You can always just ask them up front.. then you won't have any confusion because youre getting the answer from them personally. If your shy, imbarrassed, or scared ask a friend to ask them if they like you or who they like. Have someone talk to them about you. If not, you might just have to accept the facts they only like you ask a friend and just try to forget about them. Hope this helped

Healthy eating, running, ab exercises. Just doing crunches won't really help if you eat crappy. Just try to get in fruits, veggies, whole grains, and good fats (nuts, anything unsaturated). Running, bike riding, walking, any cardio will burn calories.. there for burning fat.. eventually getting rid of love handles. Crunches/ab work outs will tone and shape your abs and obliques. You can't be double jointed really.. thats like having a two joints. So I don't really think its that, maybe just flexibility or a weird talent you have. Hah
well recently i measured my heart rate, i am a 14 year old male, turing 15 next week. i play hockey and football. I measured my heart rate twice while resting at diffrent times. by resting i mean calm and sitting. my heart rate was between 65-75 bpm what should it be? and if it isnt good enough what should my goal be and how can i better it
I'm not sure what it is suppost to be but I just thought i'd tell you.. my gym teacher is a fitness person and she says if your resting heart rate is low thats awesome. She told us Lance Armstrong's was like 50 something, but it means that your so inshape that your body doesn't need to try as much to circulate your blood around. My resting heart rate was like 68 and she said that was really good. And for gym we had to keep our heart rates over 140 and she told me how it'll be super hard for me or anyone in shape because I have a lower heart rate so I'd have to work twice as hard. And if you want your true resting heart rate take it right after you wake up because when you lay down your body is completely resting as to sitting up (blood has to be vertically instead of when your laying down)
earlier today, my brother took me to get my belly button pierced. i was just wondering how you're suppose to clean it and how many times. can you use the same solution that sayy you would get at claire's when you get your ears pierced ? and what else do you need to do to take care of it ? thanks.
No, i dont reccomend using ear solution. WHen I got mine done, the guy said water was good for it, like going in the bath, shower, hot tub, pools, because it cleans it out. Some people might say no because chlorine, but my guy said it was fine. If your in sports (contact ones).. you might want to tape it so it doesn't get hit around or riped out. Hope this helped

Just go out after school or something. Stay away from them for a while, maybe go shopping with you mom just the two of you. If you want a break, then just try and aviod them for a bit.

They say that the heart stops pumping, but I haven't read anything that the lungs don't pump air anymore.

I'm pretty sure when I read the first one there was something about them not needing to breathe. They don't need to eat or sleep so I dont think breathing is any different

Average weight might be different then healthy weight because we live in a pretty fat nation hah..

im 16 and im a bit overweight and probably a lack of confidence from it ive been trying to lose weight walking bike riding i try to eat the right food im still having trouble losing the weight i know it can take time but any other suggestions of what can i do? and also ive got a small penis
could being overweight be partly the reason?
About your willy.. being over weight probably doesnt affect size. But, maybe it wil look bigger if you are thinner? That might help? Just keep up bike riding, walking, any sports or any other activity. If you eat right, which you say you try, and have good exercise.. then your on the right track. It might take longer to loose weight but you've just still got to keep exercising and healthy eating. If you havent already, cut out pop, junk food, fast food, and sweets. Backhand springs..me and my mom has been practicin and practicin...i have now built up the strength and speed to do one.. the only problem is i dont jump back...im scared to...but what i do is clap an step 2 times back then dip and do a backbend and mom helps flip me over..i can do it realy fast its just tha i cant jump back,cause im scared..can u please help me...im on a cheerleading squad..
You just have to get over yur fear. I've had mental blocks and I still do, but I just push past. Doing your backhand spring at practice will help because your team will cheer you on and it gives you a boost. Also, get tips from people who actually can do them so they can show and teach you how. Practice makes perfect. Hope this helped
hi, i'm 14 and a freshman. So my friends brother is a junior and hes "interested" in me. He just turned 17 and i think i might like him. But im afraid that the age difference is a little too much. Do you have any advice for me?!
Well, you will be 15 this year, or next year. It's only two years and there are plenty of people who date with that and even more age difference. It might seem overwhelming now, but I bet you'll get used to it. If it kind of creeps you out, wait a little untill you do turn 15 so its doesnt seem so much of a gap. Unless it makes you uncomfortable or becomes a big issue, you shouldn't worry too much about it. Just think how many parents are like 3-9 years age difference.. haha. Hope this helped

i have no idea what to do! my best friend has liked this one guy since freshman year (were sophmors now) and hes been talking to me lately and being kinda flirty. im starting to like him but i could never do that to my best friend.. im just stuck right now, so ill take any advice you can give.

If you want to not like him back, try ignoring the way he's acting. She might be able to be jealous of you if he likes you, but she can't be mad because your not doing anything back to him. That doesn't mean she won't be though. But if you already like him and can't really stop, just try and make it so he likes you and you just go with it. Maybe, then she can see that he does like you and not her, then she might just be bummed for a while. You can alwasy try talking to her about it, saying.. "well I kind of like him too and i'd be just as painful as your situation if I can't be with him either" or something like that. You shouldn't have to stop your love life because a friend, but you should try and make it less painful on her. If you want to be a good friend, try not liking him. But before you do anything, make sure he really does like you and you really do like him. Hope this helped

Flexibitly, stretch every night. Thats it. Do the splits as far down as you can go on each side and middle. Do stretches when you wake up. Stretch your legs and arms and back and entire body just like you would before you start practicing. It WILL help. If you want to loose weight, cut out pop/sweets/junk food/fast food. If you eat it alot, try to only eat it maybe once a week. If you don't eat it alot, then thats good. Getting ride of that stuff might be hard for a lot of teens/kids so if you do that thats a big accomplishment. If you cheer alot, practice atleast 2 times a week then thats a good work out. If you feel it's not enough, bike ride. It's a great way to burn calories as its so easy and relieves stress. Run too, though I think bike riding is easier haha so maybe you'd like that? Well, just try to get a lot of fruits and veggies into your meals, atleast a serving at each meal. Hope this helped! Come back if you need anything else

You don't need to loose weight. Your freaking 12.. don't worry about it please. You're growing, your body needs calories, you are in 2 sports, so you probabaly need atleast 2000. You're a great weight. If you want to eat healthier, then dont drink pop or eat sweets or junk food as much. Yeah, being healthier is that simple. Hope this helped

Honestly, you are probably a great, healthy weight. I doubt you need to loose a pound. Plus.. your only 13 and shouldnt worry about it. Buttt.. if you really want, try to cut out sweets/junk food/fast food/pop. THat's a big step for most kids and can make a difference. You already have 2 hours of workout so you do need about 2000 calories a day, espically that your still growing. Try getting in all your fruits and veggies and protein. I say, for your first step.. just cut out the crappy foods. Hope this helped

This is a general question for any type of relationship..
No matter the guys age, if he teases you in a friendly kinda way(like, not mean) does that mean he likes you?
Because, there's this guy that I work with and he was teasing me tonight at work saying I was annoying, but then after he'd smile. Lets not forget to mention that he's gorgeous. He looks like Jesse from the Free Willy movies. And, I'm not that bad myself but whatever.
Could this be a slight sign that he sees something? Like, he asked me to check out his band and when I said I would he was like.. no you won't. And seemed a bit upset.

lately ive been thinking too hard about other people. yes thats a VERY confusing sentence, but if you knew me, youd get it. and what im trying to say is i consume my life with other peoples problems, but when you do something like this you tend to throw your problems aside. if oyu dont recognize your problems they build up inside. i know i should just tell someone. or im you at your sn to talk. but i wont say anything about me. id just ask about you. becuase i could care less about my problems. i know this is really confusing and i apologize completely. but if theres anything that could possibly help, please just let me know.
It's not confusing, I just hope I understand it. So, you'd rather talk to your friend about how she has boy problems or something like that instead of talk to a friend about your problems? You probably just need to try and realize that none of that matters unless your happy. Sure, it's great to be concerned for other people, but its your life, and you've got to live it. That means, do what you want, whatever makes you happy, and if being happy is thinking aboutother people then do that. But I doubt it is. So next time you have a problem, try to just let it out to a friend/anyone willing to listen. If you need to i.m me.. yeah i'd love to help you with whatever you need but if you can talk to a close friend that'd be even better. I hope this sort of helped, if it didn't im sorry.
i need to raise my metabolism, badly. like, if i eat a lot i won't gain much weight. but if i try to lose weight, it seems almost impossible. if i seriously cut down on junk food and soda and did about 100 crunches a day and walked/jogged/runned for 30-45 minutes a day would that help?
Yes. Of course cutting down on junk (decreasing calories) and working out (increase burning calories) will help you loose weight. Cut out all junk/pop anwyays because its unhealthy. If you do that.. you will definatly see results over time. Don't go for diet soda either, its got nothing good. Hope this helped

Make sure you have soap down there.. when you wash your body just scrub down there and make sure theres soap around it i guess. Don't try shaving everday because then your just trying to shave down little hairs that are barly there and you'll iratate your skin. So wait every other shower/bath to shave. Hope this helped

theres this guy. and i really like him. like crazy. ive had a crush on him for about two months. the thing is....i dont know him. we've talked on myspace and hes really funny. and hes GORGEOUS. not everybody things so but hes EXACTLY the "prince charming" ive been looking for.my friend is friends with him and told him i liked him. but he told my friend he just got a new gf. i was so embarrassed i blocked him on myspace. and i dont want to add him back because he'll know i blocked him. long story short, i cant get over him. he's all i ever think about. its crazy. ive never felt this way before about someone ive never even talked to in person before. its really starting have an impact on my daily life. everyday in school i always try to avoid any place i think he'd be because its always so akward when we see each other and i feel really stupid. i want to get over him but deep deep deep down all i want is to be with him no matter what it takes. id do ANYTHING just to see what it would be like to be his girl. i feel like im never going to get over him. please please please give me some advice. do i need to get over it?? HOW???? its IMPOSSIBLE to get over it. i even cry sometimes when i think of how lucky his girlfriend is to have him and she doesnt even know it.
Its okay, i think i went through this before. It was like fourth grade but I remember thinking how much i was inlove with this guy and.. its silly to think of it now but its sad because I know how i felt. I think you might just be wanting to have someone so badly that your putting this guy in your "dream man's" position. If im wrong, sorry. But think about it.. you might just picture yourself with him because hes the only one you know of. I'm sure, if and when you find another guy you like you'll not care about him. Try picturing him doing something that makes him unattractive and maybe it will turn you off. Find something abuot him that you don't like. Focus on that and just be like.."wow hes not so great after all". Try watching movies with really hot actors so you can think about them instead of him, because atleast you know that you'll never see them or meet them, ya know? Just try replacing him with someone else. Maybe, try sucking up your fears and getting near him, or seeing him in person because you can't hide forever. Maybe, once you see him you'll realize hes just like any other guy. Hope this helped
