hco_babe answered Thursday May 3 2007, 7:29 pm: subway is most definitely the healthiest. if you fill your sub up with lots of vegetables it can be really good for you. avoid mcdonalds and taco bell unless you plan on ordering a salad or fruit cup. their fried food is filled with fat. A burger is a burger and it will be just as unhealthy no matter where you get it from. Some fast food restaurants have a wider selection of healthier foods than others, but a sandwich from Subway and the same sandwich from Quiznos are the same sandwich! They aren't going to differ that much from each other in how healthy they are. Subway, yeah it is known to be a healthier place to eat than other fast food places, but again, it depends on what you get. It's only known for being healthy because it doesn't offer cheeseburgers and french fries. For example, if you order a bologna sub with mayo and cheese, that's not very healthy compared to say a salad from McDonalds. McDonalds has a bad rap for being extremely unhealthy, but lately, they have added some really great things to their menu. I would say that they offer a bigger selection of healthier foods than any other burger joint. As for places like Quiznos and Subway, they generally offer healthier foods than at McDonalds, but again, there are things that you can get there that aren't nearly as healthy as a salad or chicken sandwich from McDonalds. In my opinion, I think that the healthiest foods are actually at Arbys. Their Market Fresh sandwiches are not only really good, but better quality than anything you may find at Subway or Quiznos. Just remember that it doesn't matter where you go, it matters what you order. :) [ sizzlinmandolin's advice column | Ask sizzlinmandolin A Question ]
beachpeach answered Thursday May 3 2007, 10:13 am: To be honest no fast food places are healthy and they all have a bunch of health code violations but subway is probably the healthiest. ALthough they do have there food sitting out, it is still probably the healthiest but it is better if you get it on wheat bread and skip the mayo, mustard, and cheese. =)
Subway's also healthy.
KFC...ew. I don't even want to start. It's plain crap.
BlondBritBrit answered Thursday May 3 2007, 9:15 am: Subway is basically the most healthy fast food place I can think of. Also Qdoba is pretty good. It's like a Mexican food Subway. They aren't a big brand so I'm not sure if there is one by you or not. If you go to McDonalds or where ever, the most healthy thing you can get there is the salads WITH OUT dressing. The dressing there is like, 400 calories or something my dad told me (He went from 240 pounds to 215 pounds in 2 months). [ BlondBritBrit's advice column | Ask BlondBritBrit A Question ]
