♥[?]♥ hey im 13 and a female. i was wondering are looks an important part in a relationship? all my friends say it is but i think its a lil shallow.
**sleepiesheep**
To most, definitely. Personally, I don't care in the slightest bit. I don't know what is wrong with people today. I, too, fail to understand how a good percentage of our human population can be so judgemental and cruel. It's both frightening and digusting. If you agree with me (and it seems you do), then be proud of that; as, you an I are part of a rare breed. ;]

♥[?]♥ hey im 13 and a female. i was wondering do online relationships work?
**sleepiesheep**
Not if you plan on keeping it that way 'forever'. My question is why must you title your relationship with the "dating" status at all? If you honestly think you have feelings for this person, go and meet them - that's the first step. Then just take it from there, and see what becomes of it. But if you feel that you will never get a chance to meet this person, then don't bother trying to keep a healthy and honest "online relationship". It won't work.
okay. im not fat or anything. but i like to work out. to keep my matabalism[sp?] up and to get stronger. does anyone have any exercises, work out rountines, etc. that are not on video that i can do? thanks!
To maintain a healthy weight, exercise and diet are both required; so keep that in mind.
That being said, you can find lists of healthy foods at:
- http://www.whfoods.com/foodstoc.php
As far as an exercise routine goes, a few good activities that can simply assist in porportioning the body in it's entirety would be anything that gets the blood circulation goin', such as: jogging, jumping jacks, jumping rope, walking, and bicycle riding. Another thing, if you have access to a heated pool, water aerobics work like a charm!!
Also, I've never done yoga or pilates, personally, but people swear by them. So, I think that's worth a shot. If you're interested in that, check out:

To tone your triceps (I do this one and it performs miracles, by the way!):
If you'd like to target your stomach specifically, crunches would assist in that. For directions on how to do a proper crunch, check out:

And here is something I'm sure will spark your interest. This website has a list activities, and the numerical amount of calories they will burn:

The thing to remember is that maintaining a steady weight takes time and effort. You just have to stay committed, and strive to keep up the drive. It's all in the mind, it really is! (=
♥[?]♥ Everytime I sign onto AIM, and leave the room for like 20-50 minutes, it signs me off. I know it's not one from my house and my computer doesn't get turned off. How do I stop this and what is causing it? It just started this yesterday.
Uhm, that's odd. Maybe it's a virus? All of the AIM viruses I've experienced have not been this way, but I think it's definitely possible. If this is an actual AIM virus, then here is what you should do: you need a certain AIM virus detector. I have a link you can nuke it with: http://www.jayloden.com/aimfix.htm
Simply go there, and just click "DOWNLOAD". It's 100% FREE. It downloads in seconds. Another good thing is that it does not download ANY other crap with it. Once it's downloaded, save it to your Desktop [just so it's easy to find], and run the program. It will kick you off AIM [for about 10-14 seconds], while it scans AIM for this virus. Once deleted, you can sign right back on.
If for some reason you notice this problem has not gone away, the virus might be on your machine [and not within AIM itself]. If this should happen, then I suggest running Ad-Aware to filter out any Spyware existing on your computer. If you do not have Ad-Aware, you can download it for free at: http://www.download.com/3000-2144-10045910.html
And if all of this doesn't work, then I have no idea. I think then would be the time to uninstall-reinstall.
♥[?]♥ do myspaces have viruses on them? i dont have one personally but i look at them! ahhhh thanks i will rate!
It's possible. Virtually any site may contain a virus, because virutally any site has the ability of being "hacked". While I'm sure the MySpace team do all that they can to ensure the safety of it's members, they can not GUARANTEE you 100% security. It's completely possible that while browsing from page to page, you might have the unfortunate luck of stumbling upon someones MySpace which contains an image backed by a virus. I know this, because this has happened to me. The best way to prevent this is to eliminate major surfing of MySpace, and not saving any of the images that float around.
♥[?]♥ Is it weird that my boyfriend comments all of my friend's pictures on myspace, yet doesnt comment any of mine? Backround info : He really liked this girl last year. However, he is a great bf and we have good chemistry together.
Well, just because he doesn't comment your pictures doesn't mean he doesn't care; just remember that. But truthfully, this would upset me. If I were in your shoes, I would come right out and ask him WHY. =/
♥[?]♥ On Myspace, how do you make your account private so where only your friends can see your site...
Thanks
You need to log in, for starters. Next, click "EDIT PROFILE". Then go to "BASIC INFO". And finally just change the year of your birthday to the year that would classify you as 14. Simple as that.
♥[?]♥ I've bravely agreed to venture on a blind date this saturday. The date was aranged by one of my co workers who is a very nice person and would never set me up with a jerk.
The problem is that it's been a long time since I've been in the dating scene. I'm talking YEARS. This is because my last bf was quite abusive (not physically but verbally and financially). I feel the time is right to start dating again because it's a new year and my confidence is at a all time high since I got a good job and have a bit more money to spend. I just got my hair done to prepare for this date.
Can anyone give me advice on how to act for this blind date? And what is new in the dating world? Please I would appreciate any feedback, I REALLY want to make a great first impression.
We all want to make a fantastic first impression. The thing to remember is that he will also be nervous. Not only that, but he will be expecting you to be nervous. Most people tend to be a tad apprehensive about any date, blind or otherwise; especially those who have been "out of practice" for quite some time.
I am of the understanding that you are no longer a teenager. I'd assume the mid 20's, to early 30's would be about right. I've searched through Google, only to find that results on this topic were seemingly few and far between. However, I did happen to find three pages, which might assist in the easing of your mind. They're geared more towards adults, which is apparently exactly what we need. Hopefully you are able to find some comfort within this text:
♥[?]♥ is cottage cheese and celery a good food to eat on a diet?
That's a wise choice, yes. For some other snack ideas, you can try reviewing:

♥[?]♥ if i do 50 or more sit ups every night about how long should it take before i start to see a difference?
Fairly, I'd say 3 weeks if you follow a healthy diet plan. Diet and exercise go hand-in-hand, both are vital and extremely beneficial to each other.
♥[?]♥ does anyone know any music that isnt very popular (preferable alternative, indie type bands) or even singers that really no one knows about, but you think will hit it big in 2006? im looking for brand new artists that no one really knows of!! thanks a ton!
To answer your question directly: no, I can not think of any artists. However, you could try surfing http://www.myspace.com Once you find an artist page, scan their "Friends" list. You're bound to find hundreds of new and upcoming artists there. Since all bands want to "make it big", they are all willing to publicise another band in exchange for that band publicising them. I really think you will have some luck there. (=
♥[?]♥ Does anyone know any short quotes or song lyrics that have to do with ..
A.] Sunshine , Sunny, bright [ something long those lines ]
B.] Crazy, messy, weird [ lol ]
C.] Lonliness

♥[?]♥ Whats a good way to lose weight that works and takes little time? What kind of foods do i eat? Or should i eat at all? If any one can give me some good ways to lose weight fast that actually works..that would be amazing!! I'll rate all 5's!!
thanx!
Eat, definitely eat. Never starve yourself. You don't want to go there. The way to shed some pounds is by following a healthy routine; a routine with a strict diet and exercise plan.
Now, a few good activities that can simply assist in porportioning the body in it's entirety would be anything that gets the blood circulation goin', such as: jogging, jumping jacks, jumping rope, walking, and bicycle riding. Also, if you have access to a heated pool, water aerobics work like a charm!!
Here is a website listing activities, and the numerical amount of calories they will burn:
Remember that diet and exercise go hand-in-hand, so providing you cut out the extremely unhealthy foods, such as white bread [substitute it with wheat], cake products, ice cream, junk food, and soda, you'll notice a significant amount of weight loss within the first few weeks, alone.
You can find lists of healthy foods at:
-- http://www.whfoods.com/foodstoc.php
As you probably already know, it's best to eat several small portions a day; but this does not mean to "starve" yourself. Say, have an apple and a piece of cheese, two hours later have a few crakers, and an hour later have one piece of wheat toast, and so on and so forth, ya know??? And those are just some snack ideas. When it comes to solid meals, you don't really have to cut out much. Just take in moderation. Little intakes of food like that gives your body time to digest it properly. You see how that's better than eating one or two huge meals a day?? Because then it would take too long to catch up, and your body will not be able to burn the calories quickly enough; so it just quits, adding body fat.
Of course you must realize that weight loss takes time. I can't really say how long it will take; I suppose that differs from person to person. It really just depends on how much weight you're looking to shed. I'd say you could lose 10 to 20 pounds within the first month; that's very possible [seeing as how a good portion of that 10-20 pounds will be water weight].
You just have to stay committed, and strive to keep up the drive. Some tips: just try to keep yourself busy, and sleep as often as possible. Those things keep your mind off of food.
Sure it seems like you're giving up so much, but think about what you will be gaining if you feel better about yourself! That's the best damned grand prize you'll ever find! (=

♥[?]♥ If I'm on my period, and I have a tampon in, what should I do if, while making out, my boyfriend starts to put his hand down my pants? Should I assume he is going to finger me, and immediately warn him that I have a tampon in? If so, what/how should I say it? OR should I let him do whatever he is going to do, and then IF he DOES begin to finger me, should I THEN tell him to stop? Thanks for your help.
You should let him know before hand. That will help prevent the awkwardness and embarrassment. You don't necessarily come out and say the words - you can if you want to, and feel comfortable with it, but you don't have to. You can go about this nonchantly by mentioning how your tummy hurts. If he's a caring boyfriend, he should ask you why, and if you're okay. Just tell him something like, "I don't know.. it just started hurting out of nowhere. I think it's like a cramp or something?" He's probably old enough to assume it's that time of the month, and chances are he will ask you flat out if it is. And if he does, just say yes. I know it might embarrass you, but it's a part of life, and he will understand this and not form any negative opinions over something that is all nature, trust me. But if for some reason you can't bring this up to him the day or few hours before hand, then just make sure you stop him before his hand goes south. Just lightly and gently grab ahold of his wrist, slide it up your tummy and tell him, "that's not a good idea right now". That sentence, combined with a direct look in the eye, should tell him that situation. If he STILL doesn't get the clue, tell him, "it's just not a good week". They say men are "dumber" than women, but I don't see how any man could miss ALL of those hints.. ;]
♥[?]♥ oook i am between 5'0 and 5'2 and i weigh 85-88 pounds..am i overweight?
"You are emaciated. Consult your doctor or dietitian!", is what you would see if you went to http://www.am-i-fat.com and clicked on "Am I Fat?". You would see that (according to http://www.am-i-fat.com) your BMI (Body Mass Indicator, which is the percentage of your body that is made up of fat) reads 16%.
If you didn't know, "emaciated" means "wasting away". To answer your question directly, you are not overweight. You are underweight. The website is telling you to pack on some pounds, before you plummet too far down the hill.
For some tips of motivation and getting on track to a healthy weight gain, I'm suggesting the following websites to you:

♥[?]♥ i just need a way to shed a few poundsim 13/m like 118 pounds 5'5 i know it doesnt sound bad but i want to be able to see my abs like i can see them but not good i just wanna loose some body fat in the stomach area
Limit your calorie intake to 1,500 calories per day. Eliminate the extremely unhealthy foods altogether, such as; soda, cake products, candy, chips, and white bread. Then just try to get in 30 minutes to one hour of cardio vascular work out each day. Some examples of that would be: jogging, running, walking, bicycle riding (stationary or otherwise), jump roping and so on. Crunches would be a good idea, to enhance the abs, too.
