Which language?

Question Posted Saturday August 11 2007, 6:29 pm

I'm going to write a letter to my friend, and the only thing it'll say is "I like you." My issue is deciding which language to write it in. English? Spanish? French? Swedish? Portuguese? Haha, help me out. What would you think would be most "romantic"/ "cute"/ "whatever" if you got it?

Russian!!

I like you is:

Ты мне нравишься.

Prononounced:

TI MNYE NRA-vish-sya.

I love you is:

Я тебя лыблю.

Pronounced:

YA TIB-ya loo-BLOO.

But because this is so foreign, I don't know if you would want to use it. Out of the choices you gave, I would choose French because it sounds very romantic and beautiful.

ComplexMind answered Sunday August 12 2007, 5:41 am:
I think a great idea would to put it in all of those languages, and put some sort of note like...

"I used all these languages to try to explain how I feel about you, since just one of them isn't enough"

Or something corny like that.

Corny = Cute

Girls dig corny.

Hope I helped!
