You're trying thats all that matters, and your healthy. Try making a routine, exercise everyday for 1 hour (or however long you need) and limit your foods; what i mean by this is say to yourself. Okay *your name* I will always eat...... whatever. Think positive and tell yourself you can. Dont be shy, email me back and tell me what you think.

HubbaBubbaHelp answered Monday October 30 2006, 8:11 pm: Well there is a disease that keeps you from losing weight...it's called Hypothyroidism. It slows your metabalism and makes it hard for you to lose weight. [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
here's a site with more info...lots of women have it and don't even know...i've actually had it since 3rd grade...and i just found out last year.
thanks to doctor help i've lost 30 pounds...now i only have a hundred more to reach my goal. that's 120 by the way...
so good luck...oh and if it's not Hypothyroidism try weightwatchers...that works for almost anyone. [ HubbaBubbaHelp's advice column | Ask HubbaBubbaHelp A Question ]
Alin75 answered Monday October 30 2006, 7:28 pm: Well, have you tried doing it mathematically. Determine how many calories you burn in a day, and then subract 500 or so from your diet. This of course means counting everything you eat. Normally I think this is going overboard, but in your case it might be neccessary.
Also, join a gym and try to do a combination of weight training and cardio (one weights, one day cardio usually works quite nicely). For best results, do the cardio in the morning before breakfast.
Now, as for your diet. I am not sure how you are eating, but here are some general tips on getting the most out of your meals:
1. Eat 4-6 small meals every day evenly spaced every 3-4 hours or so. This is very important for your metabolism. Divide your calories more or less evenly between these meals, though eating a bit more before periods of activity and a bit less before periods of rest.
2. Eat balanced meals and drink lots of water
3. Avoid saturated fats and things that have sugar added (that takes care of most of the "crap" one eats)
4. Make sure you get enough protein. Base your meals around a good protein source like skinlees chicken/turkey, cottage cheese, tuna etc. A meal could thus be 200g cottage cheese, an apple and a small handful of walnuts, or it might be 150g of skinless chicken breast, a salad made with a good oil and 50g of pasta. Note that the actuall size of the portions should be determined by your calorie count if you dont feel you are able to succeed through trial and error.
Heres a calorie calculator. These things are never totally accurate in my opinion, but it will give you a good start.
TheDayTripper answered Monday October 30 2006, 5:26 pm: A shitload of cardio goes a very long way.Do about two hours of cardiovascular exercises each day. Also,go for walks whenever you don't have anything better to do.
If you don't see any results after a month or two, boost it up a bit and try for two and a half hours or more.
Losing weight isn't just going to come out of the blue.It takes a lot of effort;usually much more than people expect it to.However,if you're willing to put enough effort into it,it'll happen. [ TheDayTripper's advice column | Ask TheDayTripper A Question ]
