Twilight by Stephenie Meyer

Question Posted Saturday November 10 2007, 10:21 pm

Do vampires breathe?
They say that the heart stops pumping, but I haven't read anything that the lungs don't pump air anymore.

Proof:
"We both lay theire for a minute, trying to slow our breathing." (619) in Eclipse

Any explanation(s)?

I'm pretty sure when I read the first one there was something about them not needing to breathe. They don't need to eat or sleep so I dont think breathing is any different
