There is this boy in all of my classes except library and computer. I go to a small Catholic school btw. Anyway, I think hes sweet and cute and really nice. he sits next to me in honors algebra. but i made fun of him last year for no reason and i think he kinda likes me but im scared that if i ask him out, his mom (who hates me) will get mad.

I have this great best friend, and plenty of other friends, but I have never had a bf. i am 13 and really like 3 guys. one is a year younger than me and i wanna kno if thats weird cuz it is in my school. and the other two are in my grade, but one isn't in my class. I think its that they dont like seeing you girls cry. Guys always try to hide their true feelings, and it just makes them feel sorry for themselves. Either that or since he's your best guy freind, he doesn't like to see you cry

Everyone is so incredibly jealous of me. I know I'm a nice person and that I don't show off so I don't see how this has happened. My 'best friends' have all turned against me (twice now with different groups, once this year and once last year).
I only have one real friend. People are always complaining how smart, pretty, athletic, rich, stylish etc I am. Never once have I bragged and I NEVER act like I'm better than someone. In fact, I have struggled a lot to achieve everything I have and I love myself. I know exactly who I am.
What I don't understand is why this happened to me or how to get by it. I have tried heart to hearts, ignoring it and everything in between.
I know every single person in my grade at my school (we live in a pretty isolated town) so I can't exactly meet new people. I also don't WANT to forgive the people who have done such mean things to me in my past. Everyone is just so insecure.
How do I get through this? Is there any hope? (link)

of coarse there is hope, theres always hope, you just have to believe in yourself and you'll find it. Now heres what you should do. Find somewehere where everyone can hear you or confront each of them individually, and tell them that your sick and tired of them talking behind your back and spreading gossip. The truth is your not doing anything wrong, ther just making it look like you did something wrong. Who do you hang out with? I mean, you have to be tight with someone in your school. or get one of your past freinds, and talk to them. if they were once your freind, they'll find that inner-freindship and understand. if they really and trueley understand, they'll be willing to help you. if you think you look that bad with glasses and can see okay, try wearing them only when your copying something off the board in school, and not when your talking and walking around. But if your eye site is bad then i suggest contacts, but you really shouldnt do either it think your better off being yourself

Does he have a sn??? If so, its easier to talk to him online then to confront hime face to face. But if not, then either have the guts to get his # and call him. Or write a note and put it in his desk.

ok so i was drunk at my friends house and so was her brothers friend...we will just call him trav... and we were flirting all night until i went to talk to my friend. she said that she was really protective of him but i just left and when i got inside trav grabbed me and kissed me, several times. we have been talking ever since but my friend doesnt want us to be together because she is protective of him. This is going to sound really corny, but just be yourself, and say what you feel. Its better then being someone your not.You should really be more outgoing. My friend used to be so shy until she decided one day not to be. She took up acting (think about it??) and now she is hyper and funny and so far from shy.

oh crap, omg i feel so bad. im in catholic school and THE SAME crap happens. I don't know what it is about Catholic schools, but even at parties and stuff PRETEND YOU DONT SEE THE BAD STUFF thats what I do hehe and end up having a blast with people I never got to know.

Alright. This is going to sound really emo, but I need advice. When I was 13 or 14, I was dianosed with depression. I cut a couple times. Then I basically overcame it, and moved to Nevada, where now everything's basically great. Until yesterday. I was working on my Halloween costume, and I was using a razor knife to cut the head box. The knife slipped and sliced my arm. It hurt, but it felt like all my problems came gushing out of that cut. I hate to admit it, but every time something bad happened today, I thought of that cut, and I wanted to do it again. And again and again and again. I don't want to get into this shit again. Whenever I get my hair cut or get something new, she comes in with something to try and outdo me? I really dont see the point.Its like everything is a competition! And then she copies me with stuff and then claims its her own idea and try's to turn people against me.I know for a fact shes been bitching about me aswell but then when i confront her she just try's to suck up to me.
I would also confront her about all the competition but she just try's to turn it all back on me and its so frustrating.My mum thinks shes just jealous of me.But I have no idea what to do.

For a while ive had the same problem, but here what you do...
Just explain to her that if you guys are freinds, shouldn't you be happy for eachother, instead of trying to compete?
Another thing that may be your problem is that, your showing you care and letting her know whats wrong (dont worry, thats a good thing) but try not to over-do it, because when she knows your making a big deal out of it her plan has suceeded.

OKay, take a deep breath and relax.
You're trying thats all that matters, and your healthy. Try making a routine, exercise everyday for 1 hour (or however long you need) and limit your foods; what i mean by this is say to yourself. Okay *your name* I will always eat...... whatever. Think positive and tell yourself you can. Dont be shy, email me back and tell me what you think.
