Well, I love piercings. However, on the other hand, my mom isn't as open to the idea. I do have my ears pierced and have since I was very, very young. I really want to stretch my ears but when I brought up the idea to my mom it was a definite "no". I'm pretty sure I could convince my mom to let me get more piercings to my ears or possibly my naval, eyebrow, or nose, as well. But these aren't exactly what I would want. I'm liking hips, collarbones, tounges, and lip piercings. I do plan to bring this up with my mom, although she is contrarian, and see what her terms and conditions are.. So what are other piercing ideas that may stand a chance with my mom?
I'm not interested/ nor will my mom let me get septum, dimple, bridge, nape, or any piercings in my "private" area. Also, I think the biggest issue she has about piercings is that it might be difficult along the rode to get a job..

I had a similar problem. My parents were none too receptive to the idea of me getting more piercings than the double pierce I had in my lobes. Although it seems impossible, at least it did for me, give it some time. Think hard about each piercing and space it out. One thing I didn't think about enough was the healing process for each piercing, because my lobes, even the lobe piercing I did myself, healed totally fine.
If you still really want a specific piercing, bring it up to your mother in a mature, informed way. Present her with the risks, benefits, process, reputable places, etc. Thats what I did for my parents and they were far more open to the idea.
I got my lobes pierced when I was 10 and 12 (single then double) and pierced my third when I was a senior in high school. My parents were very clear that if I got anything more than a double pierce in each ear, they would not pay for college. So I found a semi-creative way to hide that piercing till I left for school.
When I got to school I went a little piercing crazy, much to my parent's dismay. Within the first three months of school I got my helix, tragus, rook, navel, and a microdermal on my hip. I love all of my piercings but the healing for them is more difficult than I expected.
I did my research and read a bunch of stories about people's individual piercings and it was pretty much half and half- good and bad experiences. Just take that into account and consider how well or how poorly your body will accept the piercing. If you r other piercings haven't healed well, than start out with a piercing that heals easily (or easier than others) before venturing out to a riskier piercing- like the rook, navel, or surface piercings. Also, consider the maintenance that is involved- I got a bunch of piercings quickly, which meant a lot of time cleaning- which wasn't so easy and likely led to an intense tragus infection.
Another big problem you are probably going to face is your age. I wanted a bunch of piercings at your age and my parents were very strict about never getting them, especially while still living in their house- which is a valid point. Most highly professional and reputable piercing salons will likely only pierce you once you turn 18. At my piercing salon, they wouldn't even let you in if you were under 16. And even when they knew I was 18 because I had been there a few days prior, and I was with my mom, they still wouldn't pierce me without my ID, which I had to go get from my room.
Don't get anything pierced with a gun or with an unsterile equipment. Never pierce anything yourself (contrary to my somewhat successful, although poorly placed self pierced lobe), placement can be a huge factor in risk of rejection and infection, as well as other more serious complications. Ask about their credentials, you will never regret asking it but you will regret not asking about it.
My piercings haven't made it difficult for me to get a job- I currently work as a research assistant at a large hospital, but it also depends on how you present yourself. I've always avoided the temptation to get facial piercings for that reason.
For one that your mom might be more likely to go for, as well as one that might not be as much of a hassle for future employment, I would consider the antitragus- one I'm considering as well. Sometimes it can appear to look like a lobe piercing, since the other side of the jewelry can sometimes be difficult to see- good for some people, not good for others. It all depends on preference.

I currently have one lobe piercing on each ear and would like to get two more lobe piercings on each ear. I was wondering if it was okay to get them done at the same time or if I needed to space out the piercings.
Just fyi, my first piercing was never infected and I hardly ever cleaned it.

I can't think of any reason it wouldn't work to get them pierced at the same time. The level of pain might be different but seeing as they are simple lobe piercings, that shouldn't be much of a problem. Just make sure the piercing salon is reputable and uses fresh needles for each piercing!

~ I'm planning on getting a belly button piercing so I've asked my friends for references and have been calling around. Some people had some wierd advice though. One person said you shouldn't use barbels when you're still healing, someone else said you shouldn't use gold, but I'm allergic to most metals especially if they're in a piercing so I want to use gold. So, other than AIDS what are some risks/tips/tricks that I should be aware of? (link)

If your skin is really sensitive, go with titanium, the body is least likely to reject it. Go to a very legitimate piercing shop and ask their opinion on specifics. They will most likely pierce it with a curved barbell (surgical stainless steel or titanium being the best).
To clean it, use a shot glass method. Take a very small pinch of noniodized sea salt (use one pinch for eight ounces of water), and put it in a shot glass full of warm water. Tip the shot glass over your belly button to create suction and hold it there for around ten minutes. Then rinse with warm water.
Only touch it with very clean hands and keep unnecessary touching (touching when not cleaning) to a minimum. Avoid hitting/bumping/irritating it. Belly button piercings can reject so make sure the piercer knows what he/she is doing and you take good care of it.

I have been with my boyfriend for 4 years, and I love him, but we started our relationship with him choosing my best friend over me, and later he cheated on me, chose other girls over me, sided with other girls if a conflict ever arrose, lied to me about being with girls who were awful towards me, etc. This was a long time ago, and he has been amazing for over a year. He's been so good to me, and I know he loves me, he deserves to start over. He is not a bad guy, he just made mistakes and learned from them. Unfortunately, I think it has affected me beyond repair.
Because he would "crush" on other girls, I have an overwhelming sense that I'm not good enough for him. And because these girls are rail thin, I constantly feel too fat for him to ever be attracted to me. The fat is, I'm not fat, so why do I feel like a cow 24/7?? He has made comments about the way I look, and I'm sure he meant nothing by them, but because of my insecurity I am overly sensative and get upset. For example, during Halloween I was trying on sexy costumes and asked if he liked them and he said "These are just not for you they don't look right I don't like them" I immediately asked who they would be for then, but he just shrugged... I assumed he meant I was not sexy enough for them, because they were not incredibly slutty or ugly they were all cute. I have come to the conclusion that he is not attracted to me and just loves me because he is comfortable with me. And I wonder if he thinks about other girls when we're in bed, or wishes he ended up with them instead... He's the type that would never say anything, and stay w/ me to be nice.
This is causing so much trouble between us. For example, I have become so digustingly jealous of EVERY girl he talks to, looks at, or knows. I know I shouldn't, but I get so upset when any girl talks to him. THIS IS CRAZY. I was never like this before :(
I feel ugly - but I have always been so confident in myself. How can I stop being so insecure???
p.s. I tried telling him that I feel like he isn't attracted to me and he didn't say anything at first, then when he started to compliment me it sounded so fake and forced. Now I am embaressed whenever he says something nice to me because I think it is only because I told him to. I sound so crazy, please help me before I push him away :(

That's definately a tough situation. Since you guys have been going out for so olng, there is a good chance that he really has changed, because he has matured. However, he could also not have really changed. My ex boyfriend cheated on me with two of my friends, then broke up with me for one of them and they are still together. No matter what happened, I would never take him back and never trust him again or anything like that.
Also, if a guy is making you feel ugly, then he's not worth it. I know that sounds kind of cliche but its true.
Also about the jealousy...i used to be not jealous at all, like my ex could talk to whoever he wanted, whatever girls, hang out with them, i didn't care because I trusted him, but after having him cheat on me I always became suspicious. Even though I never really confronted him about it, I was always nervous and I was never like that before either.
Definately don't be embarrased or feel awkward when he compliments you. He may have just stopped because he got so relaxed around yuo, not because all of those things weren't true. Whatever you decide, talk to him about it and be honest.

Some people take longer to orgasm or get turned on than others.
Also there are two sensitive places for the girl- the clit and the g-spot, many girls are stimulated best by the clit but another handful, find the g-spot more satisfying. The clit is easier to find because its right there but the g-spot is in the back top of your vagina so it can be harder to find, but it can give more pleasure for certain people. I have the exact same problem right now haha.
Okay, putting frozen spoons on them will reduce its color and make them seem lighter. Then, use a comb and just comb them up and down because it breaks up the blood vessels. THen put on concealer, and foundation and they should be less visible.
They last anywhere from 2-7 days depending on the intensity of it and stuff haha. good luck.

For quick pimple relief, Mario Badasceau (sp?) makes a pink clove cream that you dip a q-tip in and then put on the pimple and you leave it on overnight and then wash it off in the morning and it dries the pimple out. Some people use toothpaste but i feel it temporarily stains the skin. Zeno is a rather expensive but extremely useful prodcut that uses low levels of concentrated heat to dry the pimples out and reduce the size and redness within 24 to 48 hours, they are about $150 at Walgreens. You can also pop if it has a white head but to do so you should use a small, steralized needle and then use q-tips to squeeze out the puss and then wash your face.

Hey.
One of my best friends has just started smoking pot and it's been freaking me out. She doesn't do it on a regular basis yet, but she hangs out with kids who are full-fledged potheads.
We've been friends for a really long time and I care about her a lot...I don't want her to do anything stupid. If she's your best friend then its not out of line for you to confront her about it. Just explain thatyou don't want it to become a habot for her and you don't want to lose her to drugs because weed is a gateway drug. Just be calm about it and don't make it seem like your attacking her. So confront her about it when you are alone and ask her about it. Don't just tell her how bad it is for her because, chances are, she already knows.

To be honest no fast food places are healthy and they all have a bunch of health code violations but subway is probably the healthiest. ALthough they do have there food sitting out, it is still probably the healthiest but it is better if you get it on wheat bread and skip the mayo, mustard, and cheese.

The dye itself could have caused an allergic reaction that makes hair fall out in some cases. It also causes damage but damage doesn't usually result in hair falling off in clumps. It could be completely unrelated to the hair dye and it could be due to poor diet. However, if it gets severe or if it really worries you (medically) , you should see a doctor about it.
