Help! My dog at a choclate Ho Ho! It was not the brand name Ho Ho however same thing. She only got ahold of one of them. I called the company and they said that it was a little under 1oz for what she ate. I have been looking online and I am seeing some places saying it could kill her and others saying it will make her sick. I am really worried! Does anyone know? She is not acting any different. She is about 15 lbs. I also do not know what category of choclate this would be under. I know it is not Bakers however that is it.; I called the company and they said that they could not help me! Please help!

Nothing wrong with everyones advice. Definately keep a close eye on your doggy. However, she is very likely just fine. I have seen dogs eat a lot more chocolate than that and have no problem. I think to kill a dog you need a fair amount of that dark potent cooking chocolate. At least thats what a I heard from a dog trainer.

I need some help, i have herd alot that starveing yourself to lose weight doesn't work, but i have also herd that thats how the celeberties stay so skinny.I already know that starving yourself is vary bad for your body, so don't bother telling how dangerouse it is.I just want a yes, or no answer on wether or not it works, also i have been dieting for a wile, i run of the tredmeal every day for a hour and i have been eating healthy foods.But i haven't lost eny weight and i still look the same, i have been doing this for 3 weeks, what am i doing wrong?

Ok question 1 first. It depends what you mean by "works". Do you lose weight? Of course you do. But bear in mind that it will be muscle that you lose first and then fat. Also you will do damage to your metabolism making weight gain very easy once you begin to eat normally again. So the answer I guess is "yes" though if you are considering it, why not take the even easier weight loss solution... sawing off part of your body, its even quicker :)

If you arent losing weight from what you are doing, you are very likely doing some of the follwing things wrong:
1. Still eating too many calories
2. Eating too rarely (remember 4-6 small balanced meals a day evenly spaced every 3-4 hours or so)
3. Eating the wrong things- for one thing make sure you eliminate most saturated fats. Similarly make sure you get your daily needs of essential fatty acids, particularly omega 3(from things like oily fish, flax seed oil, walnuts etc). Also make sure you eat plenty of protein. Most of the meals should be based around a good lean protein source such as skinless chicken/turkey, tuna, lean beef, cottage cheese etc.

Calculate your calorie needs and create a 500 cal deficit every day. Divide your remaining calories evenly among your meals and see if this doesnt help. Heres a cal calculator:

Stoned is usually only used to refer to derivatives of marijuana (e.g. hash, canabis etc). I.e. not the hard drugs.

I am not sure I am too fond about the way you are going about this either. Apart from the invasion of privacy issues it also feels as though you are beating away at the symptoms rather than the disease. If he is going to cheat, changing his profile to "gay" will delay it a bit thats all.

You know if you use the search funtion you can find tons of questions very similar to yours. Anyway, heres a few diet tips:

1. Eat 4-6 small meals every day evenly spaced every 3-4 hours or so. This is very important for your metabolism. Divide your calories more or less evenly between these meals, though eating a bit more before periods of activity and a bit less before periods of rest.
2. Eat balanced meals and drink lots of water
3. Avoid saturated fats and things that have sugar added (that takes care of most of the "crap" one eats). Note most of the "bad" fats come from animal products (fatty meats, cheeses, etc). Read the labels.
4. Make sure you get enough protein. Base your meals around a good protein source like skinlees chicken/turkey, cottage cheese, tuna etc. A meal could thus be 200g cottage cheese, an apple and a small handful of walnuts, or it might be 150g of skinless chicken breast, a salad made with a good oil and 50g of pasta. Note that the actual size of the portions should be determined by your calorie count.

Aim to eat 500 calories less than you burn every day. So figure out your total, subtract 500 and then divide the remainder by 5 (or however many meals you have that day). You can get a feel for this by trial and error, but doing it mathematically can help at the beginning.

As for exercise, anything is good, however I think a combination of cardio and weights is best. When you do cardios like running, its best done in the morning before breakfast.

You are best off avoiding diet pills. Proper diet and exercise is a better more sustainable option.

In other studies I have read about aspirin was another supplement that would lower the risk. As far as I know thats pretty much accepted. Another study, which I am not sure how comprehensive or generraly accepted it is, showed that eating walnuts regularly also significantly reduced the risk of all sorts of heart problems.

Actually it could be either. It depends on the situation and the guy. While drinking does make one more "horny", it also provides a sense of courage. So, if the guy liked you and was the kind of guy that was too embarrassed to call you before, he might suddenly find the courage when under influence.

The only answer to give here that is general enough to fulfill all the criteria is "a balanced diet". This means no diets that eliminate macronutrients (like no carb or no fat diets for example). The most common recommendation these days seems to be a 40-40-20 distribution of calories between protein- carbs- fats (where protein and carbs have 4 calories per gram and fats have 9).

Generally avoid saturated fats, things with sugar added to them, processed foods etc. Eat plenty of veggetables and drink a lot of water.

If you are looking to lose weight, eat 500 cals or so below what you burn. If you are looking to bulk you need a calorie surplus.

Well, have you tried doing it mathematically. Determine how many calories you burn in a day, and then subract 500 or so from your diet. This of course means counting everything you eat. Normally I think this is going overboard, but in your case it might be neccessary.

Also, join a gym and try to do a combination of weight training and cardio (one weights, one day cardio usually works quite nicely). For best results, do the cardio in the morning before breakfast.

Now, as for your diet. I am not sure how you are eating, but here are some general tips on getting the most out of your meals:

Ok, this is a very relevant question considering the stuff that is written on this site.

So here goes... Crunches will not in any way whatsoever make the fat go away from your stomach. I have read the answers below, and the vast majority of the stuff written (with the exception of the person directly below me) is not correct.

Without a negative calorie balance you arent losing weight from anywhere. With a negative calorie balance you are losing fat from your entire body. You cannot direct (or "spot reduce")this fat loss to an area. Unfortunatly its our genes that decide if an area is emphasised.

So, where crunches come in is really to shape your stomach, once you have lost the fat through other means. If you still have stomach fat then you will just build up muscle under this fat.

There is a really bad myth going around advicenators, that humans can somehow spot reduce fat. "I want thinner thighs" or "I want slimmer legs" are answered with "do squats or lunges", much like crunches are prescribed for thinner bellies. This is simply not the way things work.

So, if you want a flat stomach check your diet first and foremost. Then look into adding cardio to help the calorie balance. Then, if you want a defined six pack, look into crunches and things like that.

As a guy I agree wholeheartedly with the answer below. Sure, there will be some guys who get a thrill out of the extra chase or whatever... but then there are the rest of us that figure its time we move on (or worse, realise the girl is playing games and develop a real dislike towards her). Its a pretty long answer. The bare bones are, eat often, eat balanced meals, eliminate most saturated fats, eat moderate on carbs, exercise drink plenty of water, eliminate junk foods and other similar crap, etc.

In the link there is a calorie calculator. Also there are meal examples. In your case, since you are a pretty small person, you will probably need to cut the portions down. Use the calorie counter to determine how much to eat per meal.

For your boyfriend I recommend pumping weights at the gym and a good bulking program. A few pounds of lean muscle wouldnt hurt the guy :)

So when it says dead meat does it mean just the swine or it also refers to any other animals?

And also, does islam prohibit eating chicken?

I cant comment on the actual wording of the Koran. However, from my Muslim friends I have learned that they can eat all kinds of meat (except pork) providing that this meat is halal. Basically the blood is drained out of the animal in a specific way. Perhaps the "dead meat" thing is a bad or incomplete translation.

So chicken is ok, as is beef, lamb, other kinds of birds etc.
