I'm going to be honest here, not a dick like usual.
YES. yes. yes yes yes. He's serving our country, risking his life for people he doesn't know. My sister is dating a guy in the National Guard, and he's at bootcamp right now. He's the most respectful kid I know, and he's funny and smart and he treats my sister great. How can you NOT want to date a guy like that? (I don't, of course, but the general you) Your military guy deserves a great girlfriend, though. Someone who'll love him and respect that he won't always be there, and will treat him right when he is (provided he treats her right, of course) So, yes. Military guys are up there with fat guys on who I want to end up with. :)

My Dad has a great job oppurtunity that he just accepted & that means I have to move about 14 hours away. Don't get me wrong, I'm really happy & kind of excited to get a chance to start over but I'm kind of scared. I've never moved before... I just started at a new high school this year as a freshman but I had a lot of people I knew around me. I don't know what to do! I've worn uniforms to school my whole life & next year I'll be at public school...I have no idea how I would dress! Can someone relate or help me out? I'm 15, female, soon to be sophomore. Decorations on the bottoms of your jeans, butterflies and ruffles on your shirts, skechers, etc. is for 10 year olds! Just, the first day dress kind of normal, then see how everyone else at your school dresses. Good luck!

the other day in gym, we were playing softball. i'm not very athletically inclined, if you know what i mean. i was up to bat and i like hit the ball and i screamed. my gym teacher goes 'i think she has issues' and she said this in front of the whole class. i asked her what she meant and she goes 'well when ever you get pressured or have the spotlight on you, you scream and flail your arms around, that's just one of your issues.' i didn't really think anything of this, but now the more taht i think about it, it is making me upset.
is this an appropriate thing to say to me [a 13 year old] ?
and i'm thinking of having my mom call her, would this be a good idea. (link)

Well this is a tuffy. Could you tell if she was serious or not? If she was, yes I would do something..because that's not something she should be saying to a kid. Atleast TELL your mom about it so she can decide what do to. Hope I helped!

im a 13 year old female. my mom is very strict about "getting enough sleep" and i have a VERY early bedtime. i have to be off the computer by 8:50 pm and i have to be in bed and be watching a half hour tv show from 9:00 to 9:30. i HAVE to be sleeping by 9:30 pm. even if im not done with homework or want to read a couple more pages of my book, I HAVE TO BE SLEEPING. so i go to sleep at 9:30 pm and wake up at 6:45 am. I think i don't need that much sleep. my friends go to bed at 11:30 and they are still wide awake at school. and what makes it worse is that i have the SAME exact bedtime as my 9 year old sister. thats 4 years apart!! i don't think it's fair and i don't think its neccessary to be sleeping by 9:30 pm i feel if i went to bed at 10 or 10:30, i would still get the sleep i need. what time do you guys go to bed and do you think my moms being fair? how can i get my mom to change my bedtime? and shes very strict so i need some good ways to pursuade her with.

It may sound crazy, but I wish my mom was like that. It use to be like that when I lived at my maw-maws and I miss that. But, I'll try to help you out :] Have you told her that people don't go to bed at the time? Or if you have a sleepover, you could tell your friend ahead of time to say something like "Oh my gosh.. we have to go to bed this early? I'm allowed to stay up until *whenever*" Um.. that's all I can think of. If she STILL says no, either contact me again .. or she probably has a good reason.

My cat has been gaging like he's going to puke but then he dosn't and he does it especialy when you pick him up. Also he's breathing out of his mouth. I know for sure that theres nothing stuck in his throat... and the weirdest part is that my other cat is starting to do it now too. Does anyone know what might be causing it. Im really woried and dont have the money to go to the vet. Please Help. (link)

That happened to my cat and my mom said it was probably a hairball. If you pick like the long pieces of grass and lay the grass near it, then watch and see if your cat eats it. If he/she eats it then it knows it needs it. (My mom told me all of this.) Let it eat however much it needs. Then later, it should throw up a hairball. That's what happened to my cat. Hope I helped!

In my room (I'm 14 years old), I have light blue walls. Would dark blue sheets & comforter look good? Because I also have light blue sheets, blue/green/purple stripes, and a light blue clouded one. I've tried them all, but I like the dark blue best.. But is it too weird? Thanks! (link)

i dont have curly hair, but my hair isnt as straight as i would like it to be, and the bottom of my hair flips out, which i hate!right now, i use the remington wet2straight, but lately it hasnt been straightening my hair like it used to.what type of straightener would you reccommend for me?i dont need a straightener for very curly hair, but i like my hair to be basically stick straight. i've heard that the Solia straightener works very well,some people swear by it!but it is a bit pricey.if the Solia works as well as people say,and it is worth the money, then i'll buy it.

It won't do it on Paint. I use Adobe Photoshop 7.0- you can download it. If you do download it, Desaturate means to turn it to black & white.

I have an audition on Sunday, the only problem is that when I woke up this morning I discovered that I had lost my voice. I can't reschedule the audition. Does anyone have any ways that I can make my voice come back quickly? Any advice would be very much appreciated. I will rate high. (link)

I love my best friend but I just don't get why people are drawn to her. Guys, girls, even little kids.
Well, she's pretty and everything so I guess I understand why all guys love her. But still, other girls and little kids die to be around her as well.
I went with her to pick up her contacts yesterday and while we were waiting, she was reading a magazine and a little girl just came up to her and after 10 min, the girl didn't even want to leave with her mom!
It happens ALL the time. At school, at the mall, the movies, EVERYWHERE. People just come up to her, they don't even know her, and start talking to her. I don't get it?? (link)

Same EXACT thing here. At church ALL of the little kids want her to play with them. And everywhere we go, I mean it's the same as your problem. I kinda figured out she was standing up tall and smiling and seeming like a nice person, and I was just you know. Just think about your appearance; stand up straight and tall, dress nice (i'm not saying expensive clothes, just neat and clean), smile at people and be friendly! Hope I helped.

so today was the last day of school,and theres this boy i REALLY like. seriously thought i like him more than i've ever liked a crush. i think about him all the time.this year he was in my majors andwe talked a lot and we were friendly, we just weren't really actual friends. (hes mostly friends with most of the "popular" people.) throughout the year (even before i liked him) i couldnt figure out if he liked me. i could see him looking at me a lot and my friend said he was staring at me at lunch once. well i already miss him a LOT and we just got out of school today,because i know i wont see him unless i run into him somewhere. he signed my yearbook and wrote "my name-mad good times-his name" idk i know these questions are irrelevant and i actually dont even know what my actual question is. i'm confused about this, i reallly like him and i have no idea if he feels the same. could someone help me out? thanks (link)

well..if he was looking at you at lunch..i mean, why else would he look at you? it kinda sounds like he likes you..but i don't know. maybe you could find one of his friends, and get his number. kinda the same thing happened with me...a boy that i REALLY asked me out on a friday and i told him i didn't know (dumb lol). then i went on vacation that weekend and thought about him that WHOLE weekend, and i couldn't wait to get home to tell him yes. well while i was gone, he asked another girl out. not cool lol.

So my friend wants me to help her with her appearance. she told me she wants a tan..and she was going to do the spray on tan..but from my experience i didnt find the spray tan very effective for what she wants..she doesnt have much money to spend so she cant get one every so often so i mentioned that there are bronzing lotions and stuff like that out there..so she is coming over sometime so we can do this and i DONT want to use a self tanner..and i'm not big on the brands of bronzing lotions i just know they have them..can someone recommend some good tanning LOTIONS or those cloths they have out now that i can get at a walmart or something. this may be kind of long but ill try to make it as short as possible. me and this guy mike have been broken up for about a year and a half. the whole time we have talked and he still tells me he loves me and misses me every once in a while. well tonight i was with my friend and he called me. well he then told me he was coming to my house but i told him no cause im scared of heartbreak. i do have a boyfriend of 7 months but i still do care about mike. and my boyfriend is amazing so i dont want to hurt him. well mike stayed for like 10 minutes trying to get me to come outside but i couldnt bring my self to it cause i always do. well later on he told me that he made me something since i made him a scrapbook last summer. he refuses to give it to me til i see him. he stayed on the phone with me after he left and had something to say but couldnt because his friend was there. he told me wed talk about it later and i asked when that was and he told me he didnt know. i really care about him and i always will cause he was my first love but i dont know what to do. should i just let him come over and give it to me and talk to me like he wanted and say what he wanted or should i just say no? please help. thanks so much!! this reminds me of the notebook lol. so anyway.. well it sounds like you still love him and that he still really loves you too. you should let him come over and talk to you to help you make up your mind about everything.
when he gives you what he made you and talks to you, you might end up liking him even more than your boyfriend now, so then you can just go out with him and break up with your current boyfriend.
