a lot of things change in high school. If you feel like you should remain friends than only you can decide that basically. You might meet someone you really like in high school so I would wait and see what happens down that road, but then again you might not.
