It's possible. Virtually any site may contain a virus, because virutally any site has the ability of being "hacked". While I'm sure the MySpace team do all that they can to ensure the safety of it's members, they can not GUARANTEE you 100% security. It's completely possible that while browsing from page to page, you might have the unfortunate luck of stumbling upon someones MySpace which contains an image backed by a virus. I know this, because this has happened to me. The best way to prevent this is to eliminate major surfing of MySpace, and not saving any of the images that float around.

I don't know for a fact if it does or doesn't, I've been on myspace for a while now and I haven't gotten one. The only time I ever get viruses is on AOL IM. But It's possible, just try not to click on popups and stuff and you should be okay. You really should have a virus protector though. We have norton anti virus, I hear mcaffee is pretty good too. But no, I first got a myspace the begining of last year, then I got a new one, but that whole time I never once got a virus from myspace. Tom does a decent job with the site!!

I've been on Myspace for more than a year now and my computer hasn't had a virus yet. There are viruses that you could get but they're usually from clicking on links. Unless someone sends you something and you open it up, there really isn't any viruses. But there are over 46 million users on this site so you never know the chance of getting hit with a virus.

I don't know, they might. I do know that once I was on myspace and a whole bunch of blank windows opened up. I had to unplug my computer. I did it a couple more times to see if it was just a one time thing, but it happened again both times. I wouldn't worry about it unless something like this has happened; tons of people use myspace and I rarely hear complaints about it.
