i have no idea what to do! my best friend has liked this one guy since freshman year (were sophmors now) and hes been talking to me lately and being kinda flirty. im starting to like him but i could never do that to my best friend.. im just stuck right now, so ill take any advice you can give.

She might be able to be jealous of you if he likes you, but she can't be mad because your not doing anything back to him. That doesn't mean she won't be though. But if you already like him and can't really stop, just try and make it so he likes you and you just go with it. Maybe, then she can see that he does like you and not her, then she might just be bummed for a while. You can alwasy try talking to her about it, saying.. "well I kind of like him too and i'd be just as painful as your situation if I can't be with him either" or something like that. You shouldn't have to stop your love life because a friend, but you should try and make it less painful on her. If you want to be a good friend, try not liking him.
