My sister just had a baby and he husband's last name is Wood. Well, my sister has always wanted to name her daughter "Holly". So we just need a few HONEST opinions here.
Do you find it tacky to have a girl named "Holly Wood?"

I love the name! I had a friend when I was younger and her dad's last name was Reighn (pronounced RAIN) and her mom named her Misty thought is was to cute Misty "Rain"...

Haha it's kind of ironic because my name is Holly and I live in HollyWood (thoug my last name is not wood). I don't think it's tacky, I think it's pretty cute. But always remember, her middle name does seperate Holly from Wood.

I love the name Holly, It's one of my good friend's names, But NOT with Wood. That is tacky. The girl will be made fun of for sure. Choose something else!!!!Personally, not anything ending in (-olly). Don't do that to the poor child!

Yes, extremely. I think she could compromise with Molly, but I think that will still get some snickers. My advice...pick another name! Though she could still use Holly as a middle name, if she's so in love with it.
