But sometimes whenever guys get drunk, obviously, as to what happens at most parties or wherever there's alcohol, there's also sex, so he may just be wanting a hook up.
It's really very hard to tell cause I ( obviously ) don't know the guy myself, so I'm not able to give a true view on things cause if I knew him better then I could say "well, knowing him, it was probably just this..."
Like I said, it depends, because alcohol can also give people the care-free feeling, and whenever they're drunk they let loose and don't care what other people think of them, really, so it might've given him a boost of gutsiness to just give you a call and blurt out that he likes you.
I would contact him again if you know his number or anything, and just let him know what happened the other night and tell him what he said, and just asked him why he said that ; what did he mean? He might not have recollition (sp) on the thought, but hopefully, he does and he'll be able to tell you.

So, if the guy liked you and was the kind of guy that was too embarrassed to call you before, he might suddenly find the courage when under influence.
I dont know this guy so its hard to make that assesment. Usually though one can tell from the guy quite easily. If he is the player type... horny. If he wants to see you right then and there (not lets make a date next Friday for example) then also probably horny. [ Alin75's advice column | Ask Alin75 A Question ]
